The Timeless Chesterfields brand is owned and operated by Saxon Furniture Ltd, an employee-owned British company who have been expertly hand-crafting Chesterfield leather and fabric furniture for 40 years.
The success of the company can be attributed to the dedication and ethos of producing the finest Chesterfields in the country, without exception. Unlike these companies, we hand-craft all our own designs in our workshop in Lancashire by our very own time-served upholsterers, seamstresses and cutters, many of whom have grown up with the business.
As a company, we believe in being completely open about how our products are crafted and what materials we use. So much so that we invite you to come along personally to watch the expert skills and eye for detail of our master craftsmen first hand via our unique viewing gallery in our showroom.
It's an honesty that has served us well for 40 years and is evident not only in the workshop but across the company from, the showroom staff to customer services to the delivery team to our support staff. We are adamant that you will not encounter a more professional but friendly and genuine sofa buying experience in the UK.

I would highly recommend this company
I would highly recommend this company. Ordered 2 x Chesterfields after receiving leather samples for colour choice. A phone call to their customer services was very helpful and they were able to answer my queries. I was unsure between two styles and they were able to advise the differences. Once the order was placed I was kept informed throughout and the sofas were delivered on time by an excellent delivery team. Quality outstanding! So pleased with my sofas.

I had a wonderful experience shopping with Timeless Chesterfields. I ordered from their online catalogue with many customizations in size and style. The feedback for questions was always timely and clear. They never lost patience with my many questions and changes. With new couch, chair and ottoman I am so happy with the outcome. The delivery was easy, both timely and courteous. The experience could not have been better!

Are you kidding
Are you kidding? It's fantastic, and I wish we had gotten it 3 years ago-we had a used one. It started falling apart-after 45 years of service-but my husband wouldn't part. This year, he sad down and it broke completely. I couldn't stop laughing! So, O.K., We HAD to get another. If it wears like the former one-and it looks like it will- it should last us the rest of our lives!

Perfect Experience !!!
Got the first two sofas 4 years ago and only now they start to get a bit softer :)
I was looking for an exceptional quality product that will last a long time and their chesterfields are more like a family assets, always looking good , getting even better with time.
My latest, third sofa order was perfect as the first time.
The entire process despite being shipped by sea was flawless,
Pauline Rushton communications was impeccable.
Thanks so much for such great (although expensive) experience

Love my Timeless Chesterfield Pieces
Love my Timeless Chesterfield sofa and chairs! I am pleased with the extensive choices of furniture styles, leather options and finishes. After receiving leather samples, I made my selection, placed the order and waited. After approximately twelve weeks, my pieces arrived! They complete the room very nicely. The downside is that there were some minor quality issues with the manufacturing process. We were able to make the repairs ourselves and are now enjoying the furniture.

A little England in Michigan
We were nervous ordering a high value item sight unseen but the Timeless Chesterfields website was so detailed and filled with technical information and great reviews we took a chance. The staff in the UK are great, best service and so helpful. The pictures of the Chesterfields do not do justice to the actual sofa it is perfect and we love it. It was delivered pretty much on time and the white glove service people were professional and quick. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Thanks Timeless Chesterfields for making our day and proving that old fashioned service and craftsmenship is alive and well

My classic chair & matching footstoolâŠ
My classic chair & matching footstool were delivered 7 weeks ago, after a 4 month wait, but they were worth waiting for. Finished in antique red (ox blood), the standard of workmanship is stunning & very comfortable. The stool was a very worthwhile addition for comfort when âchilling outâ.
I have no hesitation in recommending Timeless Chesterfields & one day hope to match additional furniture to my chair & stool.

Disappointed I was very disappointed with theâŠ
I was very disappointed with the leather on my sofa and chair as this was my third chesterfield (previous ones not from timeless) and I was told after complaining about the look after a short time that it needed to be cleaned and conditioned regular, I bought this as my others were very low maintenance and had my second one 19 years, canât see me having this one for as long, feel like I should have had a degree in leather before purchasing it according to my email replies.

Dear Mrs Gills,
Thank you for your feedback.
We are naturally sorry to hear you have concerns regarding the leather on the Chesterfield furniture we have handmade for you.
I have met with our After Sales team to review your order and the correspondence over your concerns.
Your order was handmade in Old English Black, which is from our Heritage range. This range is our second most popular range, behind our Hand Finished Antique collection.
After you made contact with us 8 months following your delivery to raise concerns that some areas of the leather had lightened, we sent you a cleaning kit free of charge as a gesture of goodwill. We are pleased to know this resolved the issue of the leather lightening. But to maintain the appearance of your furniture you would need to apply the cleaning products regularly.
As noted on our website, the Heritage range âwill show wear and distress marks as the waxes redistribute under use. The leather also possesses a âpull-upâ effect as the lighter under shade is exposed when stretchedâ. What you are seeing is completely natural and to be expected for the leather you have chosen. This is not something to be viewed as a defect, more a characteristic of the leather.
On the reverse of the order confirmation we supply to each of our customers after an order is placed, it also confirms the leather characteristics and cleaning guidance.
We understand you have had Chesterfield furniture previously and mentioned that you thought Chesterfields were all made with the same leather. This is not the case.
We offer a wide range of leathers from pigmented grains to full aniline leathers. Each leather has different properties.
Through maintaining your furniture with the cleaning and protection creams we supply, we hope you are able to enjoy your furniture for many years.
Kind regards
Matthew Deighton
Managing Director
