The Timeless Chesterfields brand is owned and operated by Saxon Furniture Ltd, an employee-owned British company who have been expertly hand-crafting Chesterfield leather and fabric furniture for 40 years.
The success of the company can be attributed to the dedication and ethos of producing the finest Chesterfields in the country, without exception. Unlike these companies, we hand-craft all our own designs in our workshop in Lancashire by our very own time-served upholsterers, seamstresses and cutters, many of whom have grown up with the business.
As a company, we believe in being completely open about how our products are crafted and what materials we use. So much so that we invite you to come along personally to watch the expert skills and eye for detail of our master craftsmen first hand via our unique viewing gallery in our showroom.
It's an honesty that has served us well for 40 years and is evident not only in the workshop but across the company from, the showroom staff to customer services to the delivery team to our support staff. We are adamant that you will not encounter a more professional but friendly and genuine sofa buying experience in the UK.

I was looking for a really niceâŠ
I was looking for a really nice Chesterfield office chair for my office. It was difficult to find one here in the U.S. , but I managed to track down these guys in the U.K. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I placed my order online and it was an easy process. I was a little worried - you never know how things come out in person, but the chair looks even better than it did online. Beautiful leather, great design and quality materials. It took a while to have it shipped, but was worth it.

Excellent solid work
Very good looking
Chair fits like a suit and is very comfortable.
The leather is "cracked wax jet black" which looks like a sort of black marble.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable team, quality product
We couldn't be more pleased with our armchairs from Timeless Chesterfields. We received expert advice when we were choosing which chair design, leather and studs and every point of contact with the company was A1. We would thoroughly recommend both the product and the staff and we know we will be happy with our pair of chairs for years to come...exactly what we had hoped for.

Great product and company
This is the first time i have ordered settees online without getting the opportunity to sit on them. The settees look beautiful, are well made, strong and sturdy. Very comfortable to sit on and look great in our living room. The process was easy to order on line. Got a confirmation email immediately and only put down a deposit. Received good communication re delivery date and easy full payment made. Delivery was simple, within 5 mins the settees were unpacked checked and in place. Highly recommended company.

Poor back up service
Contacted Timeless Chesterfields regarding purchasing replacement foam for slightly sagging seats but was told the complete seat would have to be replaced as new foam was to difficult to replace. I explained had just taken out and turned the foam over within the covers in just a few minutes, not a problem, not only that, new leather on the seat would look odd against the surrounding sofa but they would not help. Will have to find another upholsterer to assist.

Dear Mr Mawford,
Thank you for your review.
As a family firm that prides ourselves on the quality of our furniture and service, we are disappointed to have received your one star review.
After speaking to you on the phone in response to your review, we understand that you have been completely satisfied with the bespoke furniture we handmade for you in 2014.
We are proud to offer our customers a service to replace their cushions in the future. This allows our customers to enjoy their furniture over many decades.
There are many companies that do not offer this service.
When replacing the cushion interiors, we also strongly recommend replacing the cushion covers. The reason for this is the original covers will have likely stretched a little over time and may not provide a perfect fit for the new interiors.
We are sorry that this information wasnât conveyed clearly when we originally discussed this with you.
We would politely offer the thought that after almost 7 years of enjoying the furniture we made for you in 2014, this minor indiscretion on our part could have been dealt with over a phone call or email, rather than posting a one star review, which on reflection seems to disregard the quality of the furniture we produced for you back in 2014 and the service you received up to the point where we advised you would need to replace both the interiors and the covers.
As agreed, we have offered as a gesture of goodwill to only replace the foam interiors on this occasion, with the caveat that the fit may not be perfect.
I trust this addresses the concerns you have raised in your one star review.
Best wishes
Matt Deighton

Update after a couple of years of use
UPDATE:
We have had our sofa bed for almost 3 years now and, unfortunately, I have to lower the rating.
The reason:
The sofa bed has become extremely uncomfortable. You can literally feel each and every spring. It is impossible to sleep on it.
The sofa still looks optically great though.
First, we received all the samples we wanted, then clarified the delivery options (2nd floor, very narrow entrance angle, restricted parking area).
The delivery was perfect, well organised and absolutely fuss free.
But the best thing is the sofa itself. Excellent quality, we love it! All our guests also always comment on how terrific it looks.
Thanks a lot, Timeless Chesterfields.

Our experience of buying the TimelessâŠexcellent
Our experience of buying the Timeless Chesterfields sofa and chairs was excellent. They were all very helpful from the moment of choosing the product to the moment of receiving the Sofa and chairs at home. We were really impressed with the way they sent us different types and colors of leather samples in order to help us make the right decision. Whatever questions we had were instantly answered. We felt very safe of ordering the products over the internet as they gave us a lot of support. We were very satisfied and happy with the service and the workmanship of the products.

Very happy
We ordered online whilst in lockdown but read a lot about the company and furniture first as it's quite an expensive purchase.
We weren't disappointed. Delivery was easy and the guys set up the furniture for us.
We had a traditional oxblood corner sofa and stool. The quality is just luxurious.
It's a little hard right now as with most new furniture, although it is comfortable.
I expect it to soften over the years and last us for a very long time.
