Found TRA online after my tax debt from a failed small business started catching up to me. The consultation felt surprisingly normal, not pushy. They explained payment options and what negotiating with the IRS might realistically look like. Pretty straightforward, no complaints

The agent was knowledgeable and very patient with me.

I contacted Tax Relief Advocates after I got a certified letter from the IRS that scared the life out of me. I had been ignoring the problem for months because hey, I’m not a tax expert and I have no idea how to handle taxes. The representative I spoke with did not rush me and actually listened to how I ended up in that spot, and it has been so peaceful knowing someone is handling it instead of me losing sleep over it.

For those whom, like myself was very worried and a little confused at the whole process of dealing with the IRS and penalties this is the place to go. Melissa Mayo was extremely helpful and very patient with me. She has a deep understanding of how to put the whole process to work for me and almost immediately at that. Very polite and intuitive, it was her demeaner that helped me get over my fears and helped reassure me everything was going to be fine. That kind of personal one on one help is priceless and often unheard of in this day and age. Very impressive. Thank you team, keep up the good work!!!

I called upset and Heidi , Rosalina and Juan helped me calm down and get back to normal. The process is long but I think it will be worth the effort. Thanks to TRA.

When trying to decide who to reach out to, to assist me with my tax related issue, I considered and spoke to all of the usual suspects. Then I heard an ad for TRA on the radio. I reached out and almost immediately I felt as if I had a "partner" in my journey. While I will say that it did take a bit to "get going" once my case was handed to Andres Esparza it has been nothing short of exceptional.

Andres takes my call every single time, unless he is out of the office. He is responsive to my emails and since taking ownership of my case, I have never wondered where we are in the process.

I am thankful for TRA, but mostly Andres!!!

DO NOT USE THEM. My husband owed the IRS money so he decided to call TRA. He signed up with them got all his paperwork and they took his $595 upfront fee. After not hearing from our representative I told him to cancel it. It was within the 3 day cancellation window. He signed the cancellation notice and I send it to them. The representative still (Macy) did not get back to us until a week later. In between this time we had put a dispute on the account. This was at the beginning of December. She advised that the money would be refunded when the dispute was resolved. The dispute was resolved and I forwarded her all the paperwork from the bank that she continued to ask for. Now it is going on February and I keep getting the run around that we have not received anything from the bank. I emailed the paperwork to her from the bank. They still have not refunded any of the money. And it’s the beginning of February. I took care of the IRS myself. Stay away from them!

Top notch customer service people and really helpful client portal for document viewing and Uploading. Most recently spoke with Alex F. when I needed help and she was quick to dial into my status as a client. Very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with!

Tax Relief Advocates took a very scary and complicated situation and turned it into a very positive outcome. They know what they are doing and they do it very well! ALLY is amazing! She gave me a sense of calm when things were getting difficult, and guided me through the process to a much better outcome than I had anticipated. SAL has been very helpful as well. Everyone that I have worked with through this process really seems to have the client's best interest at heart, and when you are in this type of situation, that is exactly what you need!

In the final steps of preparing for the resolution phase, NEGIN was extremely helpful, reassuring, and patient. This has been a much more positive experience than I had expected!
