An excellent comfortable ride
This is my third folding exercise bike over the years and is definitely my favourite. I spend upwards of two hours a day on it, so the comfortable seat is very important. It feels really well made, more sturdy than the other two, is virtually silent and a very smooth ride.

Great product

Bike broken within 4 years - E2 error code
I bought a Roger Black Gold exercise bike in mid-2020 which has been well looked after and moderately used. After just 3/4 years the bike now displays en E2 error message and has no resistance at all so is useless.
In contacting Roger Black customer service they automatically forward it on to a 3rd party gym equipment repair company with no comment at all, so customer service is non existent.
I have quoted £140 for a part and engineer, which they want to proceed with the charge under the premise they cannot guarantee it will work.
I would avoid this poor quality machine and brand.

Thank you for your review. Please be advised that your Roger Black Fitness machine was manufactured exclusively by Argos. The range was manufactured and sold exclusively by Argos up until 2021.
The third party you will have been referred to is the designated and highly reputable third party who handles Argos enquiries as the range is no longer made. Roger Black Fitness is unable to assist with Argos-manufactured machine enquiries.
Unfortunately, with out of Warranty machines, this is perhaps what is available via most third parties unless you can source a solution online.

Having given a previous review of 3 stars for recent purchase of a folding bike which was due to the delivery couriers poor performance, Roger Black immediately refunded the £20 delivery charge, without even being asked. Given this action and that the folding exercise bike is an excellent product I'm now happy to give 5 stars and can highly recommend them.
