I did't find this site any useful at all. I understand the Covid-19 has hit rental market a lot, what I don't understand is why is so expensive to advertise here to contact someone.
Lower the price on these tough times and we will come come back to advertise our Rooms/Flat/House.
Gumtree is totally Free to advertise and contact.
SpareRoom charges but is cheaper so I decided to pay SpareRoom £19.99 for 28 days and within 7 days I found someone. Then I froze the Advertisement and next time I can use again these 21 days left.
is a paid service to contact but not that expensive and still can use remaining days.

Pointless website unless you pay the over priced premium upgrade thing, which is more expensive than other websites... and lucky I didn't after looking at the rest of the reviews.

No one is on premium, so if you do find anyone who is you can expect that everyone using the platform will be contacting them. Premium is the only way this is useful, which is overpriced. Showing interest basically leaves you with nothing to show as two basic members can't speak with one another. It is still a very flawed system they have here and need to review it if they want people to have a decent user experience. One very poor business model.

Are there real people on this site?
I used Roomgo to post an ad of my flat and paid for an upgraded membership. I didnât receive a single response in 2 months which seemed odd, I received several responses on the other website I posted on. There seem to be a lot of faceless profiles on this site and I canât help but wonder whether they are real people.
I appreciate Roomgoâs response and good to hear that the profiles are managed in that way. Iâm no longer using the site as I have found a suitable tenant elsewhere.

Complete rip off !
Really disappointed and feel thoroughly ripped off ! Advertised a room in the most stunning apartment in Manchester at an excellent price and had just two people contact me (both couples when I specifically requested no couples)
In two weeks there were only a handful of people who were new and looking for a property.
As a result I didnât find anybody to rent my room - instead I advertised on a local Facebook group for free and was inundated with people ! Found somebody within 2 days
Donât waste your money on this site.

I have used this site when it was Easyroommate and it was the only one of it's kind then, If you did not get a good response after a month you would get the following month for free which helped to get a lodger,
Possibly as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and due to more competition. Roomgo is a less successful platform to use than others and I will be less inclined to use it in the future!

Um, I payed for premium and it's like a ghost town. There is literally no one available. I searched rooms in ten different cities and it came up blank. This is a scam. Roomgo, I'll edit my review if the issue is fixed or I get my money back.
