The CO7B carbon monoxide alarm was delivered in good nick and has been working since installation. I would have given it a 5 star rating but I am not happy because the manufactured date is June 2024. This means that the alarm is going to last 6 and half years instead of 7 years as advertised.

Bought the Firehawk FHB10W from safe fire direct due to the crazy MSP of the Scottish parliament who decided that everyone should have so many alarms in your home that the sound could cause deafness to the average dog a mile away 🙄, anyway bought these as they were simple install and excellent connectivity, unfortunately less than two years into the alleged 10 year life span the alarms started going off for no apparent reason, almost blew the windows out, reset and they went off again and again, contacted safe fire direct as they are under guarantee (allegedly), I was told to hover the alarms or return the faulty one ? Whine is the faulty one ? They all go off at once as they are connected, so you have no idea what one is faulty or if they are all faulty?, absolutely no help whatsoever, explained that this is basically a new item and needs replacing, nope ! Just hover it or reset them all
, did this took them all down cleaning and resetting them all, smoke and heat detector, and wooo nothing they went off again and continue to do so,
Safe fire direct seem to have washed their hands of their alarms once sold, thought I was buying safety from a good retailer, not working out that way not happy at all with safe fire directs customers service.
Made another attempt today to convince them they need to do something with these alarms, let’s see what they do this time 🙄

Information sent and email requesting I contact the manufacturer, did that and guess what ? That’s tell me to contact the supplier 🙄 piggy in the middle 🫣

Were able to supply a multipurpose ( All fires) fire extinguisher and all relevant fire exit and assembly point etc notices required as a result of a fire risk assessment for a furnished holiday let. All at a very reasonable prices. Well pleased.

I’ve used this company before in relation to Scottish Government compliant interlinked smoke and heat alarms. On this occasion I ordered them for my daughter’s new flat. Similarly to last time, the website was clear and easy to navigate, the products (Firehawk) were available at reasonable price. They were dispatched promptly and delivered quickly.
