I took a flight from London to Riyadh with RJ with a layover at Amman Airport. Since I frequently fly Saudia, Qatar Airways or KLM, I have some experience on this route. RJ was a disgrace. I will never choose this airline again. It’s simply a matter of unprofessional cabin staff and bad service. It started with messed up boarding procedures, cabin staff who I showed my business boarding pass sent me to economy. Only after I told them this was the wrong seat they showed me to my business class seat. The onboard service remained unprofessional. No drinks, after a long time an orange juice. Don’t expect fresh juice. Food was underwhelming. Business class was full of economy passengers visiting their family members all the time during flight standing the whole flight making this rather a gathering space than a cabin for a calm long haul flight. Cabin crew never managed any of this. Crew not aware of procedures, passengers walking down the isles until short before landing. Crew sitting down less than a minute before landing. Bad role models for anyone. Seems that these people were never properly trained. Good thing: fare was comparable good vs KLM. QA and Saudia. Seats and entertainment were also good but you can’t really enjoy or sleep when you le cabin is a gathering space for passengers, kids and toddlers. I heavily advise against flying with Royal Jordanian. No comments on the short flight from Amman to Riyadh since it was short and on time. The leg from London to Amman was a real bad experience which I will never forget.

Bagagli non ricevuti al Cairo ieri. Al volo che è arrivato ieri alle 2:15. Ho una urgenza di ricevere questi bagagli il prima possibile visto che ci sono dei regali e delle cose che mi servono immediatamente. Inoltre ci sono delle cose che si rovinano fuori il frigo.
Aspetto da parte vostra qualche novità.

So bad the server food nasty food at the behaving and after 10 hours flying the gave us small sandwich all at the flight got hungry they are so bad I don’t recommend

They lost my bag on a direct flight from London to Amman. Managed to complete the claim, they say their insurance will contact me to settle but this was 3 months ago! No reply, no contact. I added 2nd star because at least they didn't cancel my return flight during the start of the war🙏

Please avoid this airline.

I booked flights through Booking.com with Royal Jordanian to travel to Dubai with my three grandchildren for the 2026 Easter holiday. The booking was made in late 2025.

As the travel date approached, the crisis in the Middle East escalated. Flights were being cancelled, and British citizens were advised against travelling to certain areas. By 28 March 2026, the situation was still ongoing, and we had no choice but to cancel our trip for safety reasons.

Royal Jordanian accepted the cancellation and confirmed that I would receive a full refund. However, as of 15 May 2026, I have still not received any refund. It has also been extremely difficult to contact them or get any meaningful response.

Very disappointing experience, especially when travelling with children and during such difficult circumstances.

J'ai voyage avec mon fils le voyage organisé par un agence en Belgique le problème il a un escale à amane en Jordanie les personnes qui contrôle les petites valises traite mal les gents en plus l´avion est en retard par contre en arabie saoudie les employés sont respectueux et serviables je préfère de ne pas vivre cette expérience

Have you ever heard of 1 hour delay because one of the passengers didn’t like their seat??? Yes it happened today and instead of dealing with it professionally and firmly, they kept appeasing the passenger as she threw a tantrum. Flight was from Dallas fortworth to amman on May 11 2026

Never book with them cancel the flight and don't send me money back ,and I make claim with my to sorted out

App is buggy, unable to login, change password! Website seems to have same problem! Best to book flight via a trusted vendor to have access to your information!

In light of so many other airlines having flight cancelations in and out of Amman in the Spring of 2026; I have chosen to use Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ), as I know they will be the last to cancel a flight. Also, I have flown them enough to now have 'silver jay status' as a frequent flyer.

However, in trying to get information; both online and in calling support locally in Amman; I can't find my answer. The automated call center does't give me an option to talk to a representative, and none of the options I have to select do not relate to my issue. So, I am stuck. It's not worth the hassle trying to get the help I need. Therefore, once other airlines are consistently operating again, I will stop using RJ.

A la suite d'un manquement de la part de notre tour opérateur (non paiement du billet) nous nous sommes retrouvés au comptoir de Royal Jordanian a tenter de joindre ledit tour opérateur durant plus de deux heures. Nous avons été remarquablement assistés par les hôtesses au sol. De même, dans l'avion, à la suite du stress occasionné par ce manquement du tour opérateur, ma compagne a fait un malaise. Le personnel navigant a été à la hauteur, proposant diverses boissons et mettant à notre disposition une bouteille d'oxygène et un masque.

I’ve traveled to over 60 countries, and Royal Jordanian was the first airline where I had various items stolen from my suitcase. This is absolutely appalling!

They cancelled my flight and refunded with just 50% of the ticket money after 1 month of waiting. I Do not recommend them at all.

I had a very disappointing experience with Royal Jordanian Airlines.
My luggage was delayed for several days, causing major inconvenience. When it finally arrived, it was damaged, clearly tampered with, and missing items. I even found a Fanta bottle inside my suitcase that does not belong to me, which proves it had been opened by someone.
On top of that, my luggage was lighter by more than 7kg, confirming that items were removed. This is extremely serious and unacceptable.
What made things worse was the response I received — simply stating that they do not open baggage, without taking any responsibility or properly investigating what happened.
This was my first and will be my last time flying with Royal Jordanian Airlines. I expected professionalism and security, but instead experienced stress, loss, and poor customer service.
I strongly advise others to be cautious, especially when checking in valuable items.

Ho volato recentemente con Royal Jordanian e sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla qualità del servizio.
Il personale di bordo: Molto professionale, accogliente e sempre disponibile. Si respira la tipica ospitalità giordana sin dal momento dell'imbarco.Comfort e Pulizia: L'aeromobile (un Dreamliner sulla tratta lunga) era moderno e ben tenuto. Lo spazio per le gambe in Economy è superiore alla media di molte altre compagnie europee.Catering: Il cibo è stato uno degli highlight del viaggio. Pasti gustosi, caldi e con opzioni che riflettono bene la cucina locale. Anche la selezione di bevande è ottima.Puntualità: Entrambi i voli sono partiti e arrivati in perfetto orario, e le procedure di transito ad Amman sono state rapide e senza stress.
Vorrei anche ringraziare il dipartimento italiano per l assistenza e la disponibilità.
