The Cookut spatula replaced
The spatula I bought with the Wonderful Cookut pan just snapped last year as I was cooking. I had bought it from Sous-Chef. I sent them a mail with pictures. This was a few months ago. They tried to have it replaced through Cookut etc. No success. But Sous-Chef did not just ignore me or quit! No they asked me if I would be happy with a replacement of one of their spatula. Checked it, nice quality etc. was very pleased and accepted. This was last Thursday night, it was sent to me on Friday and received it on the Saturday. Well!! What can I Say? But a big thank you to this great company. I love their products , attitude towards customers . Everything is the same with them. Caring, quality of products and they DO put customers first. Once again, Bravo Sous Chef. See you soon ;-)

Fantastic customer service
Bought a 24 piece dinner set ordered as individual items, I was able to choose a Sunday delivery free of charge and it arrived really carefully and thoroughly packaged. One of the bowls was missing (human error, it happens!) so I emailed them as soon as I noticed, not thinking I’d get a reply until Monday. I got an email back straight away and the replacement arrived less than 24 hours later. Really impressed with this company, and the plates are beautiful too! Will definitely order from them again.

Strongly recommended
I've bought from this site for a couple of years now, spending a little over £2k in total betwen 24 orders, including ingredients, cookware, tableware and snacks.
Quality is always extremely high, delivery swift and the customer service excellent. The stuff isn't cheap, but that's because they sell expensive stuff rather than because it's a rip-off - when I see the same items elsewhere it tends to be for a comparable price.
You can definitely buy from here with confidence.

Brilliant service and delivery
I wanted to buy a chef's press for my husband for Christmas, it was sold out everywhere in the UK. Sous Chef had a note on the website saying it hoped to have it back in stock by 18 Dec, so I signed up for an alert when it came back in.
It only became available again on 21 Dec, by which point I had given up hope of getting it delivered before I left home for Christmas. I was very impressed that it arrived on the 23rd - someone had clearly considered the fact that the item would be a Christmas present and made a special effort to get it sent quickly, even though there was no promise of next day delivery on the website. Highly appreciated!

Not great
Be aware they use EVRI for their "free delivery". Otherwise, they let you choose other couriers with expensive delivery prices. They don't accept returns of food items if you change your mind, only if they are faulty.

To clarify, our free standard delivery via Evri is one option, which is displayed at the end of checkout so you can select it. We also offer other couriers, such as DPD next day delivery, for those who prefer - this is free for orders over £100 to most postcode locations.
Unfortunately, for reasons of hygiene and safety, we can’t accept returns of food, other perishable items, or earrings for pierced ears unless they’re faulty or not as described. We know this can be disappointing, and we’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
We really appreciate your feedback and will continue to look for ways to make ordering with us as clear, easy, and enjoyable as possible.

What an amazing company
What an amazing company , when their delivery company failed to deliver the package , they immediately stepped up and replaced it free of charge and shipped the replacement by next day delivery as it was a present. They went above and beyond and top class products as well

One of my favourite place for cooking geeks
One of my favourite place online to buy ingredients and various kitchen equipments. As a long-term regular customer, I automatically go to Sous Chef when I need to find new ingredients or top up existing ones, especially those that I can't find in the supermarket. And the few times I've had to deal with the customer service team, it was excellent.
There are times where I wish they had more of a variety for certain kitchen accessories like chef's knives. But the ingredients are what matters to me more.
Great site for the kitchen/cooking geeks out there.

WOW 🤩 What a truly amazing experience…
WOW 🤩 What a truly amazing experience so far. I was led to Sous Chef via a Facebook advert. It kept ‘popping up’ and I kept ‘browsing’ (almost ona daily basis) finally making a list of “goodies” for Christmas. What I immediately loved, was the amazing foodstuff that wasn’t available anywhere else (such as fig & almond wedge for our Christmas Cheeseboard). That isn’t the only thing I ordered … beautiful Italian biscuits, French chocolates and a few other bits & pieces. Yes … it’s not cheap … but I truly get it … the Sous Chef team sourcing amazing things from around the world from small producers - I’m all for that (well done!). My husband and I are so looking forward to sharing the unusual, yet delicious goodies with our family & friends this Christmas. Oh … and I forgot to mention - my order was placed at around 7pm on Thursday, was immediately followed up by emails which were friendly (but not “pushy”) and our beautifully packaged parcel arrived around 4pm the very next day, which quite frankly, is so much quicker that some of the multi-million £ businesses that lots of us buy from (one beginning with “A”, has the last letter of the alphabet in the middle, and ends with an “N”). Finally, I never leave reviews - primarily because the ‘service’ and/or ‘goods’ don’t ’bowl me over’. This company has, wholeheartedly, so much so, that a second review will follow - once we’ve tasted everything! Well done team Sous Chef - I love what your doing. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

delivery error put right quickly
My parcel was incorrectly delivered by Evri - we could not track it down. Within 48 hours, Souschef took full responsibility and arranged for a fresh order to be delivered by DPD - received with thanks. I was amazed at the response - brilliant!

Be careful if you’re buying a gift.
I received an older version of an item that didn’t match the photo on the website (I only found out when my friend unwrapped it at the party), and because it was a gift I wasn’t able to provide a photo afterwards.
After rounds and rounds of conversations, unfortunately, customer service insisted on there were not recent stock of the older versions from their end and without a photographic proof from me, they couldn’t offer any compensation without it; the final decision was, even I've able to provide a photo, 'as discussed', I need to get the gift back from my friend and return it :)

Oh no! I am sorry to hear that your latest experience did not meet your expectations. I can see that we have double checked our stock and didn't come across the issue you reported. To ensure we can properly investigate and make it right for you, we do often ask for a photo of the product received. That's for a few reasons: to verify the issue, to ensure sure we don't resend the unwanted item again, and also so we can alert our team and the supplier so it doesn't happen again. If your friend is able to send that over, then we can certainly help them get the correct design. Apologies once again for the disappointment.
