The performers were awesome, as was the space (my favorite place, btw). Would have liked some snacks beyond popcorn, but that's a small nitpick. (Maybe invite folks to bring snacks to share. I sure would have!) Overall, the night was great. Can't wait for the next one.

Great line up, host, and location!

Incredible intimate venue. Very nicely hosted and a great bar service. All perfrmers were great. In particular, Rob Green was amazing.

Great artists, beautiful people, delicious wine, and lovely location.

The musicians were great, check-in took no time. The venue was lovely. We took our daughter and nephews (in their 20’s) and they LOVED it. Thank you for a memorable and wonderful evening.

Variety of music, great hosts who were super friendly and guest service oriented. For example ran out of chairs for guests, they went inside the venue and got more chairs

Good acts, good pizzas , good bar, what’s not to like.

Well organized, great concept (multiple artists matched with venues), I’m excited to join as an artist when I’m ready.
Venue was lovely!

The first performance began promisingly. The artist clearly possessed skill in rhythmic arm movements. However, the execution lacked connection with the music, making the performance feel disconnected rather than emotional.

Unfortunately, the second piece was the same arm flapping. The third piece introduced some much-needed movement involving the legs, which added a little more variety, but it was still insufficient to create a compelling dance performance.

The Q&A session, containing some excellent audience questions, ultimately exposed the fundamental weakness of the performance. The artist admitted that he simply improvised to music with which he was unfamiliar. That explanation was entirely consistent with what had just been presented: a performance that felt unprepared, poorly executed and lacking artistic direction. I have seen countless street performers whose skill, creativity and musicality far exceeded.

When asked what motivated him for the future, his response was simply, “To pay the rent.” The answer conveyed no artistic ambition, passion or aspiration. It reinforced my overall impression of a performance lacking professionalism, preparation and purpose.

The second performer could scarcely be described as dancing. Aside from a few repetitive arm windmill movements, there was little that resembled dance. The repeated changes of shoes added nothing of artistic value and instead became a distraction. Even stopping twice for a drink during what was only a ten-minute performance interrupted what little momentum there was.

I left before the final musical performance, so I cannot comment on it directly. However, the singing I had already heard earlier in the evening was, uncomfortable painful to listen to.

Overall, this was an utterly disappointing experience. While I would like to request a refund, I have little confidence that such a request would be honoured. Audiences attending are expecting quality and thoughtfully curated talent; this event fell well short of those expectations.

The venue was amazing and artist line up as well. Very well curated event.

The event I attended last night was absolutely fantastic from the field of the atmosphere to the great artist I got to see perform. My favorite act was Lena Jackson as she took my breath away with great production vocal quality and stage presence. I could really relate to her lyrics and that was the most enjoyable part. I also like the thought of the short panel discussion afterwards. I also like the artist Lindsey as she had very relatable lyrics as well. The hosts were very welcoming as well and I would love to continue following the So Far events.

The 2nd act in my opinion wasn't good enough. The 3rd act was pretty good but could have been better. Overall this was the weakest Sofar night I experienced among the 4 ones I went to (2 in NYC ages ago and 2 in Montreal)

Amazing line up.

Went to the singles night at Margaritaville in Times Square. Music was fire! The overall event was mildly disappointing. There were no icebreakers or anything of that nature for people to get to know each other. Just mingling with people. As a woman at my first singles night I was kind of expecting more organization and not the guys chatting up the guys in the corner. It just felt like another night at the bar nothing special.

The space was perfect.
