Very attentive and efficient customer care

When it comes to purchasing a car, there are many factors that need to be considered including cost, age, mileage, and aftercare. Trying to meet these requirements from a standard dealership is difficult; you may get a car at a low price, but can you be sure that the car will last, and how do you know that the car is as good as being advertised?

Instead of going for a private dealership (who is not authorised by any major car manufacturer), I decided to pay extra and go for an authorised dealership. I can tell you that this was the best decision I have ever made when getting a car.

The first point of contact was Sam who not only cared about my unusual situation (not having a proper residence) but also kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. His professionalism was complemented by his friendly personality, and could not be happier with his quality of service and expertise throughout the process.

Kevin was the second contact (dealing with the actual finance stage). This guy was not only friendly, but he helped the wife and myself find the specific car that we wanted. The first car we saw was rejected by my wife simply because she did not like the felt finish inside (what can you do eh?), but Kevin found a much better vehicle for us (a Suzuki Vitara Automatic Grey/Black). Furthermore, he was able to keep the car within our budget as well as provided us with three years warranty.

Our finance nearly fell through because of my living situation, but this is when Jeff stepped up and spent his entire day contacting the bank to figure out what was going on. To my surprise, he got the finance approved, and we walked away with the car the next day.

During the sale of this car, you cannot point your finger at one person and say "this is the reason why I got the car". Every single member of staff at Richmond Motor Group played a key role in the sale of the Vitara and have never had such a good experience with buying a car.

To finalise, I feel like a valued customer who has now purchased their service package for the next few years. Sure, I could save a hundred pounds and get my car serviced elsewhere, but honestly, I don't want anyone touching my car except for these guys, and quite frankly, I'd pay extra just to talk to these guys again.

If you want a car, always go authorised dealership. If you want a quality service, go for Richmond Motor Group.

Initially enquired about a car out of hours, Sadie phoned the following morning and was able to arrange a viewing and test drive with the car in a matter of days. Contact throughout was no problem, there was no pushy sales pitch and we felt comfortable throughout the sales process. Everything was explained in full to us and nothing seemed to much trouble for the team. We part exchanged our car and everything ran smoothly throughout.
