We recently had a level 3 survey for a property we wanted to purchase. The report was very thorough and also very easy to understand the problems with the house at the present and potential costs.

I recently instructed Ed Treliving of Sheffords to undertake a Level 3 survey on a property on which I had made an offer.
Ed’s knowledgeable and professional manner during the initial call to discuss the property made me feel that with Sheffords, I was in a safe pair of hands and that my interests as a buyer would be well-looked after.
Although the property lacked direct rear access, Ed reassured me that this aspect of the property would be included in the report which helped take some of the stress out of the conveyancing process. The reports’ findings were thorough and clear which allowed me to make an informed decision as to whether I wished to proceed further.

During 2022 I searched for a small retirement dwelling to purchase in the Sevenoaks area. I viewed a number of houses for sale and employed Louisa McAllister, Sheffords Chartered Surveyors, Sevenoaks who provided clear and very useful reports on their condition. As a result I avoided houses which had faults not obvious to me and finally, on Louisa’s recommendation I purchased my present home.

I cannot express enough how brilliant Jeremy and the team at Sheffords have been with their services. From start to finish Sheffords have been just wonderful. Ed did our survey and was incredibly thorough. He uncovered several things that the previous buyer was very fustrated about because his surveyor (who had done theirs only a couple of years previously) never spotted.
