Maybe okay for Thai citizens, but a dreadful experience for foreigners. There is no customer support in English language - unlike Lazada.

That is a terrible online shop. They do not care about customers only about quick sale. And it is getting worse with their AI "service". They get more and more disconnected from the people.

I ordered different products and the shops do not deliver quickly, Shopee system cancels the order. I ordered again and after a few days it was canceled again. I tried it 8 times to see how far it goes but then I got tired of it.

Once I asked the service agent why they do that because I need the product. The answer was, I should buy from another seller. When I asked them why they have those shops what causes trouble to their customers, no answer.

Another product was not useable, so I sent it back like it was described in the app. But the parcel came back to me and the product was not refunded although the cancellation rules allowed to send it back when doesn't like. I contacted the service and only got answers days after with always new questions of information I had sent before already. After a certain time they closed the case with the reason that the complaining period is overdue. That is unbelievable.

Can't download the app with an international phone and you can't order on the website.

Having used Lazada happily for many years a merchant convinced me to purchase a large bundle of items on their shopee store instead. They stated that it was easier for them to adjust the price in shopee as I had requested to swap out one item in the bundle for another product that they sold.

I found the merchant's shopee store, added the items that I wanted, registered my card and paid. Within an hour, shopee cancelled my order, stating that the vouchers I had used could not be used together and violated their T&C's, leaving me over 35000 baht out of pocket for up to 2 months while they process the refund. This is unacceptable since their system automatically applied the vouchers at checkout.

I buy a lot of products from Shopee.th, but consumers must be aware that, if something goes wrong, and it does at times go wrong, then you are on your own.

Recently I received a partial order from Robert Bosch Thailand (ORDER ID. 2509105ND8CYEA).

This is the most idiotic online shopping service I have ever experienced:
1. Shopee won't allow you to download the Shopee app from the Apple store unless your account is located in the exact region served by Shopee.
I am an expat living in Thailand, my Apple account is registered in my country of origin, and I cannot download the Shopee app because it is geofenced (but I can download the Lazada app).
2. In case something goes wrong, you can only contact Shopee using the app. And if you are not allowed to download the app, then you are out of luck.

I complained one year ago about this situation with the Shopee HQ in Singapore. They did not give a dime. Now I am really very close to stop using Shopee.

Regardless of Platinum status, they will show true colors as soon as they make a mistake. By then, you are nothing but a number in their system. No morals in this company.

I have been scammed by a seller on shopee and I sent all the information to Shopee and they have done nothing. This has been going on for months. Do not buy anything from this platform, they leave you open to being scammed and do nothing to help you.

Amazon wake up!!! Shoppe is the worst online seller I have ever been dealing with.
Returns are not working!
Reporting of counterfeit products are being ignored.

Amazon, wake up and take the $10 Billion Shopee business.
It will be like taking candy from a kid.

It is extremely frustrating that customers cannot properly contact Shopee customer service. This leaves sellers free to do whatever they want without accountability.

I have requested invoices multiple times and never received any. I am also still waiting for a refund for an item that was completely the wrong size. Even when I tried to reach a compromise by asking for at least a partial refund, the seller did not reply at all. I returned the item, and it was delivered back a long time ago, but I have received no refund.

Shopee really needs to improve their customer support system — buyers deserve a clear and reliable way to resolve these issues.

มันน่าหงุดหงิดมากที่ลูกค้าไม่สามารถติดต่อฝ่ายบริการลูกค้าของ Shopee ได้จริง ๆ ซึ่งทำให้ผู้ขายทำอะไรก็ได้ตามใจโดยไม่มีใครรับผิดชอบ

Shopee ควรปรับปรุงระบบบริการลูกค้าอย่างจริงจัง เพราะผู้ซื้อสมควรที่จะได้รับช่องทางที่ชัดเจนและเชื่อถือได้ในการแก้ไขปัญหาแบบนี้

Because I did not see my order on my order page I thought maybe the site was not legit so I ended up on this trustpilot page with only bad reviews. Because of all the bad reviews I thought I lost my money 1200 bath for a small smartphone. But to my suprise the phone was delivered 2 days after I ordered it. So I thought its only fair to write a good review.

Their website is a complete SCAM. Used the website twice. The first time in Vietnam I ordered a pair of sunglasses and they sent the incorrect product. They never replaced for the correct one nor will they refund you the money. IlSexond time I purchased in Thailand a TV stick, boxed arrived filled woth ants and it was completely useless. If you buy electronic products they won't work. They'll ask you to send the product back but never refund you the money. I spent a whole month going back and forth with customer service trying to get my money back, and they'll always come up with a different story and procedure for you to go through and you never get your refund.
Sellers and the website seem to be in it together.
DONT BUY FROM SHOPEE!!

J'ai utilisé shopee comme lazada et le constat est le même il faut payer à la réception après avoir ouvert le colis c'est la seule façon de vous protéger contre les livraisons jamais livrées, contrefaites ou défectueuses car même avec des preuves c'est très difficile d'être remboursé. J'ai fini par déposer plainte contre lazada après 15 jours de tergiversations.

มันไม่ใช่ “การจัดส่งล่าช้า” แต่มันคือ การเดินทางแบบไร้เหตุผลจากระบบอัลกอริธึมที่ไร้สมอง

อย่าไปโทษพนักงานส่งของเลยครับ พวกเขาคือเหยื่อในระบบที่ Shopee สร้างขึ้น — ต้องทำงานตามคำสั่งที่มาจากระบบอัตโนมัติที่ไม่มีหัวคิด ไม่ปรับตามสถานการณ์ ไม่เคยใช้สามัญสำนึก

Shopee Express (SPX) is, without exaggeration, the most incompetent and brainless logistics operation I’ve encountered in my entire life — worldwide. And I’ve ordered things across multiple continents. SPX takes the crown for sheer stupidity in operational design.

A recent order took 5 days just to be picked up — from a seller 5 kilometers away — and then spent another 5 days aimlessly hopping between sorting centers, repeatedly arriving and departing from the same station within 20 minutes, like a lost parcel trying to find meaning in life. It’s not delayed delivery — it’s algorithm-induced madness.

Their system isn’t just flawed — it’s a complete disgrace. A Frankenstein of automation with zero oversight, zero adaptability, and zero logic. And who pays the price? We, the customers, and the poor delivery staff, who are clearly victims of this broken system — forced to operate within rules designed by people who seem to have never shipped a parcel in their lives.

Lazada Express, Flash, Kerry — everyone else gets the job done. Shopee Express? It’s like watching logistics run by a blindfolded intern with a random number generator.

This isn’t just a bad service. It’s a warning sign of what happens when a company sacrifices quality, human decision-making, and accountability just to cut costs. Shopee should be ashamed.

If you see “SPX” on your order… brace yourself. Or better yet, don’t order.

I order some stuff with shopee and the pictures shows the original item but get another product that was similar but not same as in offer. Want to send back , but it is very ,very complicate to do so , they ask you for some resend Paperwork ( I not get this in the parcel.-..) and you must send (online) this "resend paperwork" with desktop omputer , with mobile phone it will not work,,, BE AWARE , use Lazada or cash at a local shop , this saves you money. even you pay a bit more , the return policy of shopee is useless , lazada is far more better in this matter , hey volks at shopee ,you may go to lazada to learn , how to do thrusted business.

Shopee und der Kundenservice ist eine Betrügerische Organisation, zuerst wird man beworben einen Online-Shop zu eröffnen und viele USDT ein zu zahlen, wenn es darum aber geht das Shopee eine Auszahlung machen soll, dann bekommt ihr nur antworten, wie, ihr sollt noch mehr einzahlen und es wird ihnen gedroht wenn man nicht zahlt.
Shopee ist eindeutig eine Betrügerische Organisation und begeht nur eine Straftat nach der anderen.

Allows vendors to see deceptive products. Picture show good product. Actual product is inferior. A scam technique.

Habitué de lazada j’ai utilisé shopee une fois et ce sera la dernière. Je commande un appareil qui arrive pas et le tracking est bloqué. Je demande l’annulation on me fait attendre 2 jours et le colis est déposé devant ma porte. Je les contacte pour dire que je n’en veux plus... et je dois attendre leur réponse... Pas sérieux du tout

Shopee are an absolute disgrace the worst customer service ever. I would strongly advise anyone not to use this platform. Lazada is 100 times better with 5 star customer services shopee just scammers who don't resolve problems or get buyers there money back.

I live in Thailand. I have an android phone that was purchased in Thailand yet I am unable to download shopee.th as it says it is not available in my area.
