Spencer Lockwood recently handled the sale of our leasehold flat. Our case handler, Monika, approached the sale very positively and with good humour. She handled many enquiries and must have been on first name terms with the flat's management company by the end. The fees were very competitive too.

Never felt compelled to leave a review of a business before but this company have me so wound up. Completely lack of empathy when dealing with their customers, made to feel unvalued as a customer and that your opinion is irrelevant. Don't respond to emails or questions promptly (lucky to receive a response in 7 days) don't return calls when reception tell you they will, do not explain any part of the process to first time buyers.
Complained about the service only to receive a rude reply from the director of the company. Would never use again nor recommend
First instructed on 3rd of October and still not completed or date for completion set.
I would leave 0 stars if able as I feel that strongly about the service received.

Honey Shakeri (Solicitor) always responded to our emails the day we sent them or the following day and kept in constant communication with us throughout purchasing our home with Spencer Lockwood whether that was through the phone or emails. After a terrible experience with another solicitor/conveyancing company this was a breath of fresh air.

Solicitors fees were very reasonable and there were no unexpected charges.

Overall good service and prompt responses from Nitesh and Honey.
We were recommended Spencer Lockwood by our broker and we couldn’t have been happier.

Initially we were passed around 3 different solicitors in quick succession, however, our last solicitor Monika was absolutely superb. She responded quickly and was proactive in her approach. Whenever there was a stumbling block she would find a way to keep momentum. Thanks Monika!!

Ria carried out the conveyancing on my new flat very thoroughly and the process ran quite smoothly in the main.

The redemption of H2B loan was completed successfully at a price unbeatable than other lawyers. The only drawback was it took quite a few months as compared to previous experience but at a higher price. Maria who delt with all work handled the job well. Still waiting for land registry documents. Keep you posted then. They do have an expedited approach as well but at a higher cost.

What made our experience good with Spencer Lockwood was our solicitor Honey Shakeri. She was friendly but professional and always returned our messages and kept us up to date throughout.
Although Spencer Lockwood were in London and we were in Devon, everything was done electronically so the only time we had to use the post was to send the signed documents.
The whole process took 4 months.

Saifee was a pleasure to deal with.
I used Spencer Lockwood for conveyancing. I found the process very smooth from the start. I was able to submit nearly all paperwork electronically. Communication was good, no need for constant chasing of progress updates. It was very easy to contact Saifee when I needed to.

Monika helped us with our sale and purchase and she was fantastic! She was quick and thorough and I was always able to get through to her on the phone. She went above and beyond even answering emails outside of work hours. fantastic to work with!

Terrible rip off. I needed a certificate which was part of my file and i had every right to it and when i asked Brook for it he charged me money and ignored my other queries as i had an investigation. I think this is disgraceful service and money grabbing.
