Went into Sofology Dundee last week purely for a nosey, fully intending to buy a sofa from the shop next door. Clearly the universe — and the Sofology staff — had other plans.
From the start, the two members of staff were absolute stars. Friendly, down-to-earth, and armed with top-tier banter. No pressure, no sales tactics, just good chat and the freedom to wander about pretending I wasn’t about to spend money.
Even after declaring that nothing had caught my eye (awkward), they took it in good humour and encouraged me to keep looking. And then — right as we were leaving — I spotted the sofa at the front of the store. Sat down, had a chat, and that was game over.
The sofa was better quality than the one I’d planned to buy elsewhere and over £200 cheaper. Naturally, I did the sensible thing and bought the sofa and an armchair.
What really sealed it was the customer service. The staff made the whole experience relaxed, fun, and genuinely enjoyable — it felt more like shopping with pals than being sold furniture.
Excellent service, great value, cracking furniture… and a reminder that “just popping in for a look” is never to be trusted. Highly recommend Sofology Dundee.
