Was fast and friendly ,very clean

Loftman company texted me that they were on their way, arrived put dust sheets on the stairs and landing. Did the loft hatch ,cleaned up after and took old hatch away, professional job happy with the new hatch and work

Excellent service, friendly and speedy

Really nice chap who did the install and the quality of work is great. I did think I was paying to get the whole of my loft boarded up but apparently this was not the case which is unfortunate. The access also ended up being very tight but some manual adjustments have fixed that

Workmen were friendly arrived on time. Work carried out to excellent standard. There was a lack of communication with electrician as he turned up over an hour after loft hatch had been done. He hadn t been advised that workmen had got to us earlier. Light fitting had been moved & needed to be moved further over anyway so it worked out well. Very satisfied with everything overall. We were very pleased with the service we received from Loftman. We initially got in touch because our home had very little existing insulation (around 25mm from the 1970s), along with various debris left by previous owners. We wanted to bring the insulation up to modern standards and add some boarding for light storage.

Our surveyor, Rhys, was excellent - polite, thorough, and knowledgeable. He carried out a careful inspection of the loft and took the time to clearly explain the available options. Importantly, there was no pressure or pushy sales approach, which we really appreciated.

The pricing felt fair and sensible: not the cheapest, but certainly not excessive for the quality of service provided. Booking the installation was straightforward, and the team arrived around four weeks after we made our decision.

On the day, the installers arrived on time and were polite, efficient, and professional throughout. The job was originally estimated to take a day and a quarter, but they completed it within a single day. When they encountered an unexpected issue with a fixed passageway, they adapted their approach without any fuss and worked around it effectively.

The transformation of the loft is fantastic - it’s cleaner, better organised, and even smells fresher. Most importantly, the house already feels noticeably warmer and retains heat much better, even during the recent strong winds.

We would be very happy to recommend Loftman and are extremely pleased with the result.

Think twice Booked in never turned up I had to keep ringing them first earlier morning Friday then text saying 12 then changed 15:00 .
16:30 still no sign no phone calls to apologise I had to ring them Monday afternoon couldn't give me a reason
Got my money back ill go elsewhere

Loft done in a half day. Very polite and efficient workers. They cleaned after themselves. Very happy with my new loft and the ladder is wooden and easy to use.Paperwork done online, quick and easy payment.

Shoddy workman ship, dreadful finish, wrecked my walls with multiple chunks taken out of them, damaged skirting board, door frame, a chest of drawers, and a bedside table. Left the house filthy, dirt all over the walls and surfaces despite them "cleaning" it - with a leaf blower. (My concerns with this was that on the phone to fitter earlier they said that i didnt need to take anything out of the room to stay clean - i left bedding in there, absolutely filthy, they could have given me a judgement call that there were either unable to cover it or that the covers would leave it filthy... and the walls are covered with marks from clothes, hands, tools, whatever).Mind boggling. They said they needed a card payment, i said i needed to speak to their office before i make payment. Multiple phone calls with Gavin, their boss. The installers ledt while Gavin said he would call me back to "sort it". They then took the rest of the payment remotely... despite them insisting they needed a card payment... and are uncontactable, 5 calls over 1.5 hours, all diverted to voicemail. Absolutely appalling. Cowboys, avoid.

Contrary to their reply, I have not screamed at anyone. They were working by the chest of drawers. They have also damaged a bedside table, the walls, with chunks of plaster now missing from it. I have only spoken to gavin, as far as I am aware, no one has introduced themselves as anyone else. You have contently ignore points that I have raised in this, and I mentioned in passing that I thought it was meant to be upvc, but accepted that I had multiple quotes at the time and it wasnt an issue. Ill leave you to decide if its a professional finish when we speak and I show you the pictures. I also like that you have flagged this for offencive content... I wonder if you do that regularly with negative reviews.

I have contacted Richard by the number provided and he is now unwilling to discuss this.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. You can make your own mind up. My comments are factual, their reply is not. Since reading this, and validating me doing this, Richard has been in touch:

I totally agree with Caroline Stephenson. DO NOT USE The Loftman Company. They just want your money, surveyor Jake messed up my installation by suggesting the existing ladder was moved to an alternative location without taking any measurements. I have contacted Gavin to ask for the botched installation to be rectified but he hasn't even had the decency to respond to my email. I've now had to employ someone else to sort out the issue. So Caroline you have my sympathies re this appalling company (your experience sounded even worse than mine) and to anyone else just avoid using this company.

Everything from start to finish was very easy and professionally done. Everyone we came into contact with was excellent, from booking the appointment, to having the survey and the fitting, all brilliant. Would Highly recommend this company.

Both Ashley and Josh were polite and professional, the job was finished in a few hours with absolutely no mess. I would highly recommend. I now have so much storage space, my loft is completely transformed and I'm so pleased!

Dominic and his team did a brilliant job for the installation part of this project. Hard working, respectful, conscientious, cleaned up after themselves. Before the installation, the project was reviewed to ensure that my expectations were met.

From the initial home survey and quote to the final deliverable of installation, everyone who was involved in the process have been very professional and are a credit to the company. I would highly recommend to anyone to use The Loftman Company

The loftmen did a great job, from the quote to the installation putting insulation in, boarding it out tidying up taking all rubbish taken away. well done!

I found this company great, from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.
