This company is so easy to work with and offered a brilliant service from start to finish. Ordering was easy and I was kept up to date with delivery of our summer house. The summer house arrived on time and the two men delivering went over and above what was expected from them. Erection instructions were easy to follow and it looks perfect - it is like having an extra room on the house. I can highly recommend this company and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I recently purchased a sentry style small shed from Sheds and Shelters to replace one I purchased from them many years ago and am delighted with it. I needed shelves which they made and fitted perfectly. It was delivered expertly on the planned day. So all was good.

To say we are disappointed with Sheds & Shelters would be an understatement. Our experience started very positively in October 2023 with our meeting with Stuart going over the design for our bespoke gazebo with pent roof and ramp access for our disabled daughter. We paid fully up front as requested, maybe alarm bells should have rung then but we trusted them and had seen their amazing website and Facebook page. Dates were planned, then dates were postponed by them. It would have been good to have known the whole build would stretch over 3 days, and not 3 consecutive days, but dates weeks apart. Weeks of chasing to find out what was happening and no calls being returned by Stuart and very little contact by Angela. The customer service we received was almost non-existent, we were constantly left hanging and not knowing when they were coming back to finish the job. This all stretched out to March 2024 and finally our gazebo was finished. The workmanship was awful, when it rained the roof leaked, the posts were rough, not planed as promised, the painting showed brush marks, most of the screw holes had split the wood, and no touching up was attempted on installation, as they outsource their painting prior to installation. Over many weeks we sent photos to Stuart and Angela showing them the poor quality workmanship and they eventually agreed with us, though never once bothering to come out and take a look themselves, even though they were only a few miles away. The crew came out to fix the roof leaks, but the roof had already by that time started to dip as the roof timbers were not large enough. They eventually agreed the whole thing needed to come down and be rebuilt, we were relieved. By now it was June. Their crew came out and dismantled the lot (leaving the decking base) and a date was set for it to be rebuilt. They duly turned up (at lunchtime) with more damaged posts and this was the final straw. We told them we wanted a refund. We had been so patient and the whole experience had been so stressful we just wanted it to be over. In July we received a part refund, as we still had the decking base.
I really wish I could have left a positive review. I don’t understand how others have had such a different experience. Whilst all this was going on still photos of amazing gazebos and summer houses were being posted on their Facebook page, why didn’t ours look like that?

In my opinion, this company does not stand by its products and blames the customer for their defects.
They over-promise and under-deliver - in terms of both materials and build quality, and their advertising does not give an accurate reflection of what they deliver (or don't)

Look elsewhere for a shed.

Just had my third building delivered by this Company, (over a 17 year time period), great service, friendly staff. Office staff were also helpful and although I had quite a few questions during the ordering process nothing was too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending Sheds and Shelters. Still waiting for the sunshine now to use my new garden room!!!

I ordered a 7m x 3.5m garden room with Bi-fild doors and was very happy with the result, from day 1 when Stuart came and measured to the end result when it was fully errected I couldn't be happier, I needed to delay the project a month and Sheds and Shelters were more then happy to accommodate, the customer service throughout and after was exceptional.

I have had a fantastic experience with sheds and shelters.
I had very specific requirements for my building and was able to liaise with them to create a building that fit perfectly into my garden. The whole process was great and staff were extremely helpful throughout. Staff erected the building efficiently and it looks fantastic.
They were also really helpful after the building shad been installed at answering any questions I had on aftercare and maintenance.
I really can’t fault my experience and I will definitely go back to them in the future for any other garden buildings. I highly recommend them.

Sheds and Shelters, Cowboys without horses or any means of support, a bit like the building they did for me.
This is what MY Chartered Surveyor said, I quote;
The structure is not fit for purpose and has not been constructed in a manner expected of a competent contractor.
I have since claimed my money back and have charged them costs amounting to nearly £2000.
So be warned do not support this awful company.
After my first review Stuart actually phoned me for the first time, only to try to blame me for not signing off a building that I had carefully watched his staff erect on the last day of fitting ( I was working all day in the garage next to where the studio was being erected and spoke to them many times that day and saw that it only had 3 walls and was totally unsafe.)
When he phoned I did point out that 33% of customers on this site were complaining and it is very strange that all of a sudden on the same day several people have given good reviews all starting with the same sentence.
I REPEAT do not get involved with this incompetent company.
Stuart has failed to respond to this survey and carries on as if this 3 sided building with the roof supported by a 3" x 2" piece of wood is the norm. How can he say that his company are qualified and competent.
The answer Stuart has given below only shows how oblivious he is to excellence and quality service.
My surveyor condemned the building outright as unsafe and noted that correct building regulations had not been followed and even one of the windows had been fitted upside down ?

The answer below is sent out to everyone nothing personal about it and full of lies They never contacted me to resolve this matter, they ignored letters from my chartered surveyor. WARNING....IF YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY PAY BY CREDIT CARD THAT IS HOW i GOT MY £8000 PLUS £2000 COSTS BACK. They are lucky I did not take legal action, but then it is not too late now.

Recently had a garden room installed. I couldn’t be happier, all went to plan which was impressive as my wife kept changing her mind. Stuart and team were very patient and understanding. Many thanks again really happy customer
