Hallo Orlando,

Alles liebe!

Hi Karol,

we just officially claimed the profile with Trustpilot this month, so my apologies for the late reply here.

We found the transaction. The order was completed correctly, but the email address you have entered at checkout contained a typo, so the delivery email could not reach you. (kwarmo instead of kwarno)

Our colleague Dominik also replied to your support request within one hour to help resolve the issue.

So this wasn’t a case of paying and receiving nothing, just one misplaced letter sending the email in the wrong direction. I hope in the meantime you saw the email from Dominik but if not - please reach out to us via support@smashinglogo.com and you will get the account access.

Hi,

Could you confirm whether you downloaded the free trial version? Trial files are intentionally low-resolution and include a watermark. Every paid package includes high-resolution files.

If you purchased a package and received something different, we can check the order and help. Just get in touch with support@smashinglogo.com then. Thank you.

Hi Louise,

Just to clear this up: generating and previewing logos is free. You only pay if you choose to download the high-resolution files and commercial ownership rights.

We also don’t charge £190. Our packages start at £19.99, with the price shown clearly before purchase - so thankfully, no one is being ambushed by a mysterious £190 logo bill.

You’re absolutely free to decide it isn’t worth paying for. But “I didn’t want to buy it” and “I was charged £190” are two very different reviews.

Hi,

We’re sorry to read this, but the review contains no details and we haven’t been able to identify a matching order. If you made a purchase, please contact support with the order number or email used so we can investigate properly.

Hi Lorraine,

We’re sorry to hear that, although we couldn’t find any purchase under your name and the review doesn’t explain what actually went wrong.

If you did purchase from us, please send your order number or the email used at checkout and we’ll investigate. Otherwise, “waste of money” twice gives us a very clear opinion—but not much we can verify or resolve.

Hi Iris,

sorry to the big delay, we just claimed the Trustpilot profile officially and are now answering to all reviews.

A logo package includes the finished logo files - not the complete font family with every letter, number and symbol. Logo designers generally do not provide the actual font or its licence unless that is explicitly included as a separate deliverable, even though I understand that you might had a different expectation.

A screenshot may look similar on screen, but it doesn’t provide scalable files, transparent backgrounds, print-ready quality - or the commercial licence required to use the logo legally.

In other words: a screenshot captures the image. The package gives you the files and rights to use it.

Hi Jeffrey,

sorry to the big delay, we just claimed the Trustpilot profile officially and are now answering to all reviews.

We’re sorry the purchase didn’t meet your expectations. All paid packages include high-resolution files, and the price and package contents are shown before checkout.

We’d be happy to understand what seemed low-quality, as different file formats are intended for different uses. With a little more detail, our support team could have checked the files and helped find the right solution.

Hi Hienn,

You’re right - the free download includes a watermark. The free part is creating and previewing as many logos as you like; the paid part is receiving the unwatermarked, high-resolution files and commercial rights.

If the finished product were free as well, we’d have created a wonderfully generous business model, just not a particularly sustainable one.

Take all the time you need to design. You only pay when you find a logo worth keeping.

Hi,

Yes, a logo is made from text and shapes - just as a house is made from bricks and wood. The value is in the finished design, full ownership, commercial rights and high-resolution files.

More importantly, our packages start at $29.99, no package costs $200. Not liking the logo is completely fair. Inventing the price is not.

Hi Lico,

You can create and preview as many logos as you like for free, without signing up. Payment and an account are only required when you decide to download the finished logo with high-resolution files and commercial rights.

So yes: free to create, not free to take the finished product. A small distinction, perhaps - but an important one.

We hope the nausea passed once the difference became clear.
