Ordered one pair sandals for £35 plus postage which took nearly a month to arrive. They were too narrow so contacted stridepure for a refund. Was offered £10 and I could keep the shoes- I told them no thanks and started to smell a rat. Was offered £30 so went for that (better than nothing) and sent shoes by tracked post to a given address. 10 days later I still hadn't heard anything so tracked the parcel- tracking message said that royal mail had been told that they could not deliver to given address. Have emailed the company but not holding my breath.

Stay well clear of this company!!!

So wished I checked this out before I purchased because they are cheap crap basically. I would be hard pressed to pay £10
I did check their site and no where did they say sending from China. Thought it was a genuine company.
I am not even going to try and get a refund after reading the reviews and put it down to experience. At least I only bought one pair.
From now on I am not going to buy on line. Thought it was a genuine uk company, how wrong could I be!!!!’

I ordered two pairs of sandals for my holiday. They didn’t arrive on time and when they did they were in a cheap black plastic bad with no paperwork. I immediately initiated the refund process and was offered £15. Given that I paid £60+ I refused. I was then told I need to return the sandals to them at my own cost. I did so and now they will only offer a £55 refund saying that there is a re-warehousing cost. I have threatened a chargeback on my credit card if they do not process a full refund. I’m awaiting their response.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!

Recently I bought sandals advertised as having wide toes. They haven’t, so I an unable to wear them.
I have asked to return them. They have not responded. The website refers to a nonexistent returns policy.
It’s a total scam. Stay away!

The company did not deliver the sandals in time even though additional postage paid.
The items were too small, not their fault, so I wanted to return.
THEIR RETURN POLICY IS NON EXISTANT.
Several emails later they would not allow me to return the item and provide a full refund which is against the law, I think, in UK. No return instructions were ever given. I left a review on their site but is was not registered

Ich habe bei der Firma Stridpure.de meine Bestellung stornieren und eine Rückerstattung beauftragt und mein Geld zurück überweisen auf mein Konto. Und bis heute 30.5.25 noch nicht erhalten und ich habe auch schon eine Anzeige gemacht bei Polizei und Ich schalte noch rechtsawalt ein.

If it was possible to apply zero stars I would do so. They are scammers and con artists and will not refund legitimate returns. Save yourself the stress and do not buy from this company. I wish I had reviewed the trust pilot reviews before purchasing. Everything people have said is true. How trading standards haven't intervened I do not know! But I will certainly be contacting them.

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered from this company. The shoes took almost 2 weeks to arrive. Packed in plastic. Definitely not softest leather as advertised, plastic at best. Meant to be suitable for bunions, very narrow toe box. Very cheap and nasty shoes. Returning them has been ridiculous. I was initially offered a refund of £14. They cost £75.98. I challenged this and they asked me to send them back, at my own cost. I did this, tracking the order and sending an email with evidence photographs of the delivery to the support email asking for my refund by the end of this week. They have emailed me back saying they will remove handling costs and pay me £60. Needless to say I have emailed them requesting the full amount. Definitely would not recommend this company.

Do not buy from them. Delivery takes up to 3 weeks. You cant contact them. The telephone number on their website belongs to someone who doesnt have a business with them. The UK address on their website is fake. They dont do returns and exchanges. Everything they have written on their website is complete opposite of how they operate.

They will frustrate you.

Absolutely horrendous "company" Absolute scam. I paid £34.99 for a pair of sandles which have now arrived but are of a terrible quality! Upon receipt of these sandles I immediately contacted the company by email to start the returns process. Their first reply to me offered me a refund of £6 which then was raised to £12 until I threatened them with trading standards to be then offered a refund of £20. Completely unacceptable and dreadful customer service waste of money! DO JOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE

Scam company!!!! Avoid at all costs. Ordered 3 pairs of sandals as I have painful foot arch problems. These were advertised as orthopaedic and helpful for flat feet etc!! Each pair arrived in a material bag and on removal was literally gagged by the smell of glue? Absolutely disgusting. This company should be closed down, but no doubt this review will be removed!!!!
These EXACT sandals are on the Temu website for £6-7 per pair.
Trust pilot please put the customer first before you even think of removing this very accurate, completely truthful review.

Absolute rubbish! I received the trainers two weeks after ordering them, they arrived in a black plastic bag with no paper work. They feel and look cheap and definitively not orthopaedic. They are uncomfortable with a hard innersole and they are supposed to have a wide toe box but it is very tight and I have small slim feet, so it’s not because I have wide feet. Save your money and shop somewhere else. I would give zero star if it wouid let me.

Received my order a week ago. Very cheaply made shoes. One strap has been sewn twisted, so unwearable. I emailed asking for a refund. They offered me £8 against a £34 order. I told them that was totally unacceptable and probably because I didn't want anymore hassle, I said I would not accept any less than £20. They happily refunded this without me returning shoes which are now in the bin. I guess this is how they are making money, people like myself not demanding a full refund or keeping shoddy goods. Do not use.

There is nothing remotely orthopaedic about the sandals I received. They are made from the cheapest possible plastic, they offer no support and I would be embarrassed to wear them.
Do not be fooled by the claims Stridepure make. Keep your money and put it towards some shoes from a company with a reputation for good quality products

I read the reviews here after I'd ordered some. They are very obviously not leather, there is nothing orthopaedic about them and they probably won't last more than a few wearings. I'll keep them for pottering around indoors as I can't be bothered to send them back but my advice is keep your money and put it towards something decent.

Update: I have to partly eat my words. I have been wearing these and even with my wonky feet, they are actually very comfortable. If they were made of better material they would be hard to beat but so far, despite that, they are unusually comfortable . In view of this I am upgrading my original review to three stars. How long they last will remain to be seen.

DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. I ordered their “Orthopaedic sandals for bunion correction”. They arrived with no brand name or any paperwork to confirm where they were from. Not leather, as described. Contacted them through website, to request a full refund. I have been offered £7 and told I don’t need to return the sandals. I am extremely disappointed and have requested a full refund. Will update when they get back to me.

Interestingly I read the reviews after I had ordered a pair of ‘orthopaedic’ sandals. I panicked and decided it would be a lesson learned and I either wouldn’t get them or they would be rubbish.
However, I am delighted to say they were ordered on 30th April and arrived today (12th May). They are pretty, fit perfectly and are of a quality I would expect for the price. To be honest, they could probably not be described as orthopaedic but they are comfortable.
Maybe I’ve just been lucky.

Like everyone else on here, I wish I read these reviews. Slippers are too small and absolutely rubbish. Emailed them for return and refund and they replied they will exchange them for a larger size but no details of how to do this. After reading all these reviews, I guess I will just have to cut my losses as it does not look like I will get anywhere.
