The Loftman Company レビュー

Excellent company, top service from start to finish.
Clear polite visit from surveyor, competitive price.
Work carried out today, very pleased with the work, polite fitters quality work, protected the area and tidied up very well. Overall very pleased with the job and would recommend.

Great job done..
They’ve got great Crews working for them.
Easy to book, great communication throughout and a great set up.

Given us more space than we ever thought possible.
Tidy?
Neat?
Effective?
Pick 3.
All good.

Unfortunately, we have been very disappointed with the work carried out on our loft. The standard of workmanship was far below what was shown to us in the original quotation photos. The old loft hatch was not covered properly, there were big holes left in the boarding in the loft, the lining was fitted the wrong way around, and the loft hatch itself has been installed bent. The ceilings and walls were also left extremely dirty.

What has made the experience worse is the length of time the work has taken. This started in March and is still unfinished, which has delayed our decorating plans. We were told the team would return to correct the issues, but communication within the company has been poor and we have had no proper resolution.

We expected a professional finish and better customer service throughout the process. Hopefully these concerns will now be taken seriously and resolved properly.

Absolutly brilliant company. Booked appointment with them fitter measured up i recieved quote same day which i was happy with and booked date.Brought my appointment forward which was better for us. The fitters arrived early all done bish bash bosh in 2 hours. Brilliant job quality of product and workmanship exceptional would reccommend the loftman company to anyone.

Great communication from the start, confirmation of initial appointment, when we could expect our quotation, when we would be booked in, who to expect and what time etc.
The fitters were great, very curtious and tidy, and respectful of our property. They worked very quickly and the job was excellent.

Great for the work done, but I spent ages trying to get the warranty through my Loftman surveyor without success. Today I got a call back from a message I left on the main office answering machine, explaining my final invoice acted as my warranty and there was no actual warranty document.
If I'd been told this earlier it would've saved me chasing it.

Really good service, from initial enquiry through to the fit. Karen who organised the quote and job was super efficient, Leroy who did the quote visit was great, and Jamie the fitter was brilliant. Couldn't fault them at all. Would strongly recommend.

I have had a very bad experience with this company and would recommend you get other quotes.
I asked for a fully boarded loft and did not get that, when I challenged the work they were not helpful and offered to finish the job for an extra £750 then with a £50 discount as I said not good enough.
The day they were booked in for 8am they changed to 11am and then at 1pm cancelled, I had taken a day off work and was very annoyed, but booked it for another day only to be let down again by the fact the job was not done that I had asked for.
They boarded the sides and left the middle, so you can’t stand on the middle safely to use the sides.
My experience was all together a let down and I will get another company to finish the job they started and cost a lot.
The team did not want to help and was happy to just leave the job as it was unless I paid a lot more money.
The lads that came on the day were nice lads . Just didn’t get what I asked for which was a fully boarded loft.

Great customer service from survey to installation complete. Ryan and Neil were superb

From start to finish this company has been exceptional with Price, efficiency and communication. Taz and Jamie started at 8am this morning again excellent communication from Taz yesterday about time of arrival. Taz and Jamie have done an Amazing job with the loft boarding, loft hatch and ladder friendly, efficient and got on with the job and tidied up after the job was done too. Jay’s communication and friendliness, Phil no nonsense approach to measuring up for the quote and not forgetting the electrician that fitted our light too Top guys! Honestly I’m very glad I went with The Loftman Company I recommend them wholeheartedly! If you want your loft boarded don’t look anywhere else! 10 out of 10!

It was great from start to finish and on the actual day it was completed quickly with no issues.

Turned up bang on time, Very professional throughout, The job they did far exceeded my expectations. Done in double quick time too. Very, VERY Happy with the result. The guys even put the stuff already in the loft, neatly upon the shelves they fitted. Also tidied up after themselves and took the waste away with them.
Would recommend in a heartbeat

We are absolutely delighted with the loft renovation. Danar and his assistant were class today and the space up there is so much better and so much more accessible. There is also so much more storage space - worth the money 100%. Thanks so much to Jason for the initial visit and quote and to the lads today 👍🏻👍🏻 would definitely recommend!

We had our loft transformed today by The Loftman Company.Strip light, insulation, wooden ladders and boarding. We now have an extra clean room for storage all done in a few hours The work was carried out by true professionals who were respectful of our property, doing a fantastic job and tidying up after themselves. You would never know they had done such a big job with minimal disruption.
Definitely recommend this company.

The simple way we were able to get a quote
The speed of the fitting and no fuss or delays.
the two lads were very polite and again no fuss,
and completed on time.
Many thanks
G Thompson

I have to say from start to finish it has been a great experience from jake that came and measure up and price the job

Micth and Chris arrived on time and got straight to work they was here for about two hours and the job was done it was quick than I expected and they were
well mannered,
Thanks guys would recommend you to
everyone that want a loft ladder fitted

The job was good but there were a couple of hiccups - first they wanted to reschedule the job with only a couple of days notice, but after we complained they managed to keep it on the day arranged.
The contractors did the job quickly and well, but left gaps in the middle, which we were perplexed about. Apparently the surveyor did the quote so that there would be gaps in the middle of the loft without letting us know. When we complained, they arranged to get the contractors back to fill the gaps. So overall it took a while and the process was quite painful, but we are happy with the final result.

From start to finish this company have been efficient, friendly and have done everything they said they would.
I would definitely would recommend them.

Getting a quote and the installation itself (completed in early 2025) were both fine.

My loft originally had boards and loft legs that were due to be removed, which was agreed in the quote.

However, after later lifting some of the boards to do some electrical work, I discovered that the original loft legs (the ones that should have been removed) had simply been left behind, resting on top of the insulation. I also found what appears to be some of the original loft boards, along with an empty drink bottle.

This is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Given that waste removal was included in the quote, it is unacceptable that this was not properly carried out, and even more concerning that additional waste appears to have been left behind.

Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Prompt response to our initial enquiry and throughout the quoting process
All communications were clear and we knew what to expect and when
Very happy with the service and our much more accessible loft!
