The guys were on time, fast and reliable. There was no damage on my furniture and they had excellent customer service. I will definitely use Simply Moving again if I need to move in the future.

I read the Simply Moving reviews on YELP and they were great. So with no other way to know which company to use for a move, I secured this company. The cost was reasonable. The movers packed with no rhyme or reason to what they threw into each box. They were sloppy and got a lot of grease on my bed sheets (necessitating the purchase of a new set), and they damaged the bed frame and severely scratched another household item.

I got quotes from many movers, and these guys were the cheapest and the nicest. Very professional, arrived right on time, and everything done in 3 hours. Nothing was damaged or forgotten. Made my move so easy!

Simply moving initially stated fees for the move would be collected after the move was completed and can be paid either by check or credit card. I told their sales rep Jordan that I would be paying by check and i'll have someone meet the movers from our company once the move is completed.
Once the movers arrived, they demanded to be paid on the spot. After calling Jordan, he stated "You must pay the movers once the move is completed. They wont unload the items unless payment is received."
First of all, 'completed' means packed up and to unload everything.
Paying them wasn't the issue but having someone run to the bank and get a check before the agreed upon time was. After stating to Jordan the terms we agreed to he said "We need payment before the movers can pack anything up and that has always been the terms of our payment". So maybe he thought I was a different person than the one who has been speaking to him for the past two weeks but you can't say the terms were for the movers to be paid before they unload everything and then the terms are now for the movers to be paid before they even do any work. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS.
Regardless, that wasn't the only issue. Since I hired Simply moving for a job that involved moving our client's belongings we requested certificates of insurance. I communicated this to Jordan two weeks ago. He said "no problem! That's standard and we offer it to all of our customers. It can be done within 24hours." He provided me the information to the rep who handles the certificates. Marian sent one email stating what was needed to obtain the certificates. I sent Marian 5 emails before the move to please contact our comapny's CFO to obtain the right information. Marian didn't contact him and didn't respond to any emails. But today he would like for me to write a review.. and so I am. We had to go through with our move since we didn't have enough time to find anyone else.
Simply Movers is a great company if you'd like companies that change their terms and conditions to fit their financial needs and never hear back from when you actually need help.

Courteous, on time, careful and diligent. Made our move very easy.

We had a large move from Brooklyn to Jersey and the crew (Juan Carlos, Benito and Abel) were incredibly flexible, helpful, and courteous throughout the entire process. Would absolutely recommend.

My moving experience with Simply Moving was exceptional and drama free. The team arrived on time and moved my items with care and efficiency. An adjustment to my original estimate was carried out expeditiously. I could not have asked for a better experience. This was one less thing I had to worry about during a situation that could be extremely stressful. A big shout out to Walter, Washington, Salvador and Ernesto -- Moving superheroes in my book.

The team came on time, took the time to wrap up the beds, disassemble, and pad down everything before moving. They showed up promptly at the destination, I thought it'll be a few hours since they're having lunch but they just grab some food and eat in the trunk while driving over. Very good service and I would definitely use them again.

Carlos and Rock know how we felt. Carlos is the only one that apologized for the mess of a moving day we had.
- Not enough movers came
-the head mover had a crap attitude
- truck was too small
- called Rock in the morning and told him al this but since the head mover wanted to keep the tip money he went with him and didn't send anyone else until 1pm.
-The head mover couldn't speak English but that was who I needed to communicate with. ???
- damaged rental house door
- damaged and broke items
- left tape, candy wrapper, and water bottles all over new house driveway
- more movers came at the end of the day and they were even telling our original movers to MOVE IT and they were too slow and not working well.
- The final bill was $2,350 so we gave a 20% tip on that which is $470. The head mover told my husband they wanted $40 more. He left them to go to the bank since they would not leave until they got it. That is is over 20% on a job they didn't do well.
- Everyone acted like they were doing us a favor and helping us move. Even Rock acted like he had better places to be and we should just be happy with what we got.
- We both worked and moved with the movers all day. I never just relaxed and watched the move like Rock and Carlos told us we would do.
- Carlos is the only one that apologized and was professional.
- quick to charge us more money but slow to move us and be accountable for the poor job the movers did they subcontracted this job out to.

I did extensive research on moving companies and finally picked Simply Moving. So glad I did! They were amazing. They were on time and worked very efficiently. They wrapped and secured all of my furniture and took apart my IKEA bed. Everything arrived in the condition that it left my old apartment and nothing arrived broken! I would 100% use these movers again and recommend anyone else to use them as well! Great service!

Timely communication before the moving and preparation for COI to building management. Movers arrived on time, packed carefully and quickly, and delivered. Nick was very professional and also asked where to leave boxes and furniture. They made the moving less stressful. Highly recommended!

The movers from Simply Moving were great. They executed the move quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend them to others moving in NYC.

Very good service all around

I finally got to relax knowing that I didn't have to work hard to do a moving job. The work was done quickly and with a smile.
All personnel were respectful, helpful and approachable. I will always move with simply moving. They are my new team.

Like any moving company, you'll have some glitches - but the guys that came out did a nice job.

The guys were on time and very friendly. Treat them right and get right treatment in return. They got the job done fast and efficiently and didn't complain once about being in a 4th floor walk up! Would use again and recommend to others.
