Radiators are very good only to be severely let down by their after sales, technical department and their latest app.
So much so i among other are seeking legal advice due to being advised to move to it only to incur countless problems causing loss of functionality which is ongoing and costing financial loss!
This company has been reported repeatedly by many to Trading Standards Uk.

Simply check their reviews App Store and make you own judgement before buying!

Great Radiators but Fiddly Control Buttons

We have 8 Rointe radiators and 2 Rointe heated towel rails warming our house. We have no mains gas where we live so electric is our only option (don't like oil or stored gas). The Rointe heaters are efficient but expensive to run - though not as dear to run as the night storage and Dimplex heaters they replaced. The worst bit of all on the Rointe is the silly buttons on the control panel. Small, fiddly, and frustrating to use manually. Their operation is the 'achillies heel' of what is overwise a great radiator. Hence 3 stars.

In my last review of Rointe you mentioned to contact customer service. I did and they flatly refused to help.
So I repeat my claim that your product was not fit for purpose, did not last a reasonable time, did not work as promised, is expensive to run and your 'new' app is awful.

Pire erreur d avoir acheté les…

Pire erreur d avoir acheté les radiateurs sygma à inertie fluide de rointe. L utilisation est une usine à gaz. La notice d emploi n explique pas clairement le fonctionnement Qd je mets à 15 en manuel , c est bouillant alors qu il fait 19 ds la pièce.
Impossible d accéder aux symboles confort, fenêtres qui s affichent en permanence sur l écran. Qd au SAV des messages en espagnol alors qu ils vendent en France ! Alors je vous déconseille vivement d acheter

Storage heater blues

I’m adding the next instalment of my experiences regarding a storage heater that I bought and paid handsomely to instal.
The digital screen isn’t working apparently a known bug which despite being easily fixed from their side prior to shipping isn’t fixed so customers all receive a faulty product and if their digital screen isn’t working or Wi-Fi not working they have to go through hoops to get as far as replacement product, delivered by palette on the curb side again.
So you have to pay all over again for the instal and removal of their bad product. ‘Guarantee doesn’t include installation.’
Forget it. I wont be buying a Rionte again.

They have just written a ‘sweet’ reply below inviting me to contact them. So at least they aren’t trying to deny shipping out faulty storage heaters. It’s not as if we aren’t contacting each other - I have contacted them but they are not disposed to help. They are knowingly (and not denying it) selling faulty storage heaters which can’t be tested by customers till installed and once installed they are not disposed to deinstall their faulty product nor to reinstall a new one - they are willing to cub side delivery another (faulty) version I will give them that much.

Repeated Failures and Significant Delivery Delays

We have installed multiple Rointe D Series radiators across our residential properties and have spent several thousand pounds with the brand.

Unfortunately, reliability has been a recurring issue. Almost every unit we have purchased has required repair or replacement parts at some stage, both during and after the warranty period. Most recently, two control panels failed in separate properties just one month outside the two-year warranty.

We paid for a replacement control panel on 2 February and were advised delivery would be 2–3 business days. In reality, it took four weeks and required repeated chasing. We were given changing explanations (stock allocation, customs delays, “arriving tomorrow”), and were later informed that Rointe were in the middle of a warehouse move — something that would presumably have been known when the original delivery timeframe was provided.

While support staff were polite, communication was reactive rather than proactive, and the delay held up works on site.

Based on our experience across multiple installations, we have ongoing concerns regarding long-term product reliability and aftersales support. Going forward, we will be reviewing alternative brands with a stronger track record for durability and consistency.

Five months later – still no solution



We purchased 19 Rointe Kyros radiators for our guesthouse in Dublin based on specific functionality that was clearly represented to us at the point of sale.

We were told the system would allow:

Centralised schedule and temperature control

A time-limited “Boost” function for guests

Automatic reversion to preset schedules after Boost

Suitability for hospitality / guesthouse use

This functionality was a deciding factor in spending over €10,000 including installation.

After installation, it became clear that the promised Boost-with-automatic-reversion feature does not exist. The system forces us to choose between locking controls (leading to guest complaints about cold rooms) or allowing unlimited manual override (causing loss of control and excessive energy usage).

We have now been attempting to resolve this issue for over five months. We have dealt with multiple representatives, experienced repeated non-responses, and missed commitments to provide solutions. Even senior management confirmed they would revert with a proposal — and failed to follow up.

The most disappointing aspect is not just the product issue, but the handling of it. There has been no clear timeline, no concrete solution, and no meaningful accountability.

As a business owner, I expect professional follow-through when significant commercial investments are involved. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience.

I sincerely hope Rointe improves both product transparency and customer service processes for future clients.

In november 2025 onze 3e Rointe design aangeschaft.

In november 2025 hebben wij onze derde Rointe radiator gekocht bij de Energiezuinigheidswinkel Rotterdam, en opnieuw zijn we daar uitstekend geholpen door Ronald Abrahamsz. Dit keer kozen we voor de designer Palaos, terwijl onze eerdere radiatoren de zwaardere D-series waren.
Wij gebruiken deze radiatoren in ons grotere huis als ondersteuning van de verwarming en als slimmer en voordeliger alternatief om de gasgestookte CV-installatie minder hard te laten werken. De kwaliteit is uitstekend en ook de bediening via de Nexa-app werkt prima.
Wat ik wel echt jammer vind, is dat Rointe nog geen integratie biedt met Homey Pro (een smart home controller waarmee je vrijwel alles in huis centraal kunt aansturen). Daarvoor zou Rointe een API beschikbaar moeten stellen.
Ik heb dit inmiddels meerdere keren nagevraagd via de website van Rointe en ook via de Nexa-app, maar helaas nog nooit een reactie ontvangen over óf dit ontwikkeld gaat worden en zo ja, wanneer.
Dat vind ik een gemiste kans, want smart home integratie wordt steeds belangrijker. Bij ons worden inmiddels alle lampen, CV, camera’s, zonnepanelen, batterij, openhaard, keukenapparatuur, audio en TV en andere systemen allemaal centraal aangestuurd via Homey Pro. Producten die daarin niet kunnen meedoen, gaan op termijn simpelweg achterlopen.
Kortom: topproduct en topservice bij de winkel, maar ik hoop dat Rointe snel serieus werk maakt van een Homey-integratie en hierover ook duidelijk communiceert.

Great products and customer service

I’ve purchased multiple heating products from Rointe and they have all been excellent. The quality and design are very good, and they’re extremely efficient. The smart radiators work really well, and the app is well thought out and easy to use.

What really stands out, though, is the customer service, the best I’ve experienced. Customer support are quick to respond, very knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.

AVOID like plague

Back after giving Rointe 2 months to respond. The control panel broke and they said they can 'send a replacement' - IF I PAY £300!!! Why would I pay £300 for something that is going to break again in a couple of years - you must be insane. When saying this, ROINTE said "Well electrical things break with time..." Deplorable.
I wrote to Head Offices in Spain and UK and heard nothing back. Reported to Trading Standards who have now been well-versed in their poor conduct and after-sales so are on the 'naughty-list'. Waste of money.

Not built to last - AVOID

Rointe heaters are all style and no substance. We’ve had multiple failures, particularly the control panels. For a supposedly premium product, the reliability is frankly poor.

Once you’re out of warranty, Rointe show zero interest in helping — no goodwill, no accountability, just a flat refusal. you will quickly realise you’re throwing money at a system that isn’t built to last.

Avoid Rointe unless you enjoy wasting money on fragile electronics and replacements. We won’t be buying from them again. AVOID, take me word for it

Si je suis très content des nouveaux chauffages installés (10 !), je suis dubitatif quant au SAV. Suite à un souci répétitif (ER.03) avec le sèche-serviette (qui aurait été à chaque fois résolu à distance dixit mon électricien/placeur), je n'ai reçu aucune réponse à mon mail au SAV du 19/12 + rappel 29/12 + rappel via formulaire web 19/01... Je pourrais les contacter par phone mais dans ce cas cela me coutera une communication internationale car origine Belgique... Je suis donc très dubitatif quant au SAV !...

I’ll start with the positives:

I’ll start with the positives:
They warm up very quickly
Quite cost effective to run (if on a decent tariff and turn off open window detection)
Their customer service team reply quickly

Negatives and reasoning for 2 stars:
We ordered 6 radiators (2x 1800w, 3x 1200w and 1x600w), of the ones we received only the 1800w and 600w work. The 1200’s are making a horrific high frequency noise which Rointe (fair play) have sent replacements for but the replacements are doing the same. For a product quite highly rated its very disappointing especially in the middle of winter when they are our main form of heating… I think Rointe quality control needs improvement.

My other complaint is the app is awful, slow and laggy. I attempted to pair radiators and wouldn’t work and in the end (after being told it was our wifi), Rointe released a bug fix on the app store. Can only pair the radiators that actually work though unless I want to be left with tinnitus.

Quel service ! Bravo

Je souhaitais prendre un moment pour remercier tout particulièrement Chrystel S du Service Commercial. pour son aide précieuse et sa grande gentillesse lors de notre échange téléphonique.
J’étais très angoissé à l’idée d’avoir reçu un radiateur électrique défectueux.
Chrystel a su me rassurer immédiatement, a pris le temps de m’expliquer clairement la procédure de renvoi du produit vers le SAV, et m’a confirmé sans hésitation que celui-ci serait remplacé directement.
Son écoute, son professionnalisme et son sens du service ont fait toute la différence.
Comme quoi, investir dans l’humain reste aujourd’hui indispensable, contrairement à certaines sociétés qui font exclusivement appel à des intelligences artificielles donnant des réponses approximatives et impersonnelles.
Je ne manquerai pas de laisser également un avis positif sur Google afin de partager cette excellente expérience.
Je vous souhaite une excellente année 2026 et vous remercie encore pour la qualité de votre service.

En el punto donde estaba el equipo ni tengo, ni quiero conexión a internet 🫣 y tras contactar con el servicio Técnico, José lo intento , José me tuteló, pero fui incapaz, al final no sé solucionó , pero no fue nada más que por mi culpa. Rointe complaint update

Further to my recent reviews regarding Rointe radiators, I still have not heard back from the head of technical support who was supposed to follow up on issues that I raised. This was months ago and still no response. Absolutely appalling customer service. I've now decided to stop using my two Rointe Kyros Radiators, 1800 and 1200 watts as they cost a fortune to run. I will just use my 2 bar halogen 1000 watt heater instead to save money. Don't waste your money buying Rointe electric radiators as they are a waste of money!!
