The lady who helped me test the Janome 5060 and the Bernina 335 sewing machines was knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing i asked was too much trouble. The extras i ordered followed soon after. I would definitely go back. I purchased The Janome 5060 and I am thrilled with it.

The absolute best, the lady who demonstrated what is now my new overlocker was not just knowledgeable but kind and friendly. I ordered my overlocker and it was delivered the next day, because of the what can only be described as a lesson more than a demonstration i was using the machine in less than ten minutes out the box. Highly recommend this company.

The whole team is always super helpful. Ready to advise and assist with any queries. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I am so glad they are in my area. They have helped me on numerous occasions and at very short notice. Thank you all

Steve goes above and beyond. The threader on my Janome 720 pro hadn't worked for years. Twice, with another service they tried to fix it as they said it would be expensive to replace. Steve replaced the threader with a new one in minutes and charged far less for the item. Also sorted out my air threader Overlocker...taking the time to work out what the problem was. So very grateful. Both fixed and without needing to book. Very accommodating...would highly recommend.

The service I've received from Sewing Machine World is simply, stunningly, excellent and words cannot express just how highly I recommend them. I took in a machine which I genuinely expected to be declared 'dead on arrival', and it was resurrected, just for the cost of a service!! I'm emotionally attached to this particular machine,
and it means the world to me to have it back in full working order. Not only did they work that miracle, but when I ran into an issue using the machine, it was fixed on the spot. I am blown away by the level of expertise and service on offer.

This would be a 5 star company cross the board

Made ever so welcome when I went to view a machine before purchasing, had an issue with it just under a year later, popped along and was rectified so quickly (within the hour) to also be reassured that it was covered by warranty

My Brother machine arrived quickly and all as described. I wanted to support a local business rather than Amazon, and because they are registered with Brother as official suppliers and warranty repairers.

I was convinced that my sewing machine needed replacing as it kept breaking the thread

I ordered from a company I had never heard of before and was a bit dubious about doing that but I didn't need to worry as they were really good. They kept me informed of the progression of my order and it arrived very quickly with no problems

I purchased a Brother NV 1800Q back in May from Sewing World. I originally was going for the cheaper model as I have only been sewing since January 2025 but so glad i didn't. Its much easier to use with lots of extras that I thought I wouldn't use but I do. Today I went for my 1 hours free lesson on using the machine. The lady who gave me the lesson was called Rita. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and funny. I had 2 main questions to find out and she answered and showed me how to use it. She then took the time to go through everything from start to finish. I didn't realize there was so many other things it can do and i didn't know. I could not wait for the lesson to finish so i could get home to try them out. Highly recommend Rita for her knowledge and Sewing World for their help and expertise.
