With the working from home - I decided I needed a sit stand desk, once I had looked the offerings I realised I needed a top that was going to last not wear out. This was where I started looking for a real solid wood desk with no veener/MDF. Sit/Stand desktops were the answer. There website provided an easy way to order and bags of photos to look at. I put in my order - then wanted to change it - so one email later I was advised on the best options and the change went through easily - 48 hr cancellation possible. A few weeks later amother email arrived with possible delivery times, which was great keeping me informed. Then the day of the delivery and almost to the exact time a delivery van arrived. The Desk was well padded and protected - it looked amazing everything I wanted. Excellent quality and so unloaded by a friendly driver - who also offered to help carry to the room it was going to be used in- super customer support. Would highly recommend them as a place to buy from.

The ordering process was easy, I was able to order with the mounting points for my existing base in the wood, and the lead times were clear and accurate. The delivery was also on time and carried out by an amiable chap all too willing to help. And it looks excellent, as well as improving the functionality of my workspace by being the exact size I need.

Absolutely perfect desk, long wait times at the moment but only due to global supply issues with covid and war etc.

Fitted most of my desk legs without putting the legs on so it could be carried upstairs easily.

I ordered a complex custom shape surface to make a folding desk. Joe was really helpful in agreeing the best way to send over the design, and up front about the costs required to make it and the timeframes involved due to current shipping delays and shortages of materials.

The desk surface was delivered within the estimated timeframe and the finished product is really good - the shape is exactly as I wanted it and the quality of the finish is excellent.

Sit/Stand Desk Tops (SSDT) is an easy, affordable, and environmentally friendly way to get a custom desk!

I'm a short person, I needed a short yet stylish desk for my home office. 99% of retail "designer" desks are built to a "standard" height of 28-30 inches, which is uncomfortably tall for most women, while height appropriate desks are ugly and expensive. It's crazy that these "chic" desks are mostly bought by women but the height is for men, so women end up buying all kinds of ugly stuff like wrist pads, back supports, and foot rests which ruin the "chic" aesthetic. I sought a solution to all that and found SSDT!

After ordering a sample of wood with a particular stain, which was a touch expensive (but worth it), I ordered a custom tabletop from SSDT. Joe, from Customer Support, gave helpful, tailored advice. I then found some trendy - but most importantly short - table legs on Amazon and had them delivered directly to SSDT's workshop. As a complimentary service, SSDT attached the legs and hand delivered the table with minimal packaging.

I now have a fancy looking custom desk, spending around GBP 400 or less for the whole thing, and with much less neck, back, and leg pain! Thank you SSDT!

They were happy to accommodate some special requirements that I had for my table (in particular with detachable leg requirements) and overall were both very responsive in communication and the craft.

Delivery was great too - carrying a table that was probably about as heavy as I am up 6 flights of stairs. Some complications we had while bringing the table up are also on the way of being resolved. Overall very happy with the product and the service.

The desktop was perfect for my Fully desk. Joe and Wayne were so helpful throughout the whole process and kept me well-appraised of timescales despite UK-wide supply chain disruption. After it arrived, I noticed it had a very small crack in the wood, and they offered to come all the way to Manchester to patch it up, and it looks absolutely perfect now.

Excellent and honest service. Could not recommend more highly.

I wanted a Flexispot desk, but didn’t like the size and wood finish options available from the manufacturer. I came across Sit/Stand Desktops when searching for other options, and they made me a custom solid wood top that perfectly met my needs - wood type, size, finish and even a nice addition of a gentle curve on the corners of the desk. Fantastic quality, lovely company to deal with (nicely accommodating a small tweak after the initial order was placed) and I’m absolutely delighted with the end result. Thanks!

I ordered my desktop quite far in advance of new job role that is predominantly home working and the staff did a great job communicating any delays and order status bearing in mind Covid and wood shortages, delivery super flexible to suit me and the quality is top notch. 10/10 service.

Joe and Wayne provided me with an oak desktop of the highest quality and workmanship. The desktop is hard, strong, fits perfectly with my Ikea Idasen legs, and has a great colour and finish.

The customer service was also excellent — they really went above and beyond. I highly recommend both the company and their products.

What a great idea, a solid wood desktop on your own support, for a considerably lower cost than a complete desk of similar quality.

And I am very happy with my new desktop, it is a grey-finished Asian hardwood and it has the most beautiful grain. Very unusual and totally in keeping with the current trend for grey interiors. Although it would work well in many settings.

I have it stood on top of two filing cabinets with only non slip rug rubber mesh to keep it in place -it is solid and does not move at all.

Although there was the inevitable current delays in receiving my desktop, the communication was great and I was kept well informed of the progress of my order. Follow up was great too.

Excellent quality and great service. I'm very pleased with the desk top that I bought for my Ikea standing desk base. The holes in the desk top were perfectly placed and it took minutes to fit. Couldn't be happier.

After a long long wait (global shortage of wood) I received my order. Very happy with the quality of the items I have ordered and would use these guys again. Joe was very informative through the delays.

Despite a very patient wait for my oak desk, it was worth every moment of waiting. The workmanship is beautiful and it has fitted into the room exactly as I had hoped for. Personally delivered and excellent communication and prompt responses to my queries throughout. It’s been a tough year so well done for rising above it.

Really easy purchase process - but what stood out was after order care. I had to twice change the dimensions of my desk because of a mistake, then a decision to move it to another room because we have a baby on the way. Both times without any fuss the order was amended and we received partial refunds for the difference. Delivery was wonderful, made by a lovely lady who helped carry the desk into the house so my wife wasn't lifting anything.

Highly recommend - I'll 100% come back.
