This site deletes progress despite claiming it saved it properly. All I did was reload the page after it sped up and glitched for no reason.

Not recommended.

As of now, I lost 4 songs.

What I love about Sound-trap is the sound packs that it comes with as a paying customer and how easy it is to utilize. What I do not like is the fact that the published sound quality is far from the sound quality in the actual DAW making anything you create sound muffled and distorted in the final published project which is mainly bc it is so compressed that you have to double up on almost everything melody or drum wise or else it sounds super compressed and distorted and even then the sound quality still isn't professional therefore making your creative process almost pointless when your published version sounds trash compared to how it sounds in the actual DAW therefore it is a real trap.

I love this website and it's not a scam. It's inexpensive and works well, even on a free plan. The only thing I'd ask to change is that, when I finish a project and save + export it, that it actually exports the whole new file as it is. I was downloading my new project while already deleting the old files on my PC and because I moved & deleted stuff my exported filed showed up as incomplete. I believe that is unacceptable, what I do on my laptop is separate from the Soundtrap app, so I don't know why deleting files on my PC should influence my exports? It's really frustrating because due to this issue I have to restart my entire project. Please fix this nonsense. Thank you.

SCAM! I signed up for free trial and even though I cancelled it before it got taken off they charged me £177. I am now left with no money.

SOUNDTRAP is the most confusing piece of shit i have ever used. Also, it is very laggy and the sounds are low quality. DONT USE!

I see a lot of bad reviews but my experience was very different. Scotti from the support team helped me a ton & got me a refund within 48 hours. I got quick responses & everything went pretty smoothly. No BS & straight to the point. 👍

I was going to test something. but they require you to sign in. and then you need to pay them to checked out free features. No thanks

Terrible, corrupts data and when my teacher emailed them they said that there wasn't a problem, even though my work had clearly been merged into 3 seconds of sound in one audio channel.
This has massively hindered me in gaining my NAT5 music tech qualification even though there is "recover old project versions" button which actually made it worse, deleting half of the already corrupted audio, requiring me to start from scratch to fix this problem.

I don't care about if this hurts anyone's feelings, its not like they have any qualifications that they could have potentially lost to feel empathy for my situation, therefor I have no empathy in this review either.

I'm having the same issue they keep trying to bill me I already deleted it and canceled

they dont respond to messages and once you subscribe for the free trial, you cant cancel and they keep trying to charge your card. total scam, do not trust

*edit: eventually got response and they helped me cancel the subscription, however the fact that the loading screen always froze when i tried to unsubscribe, no matter the device or browser, felt weird. Glad the sub got cancelled in the end though

Actually for Independence day we are recording 2 song.But I end 1 song and just going to save it but within a sec it got deleted. I recorded this song with my friend for more than 2hrs and now it totaly deleted. Backup is not there in Soundtrap. Worst application!

Scammed subscription money out of me, don’t buy these pathetic loser’s product.

I wanted the free trial just for a weekend project and it still took my money after it has been cancelled.

DO NOT SIGN UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when you try to cancel the subscription the cancel button does not work. When you contact support they ask for your FULL credit card information! This company should be shut down for unethical illegal practice. I have the full recording of the chat with their support team asking for full credit card information expiry etc on chat.! and the recording of their system not allowing you to cancel the subscription.

A nebulous online racket, which hides a 14 day 'cooling off' period inside T&C with scant reference on the website - and behaves very furtively in chat, declining to identify the company or where it is based, pretending not to be able to issue refunds then changing its mind when pressed with hard legal reality

Aptly named 'sound *trap*' - Avoid - they offer a '1-year' membership which is in reality a never ending deduction.

The absence of a straightforward, functional pathway to cancel subscriptions is not only a blatant disregard for user autonomy but also dents the very essence of ethical business conduct. I implore you to reassess and reconstruct your subscription and cancellation processes, ensuring they uphold transparency and respect towards your user base.

I demand immediate attention to resolve this matter, the cessation of any future charges, and a full refund for the periods I have been unwittingly subscribed to your service.
