I had a loft hatch installed over a year ago the trim round the hatch is to large making contact with the down lights also the ladder when unfolded hits the banister this has now put a hole in the banister. Even though they claim it has a 2 year warranty when I told them about the issues they said it’s been to long since the install to raise issues then tried to get me to pay them to sort out there poor install.

Prompt service. It did feel like the team were under pressure to get it finished so felt quite rushed.
I have since raised an issue with the light switch and certificate for the electrics. The electrician quickly supplied the certificate but I’ve yet to get a response on the light switch which is sticking.

The real quote was done just after a few days I made the online quotation. The engineer who fixed the fitting did the great job, efficient and polite.
The quote was competitive and decent.

Really happy with the service I received. Fabulous, tidy job. Fitters were polite and very respectful. Got the loft done quickly with minimum disruption.

The people on the 0800 6895806 number really don’t have a clue!
Last week I received a quote for the installation of a loft ladder. I accepted the quote and had to pay a £270 deposit - which I did, immediately.
Since then I have received TWO further text messages asking me to complete the quote that I already completed last week ….. I rang customer services to explain all this and was told that the ‘text message’ button on her computer had now been turned off so I shouldn’t receive any more. I then asked if my installation was still booked in and was told that she didn’t deal with that, ‘but I’ll transfer you to someone who does’.
I was then transferred to ‘another’ customer services woman who was EXTREMELY rude, saying ‘I don’t know what your query is, all I’ve done is answer the phone’!
Let’s hope that the installation goes ahead without a hitch - but judging by the attitude of their staff, I’m not holding my breath!

UPDATE 18/12/25
I have just received a phone call from this company inferring that my review was very ‘harsh’.
The guy was very condescending and continually over talked me, to the point that I have cancelled my order and requested a refund of £270.

If this is the attitude to PAYING CUSTOMERS then I strongly recommend this company is avoided.

FURTHER UPDATE - 18/12/25
And after the Director informing me today that I wouldn’t receive any further quotes by text message, as they had been switched off, I’ve just received yet another one!

Incompetence of the highest order - thank goodness I’ve cancelled my order.

Really good communication throughout. Professional workmanship. Really respected the house Took great care with carpets and paint work. Lots of helpful advice and hints. The team were really pleasant and polite.

Really impressed with the Loftman. We had our whole loft boarded and Taz was amazing. Very neat and tidy, and the whole thing was so much faster than we expected! The Loftman was also a great company to deal with- all very efficient, professional and clear. Would highly recommend!

Great service from initial contact, site survey and installation. The guys that visited site were very careful, covered the floors where they worked, but also from the front door and up the stairs. The installation day was a bit wet so using plastic backed dust sheets meant no dirt or water ingress. Also very polite and very helpful.

Excellent service. Very competitive price. Speedy installation. Workers clean and tidy. Im very happy with the outcome. It's made a massive difference having this extra storage space. Thank you very much

A great experience from beginning to end. Phil Jones did a terrific job in terms of offering advice and measuring, this was followed up by a really smooth installation which included the removal of all of the existing boarding and waste.

I was actually really impressed. The quote was done quickly and efficiently and the employee who visited was friendly and knowledgable. The work was good too. It was done within a short lead time, completed in an afternoon, and is fit for purpose. My experience with the loft man company has been really good.

The two young men that came to fit the boards and ladder in my loft were extremely polite. They worked non-stop for a perfect job. Also vacuumed and cleaned any mess up that they made well done. Advise anybody to have this company Mr Mrs King Bellcroft Gardens.

They were reasonably priced and did a fast service, I'm happy with the job done and would recommend to friends and family.
