We have just driven from North East Scotland to the Lofoten Islands for sea kayaking, with never having to worry about the kayaks due to the wide cradle base. Excellent

I have been very pleased with the easy load roof rack that I bought earlier this year. I am disabled but still find it really easy to put my dinghy on car roof.

First class service and piece of equipment at a value for money price.
A few small issues rectified straightaway.

If your looking at purchasing a roof mounted pull down rack, this is definitely the Company.
A family run business with all the warmth and care you could ask for.
The level of knowledge and pre-sale help provided was at the highest standards.
I looked at the Thule roof pull down rack, but they did not supply a 3 Kyak version plus the price was very high, so I started looking round and came across the Kari-Tek product.
I watched a video on YouTube and thought this is the one, I started contacting Teal Engineering for some advice and specifications to match my VW T5.1, they could not have helped me more.
There was a couple of fitting options available, but after sending the cross bar pictures to them, one was shone through.
I decided to travel up to Scotland to have these guys fit it for me as I thought if there is any issues they could rectify them.
which in fairness gave me and my wife an excuse to visit Scotland anyway.
What a wonderful family, a Husband and wife team bolstered with the welth of expertise and experience from the owners father.
What a welcoming and warm family.
I am so pleased with the rack, it used to take me 1 hour with A frame ladders lifting Kyaks above my son and mine head, now we are looking at 10 mins of easy on and off which makes us want to go more.

Many years ago Geoff made me a custom Kari-Tek rack to let me fit a big roof box on my transporter as well as a couple of kayaks. It worked beautifully but now decades later it's a bit heavy for my old muscles so I put another custom idea to Geoff and ,with a couple of quiet tweaks to my idea, he's done it again and loading boats and roof box is now almost effortless.

I had a Karitek kayak carrier on my van. It did a fabulous job taking a couple of kayaks (and occasionally my SUP) all over the west coast of Scotland. I sold the van, and with the virtual assistance of the guys at Teal I got the carrier set up on my Peugeot 208. I can't fault their customer service-they were incredibly helpful. Now I'm back on the road and using the Karitek once again to transport my kit.

Great piece of kit and the process of ordering and delivery were excellent. Building and fitting instructions are not great, took some working out and lots of head scratching. Simple in the end.

The roof rack needs to be installed with care to ensure the correct alignment needed for it to work smoothly.

Sound, helpful advice. Prompt and patient responses to my endless queries prior to committing. Great bit of kit, no more balancing on ladders with risk of dropping sea kayaks, or falling. Makes loading and unloading on my transporter pop top an easy one man job. Definitely a.sound investment to make paddling more accessible.

We had our High lift Kerritek system fitted by the team a few years ago. We have a motorhome and wanted to carry two sea kayaks on the roof and wanted to avoid climbing up and down to use them. The high lift system is outstanding. It allows me, on my own when necessary, to put up and bring down two full sized sea kayaks without too much trouble and whilst remaining on the ground throughout! We now travel all over the UK and Europe with our kayaks on the roof. The service from the team has been unbelievable even when phoning from some distant campsite in Europe asking for advice after I have done something wrong to the system. They are so patient. The system does need to be maintained very well for it to operate smoothly. So lots of silicon spray and grease is needed on key parts. Without this you will encounter lots of problems. However there is no better system in the market which allows you to put up and take down kayaks safely from a high roof motorhome. The team are incredible.

When I initially made contact for a kari- tek roofrack, I did not have the van, but asked general questions. Michelle answered them all. Everytime I send an email with questions they were always promptly answered. When I finally was able to send Michelle pictures of the van, she was able to send me a quote. It was easy to contact the team at Kari-tek.
Last week I finally picked up my roof rack and I am very pleased with it. The instructions given on how to use it were clear and made sense.Went out on the ski today from a different location, and used the rack. I was a little nervous using it, but after putting the ski on it the first time it was easy. Thank you Kari-Tek team.😃

Really helpful and excellent after sales service
My kari-tek roof rack is about 8 years old and I recently changed vehicles and the roof shape is different. Fitting required spacers between the roof bars and the feet and after a phone call followed by an email with photos of the rack and new roof all the required spacers with replacement bolts and nuts were despatched free of charge and arrived within a few days
Really friendly and efficient service

Good system and I was just adding kit for an extra boat. Gaynor was helpful and the website is pretty good too

I purchased a second hand high lift that needed some work. The team at Teal were very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The parts that I needed arrive swiftly, were well packed and fitted perfectly.
