Dealing with Mitch and Shannon made all the difference to me booking the cruise. Firstly, they saved me around £500 less than booking direct and then this was augmented by £200 on board spending. Secondly with £200pp extra to fly from Bristol and another £170 extra overnight costs, Seascanner were able to get me all flight details from Gatwick where costs were £200 so another £370 saving. The cruise line should say what time their flights are (and if there are more than one which the passengers would like) but they don’t. So in essence Seascanner saved me a lot of money and also the flights I needed both to and from the cruise-thank you!

I booked a cruise with Seascanner under their £1 per person deposit promotion. Only £1pp was paid. When I later found a significantly better cabin with another agent for almost the same price (plus onboard credit), I contacted Seascanner to either match the offer or cancel the booking.
This is where the problems began.
Seascanner insisted I must pay a £50pp “Princess Cruises cancellation fee”, even though Princess Cruises confirmed directly to me that no cruise line penalty applies at this stage. The fee is entirely Seascanner’s own, yet they repeatedly misrepresented it as a cruise line requirement.
They also tried to rely on the fact that I “ticked the terms and conditions box”, ignoring that under UK consumer law, a term can still be unfair even if a customer ticks a box. Charging £50pp when only £1pp was paid and when the cruise is almost a year away is completely disproportionate.
To make matters worse, Seascanner told me the booking had been cancelled but that I still had to pay the full £50pp fee, which makes no sense and feels like pressure rather than customer service - The cruise has not been cancelled!
Every reply I received avoided the key issue, repeated scripted lines, and failed to acknowledge the information provided by Princess. Instead of addressing the facts, they pushed the matter to their Finance Team to “collect payment” which felt like pressure rather than customer service.
I have now escalated the case to ABTA due to the inaccurate information and the unfair fee being charged.
Overall, this experience has been disappointing, frustrating, misleading, and far below the standard I expect from an ABTA registered agent.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious when booking under Seascanner’s “low deposit” promotions, as the cancellation terms are not what they appear.

If like us you are loyal MSC customers who get discounts through MSC Voyager Club membership BEWARE as these might not be honoured by Seascanner as you'd expect!
We booked our MSC cruise butdidn't get the discounts our Gold Voyager Club membership said we would 5% member and 5% early booking. When I queried this I was told that this was an "Exclusive Rate" which doesn't mean they are the only ones offering this, what they told me was this means it's a "Group Booking" but not what you and I understand a "Group Booking" is, where you book several places in one go, but that they have block booked places and as a result we don't get our membership discounts. How were we supposed to know that? They said it's explained in the T&Cs on another web site in VERY small print assuming that you know that "Exclusive Rate" means "Group Booking" in the first place which you probably don't as it's not explained in their advert at all. What a Con!
When I took this up with Seascanner they just gave me the above info. and said tough luck, no appology, no assurance they would make it clearer in the future just an unprofessional response offering to cancel our "Exclusive Rate" booking with loss of deposit and rebook at a higher rate, which came across as very flippant to say the least and we thought we could trust them as we've booked with MSC many times through them before.
So yes it's 4.7 stars if everything goes great but 0 stars if you are caught out by their underhand sales methods and poor Customer Service as is consistant throughout the 1 star reviews here on Trustpilot.
BEWARE you can't Trust Them!!!!
As expected their response shows they really do not understand their customers and why we would be upset not to get a benefit of our Voyager Club membership. All they had to do was include in their advert:
"Exclusive Rate*
* Our Exclusive Rate excludes any Voyager Club membership discounts as it is classed as a Group Booking under the MSC Terms and Conditions"
But they didn't and don't accept that they should have so as to be open and honest to loyal customers

We booked an MSC cruise, was surprised to find that we couldn’t book the drinks package at the same, and this had to be submitted as a request later? This seems a bit long winded. We were then given the wrong information and prices, so haven’t bothered with the drinks package.

I would highly recommend booking with Seascanner!
We booked our recent MSC cruise through them and they were not only competitively priced but the customer service was excellent.
All queries were responded to within 24 hours (they guarantee 72 hours) and they were happy to speak to us to ensure we were happy with our booking and understand how everything worked if needed.
We are going on a cruise this summer which has been booked through another agent, and we were so impressed with Seascanner, the rest of our travel party have booked through them.
Before booking your next cruise, I would definitely check out their website and if unsure contact them as they are always happy to help so that you are well informed and can book with confidence.

I spoke with Naomi about needing to change my booking after a mistake. She dealt with it no problem, and I had mentioned about travelling with family members who have also booked so she went out of her way to create a link between our bookings.
