As an Englishman in Portugal looking to repatriate to the UK,I was looking for the best service at a realistic price, my experience with TP was to achieve this ambition.
From start to finish their service was superb!
My genuine advice to others is to make the same choice, you will not be disappointed.

Trans-Portugal has served me before and it has just excelled again. As the UK left the EU, the paperwork to move goods accross has changed. No worries. From Catarina to Clara and all staff without exception, they explained what the process would be like, from arranging a collection and delivery dates that suited me, to keeping the goods stored safely in between, and taking care of all the paperwork. I only had to give them the dates - they took care of everything for me. No stress, no worries, no fuss. They fulfilled their promisses and delivered their services in a very friendly, efficient, professional and trustworthy manner. A very rare exceedingly pleasant experience. Thank you, Trans-Portugal, and all your staff both in Portugal and in the UK. Will continue to use your services and to recommend you to anyone whom may need it. This move by TP-International was by far the best having previously made two others eight years ago. The staff were kind, good natured, very helpful and efficient, which contributed to a stress free experience. Everything was exceptionally well packed to avoid damage.

We obtained a few quotes for our house move from Oxford to Central Portugal. What convinced us to use Trans-Portugal, was how friendly and helpful they were in explaining the process, and that level of personal communication continued throughout. The teams in both UK and Portugal were professional and efficient, the paperwork went without a hitch, and all our property was superbly-wrapped for international transit (we did most of the boxing up ourselves, but TP wrapped our kitchen and fragile items). They also stored our goods at their warehouse until we were ready to take delivery. Excellent from start to finish!

We had a nightmare with another mover and this team completely saved the day. They chased the other company, kept us updated, stayed late to take delivery, and somehow managed to reassemble all our furniture from the chaos it arrived in.

Exceptional. Only way to move from UK to PT. Packed carefully, whisked through customs with minimal fuss. Great communication, family business. Its really the ONLY way to move from the UK to Portugal and saved me from the nightmare I've heard so much about!

I contacted Trans-Portugal through a recommendation and I’m pleased I did.
From beginning to end their service was exceptional.
I relied on them to advise me what I needed for my move.
One of their specialist team visited and gave me a thorough run through of what I should expect and how I could prepare.
Within 24 hours I received an email confirming what was discussed and a competitive quotation.
I was very happy thus far and confirmed a booking.
A week before the move I received a reminder email checking all was still on schedule and confirmation of the removals team arrival time.
In the day, the team were prompt, reassuring and extremely careful with my belongings. Make the move seem easy, each member had their tasks planned out, as some were dismantling upstairs, others were loading the vans.
Equally upon arrival at the new house, the unload and reassemble of the large goods was prompt and seamless.

We used the company twice and all products have been delivered in perfect condition. On the day that the furniture was delivered we could see that the delivery staff took care of the products. Highly recommend this company because they took care of the delivery from the first day to the last.

After an exorbitant quote from another moving company we're so glad we were recommended TP. We sent a photo of our boxed possessions and they provided a very reasonable quote to ship the lot from Manchester UK to their storage facility outside Lisbon. Again storage costs didn't break the bank and after 9 month's they delivered to our new home. Both office and van staff were cheery, professional and helpful. TP also picked up and moved a smaller load of items from our rental flat to the new home in a similar manner. Will recommend to other ex pats.

Despite acknowledging damaging items in both transportation and storage, this company refuses to communicate with regard to compensation. On final transportation from storage they insisted on payment up front. This, in good faith, we did only to suffer further damage to items. Communication was initially extremely rude and then simply non-existent. Will actively advise people NOT to use this company and am progressing a complaint with the Ombudsman.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with a removal company. Initially, they quoted me €830 (excluding VAT) for a job moving my belongings from a city an hour outside Lisbon. However, less than 24 hours before the move, they abruptly raised the price to €1,100, claiming a miscommunication. This sudden hike, especially at €250 per hour for a four-hour job, was completely unreasonable. When I cancelled, they charged a 10% fee on the entire new amount, not the deposit, keeping over €100. This was due to their mistake and last-minute price increase, which is completely unacceptable. A full refund should have been provided.

Great service from collection in London to delivery in Portugal. We've used multiple times and there's never any drama. We've also used their storage service in Lisbon. Would highly recommend.

With deep gratitude and appreciation, my husband Manu and me Levina would like to put on record the exceptional service we received from the very first call we made which Clara, Sales Director responded to. We tried all possible ways to move our belongings to Portugal before getting in touch with TP international which we were not aware off. Once we spoke to Clara, she had an answer to every hurdle we faced and made it so easy. The whole team was so joyful and genuinely helpful. They were so careing in handling the boxes and those we were unable to pack, they did it with such reasonable price. They stored our shipment for a tiny fee and delivered the shipment intact to our address in Leiria.

Wow. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. They are brilliant Nothing is a problem for them We had a huge complex move. They sorted everything. Made the whole move work like clockwork. they really know their stuff. And couldn’t be a nicer bunch of people to work with. And I’ve no idea how they do it all for the price !!

Trans-Portugal did a wonderful job transporting 7 boxes of material from the UK to Coimbra University. They collected them from my home, sorted all the customs clearance and delivered them quickly at a good price. I was previously let down by online delivery companies who did not deliver, returned the items and charged me twice (avoid ParcelHero and TNT). With Trans-Portugal there was someone to discuss the shipment with and knowledge that if there was any question about the delivery they would get back to me. As it was, all went smoothly and they just delivered. They are a family firm and care about their customers. I can't thank them enough

I found Trans-Portugal, the family business with great and strong reviews gave me confidence, and my first call to them gave me confidence as well because shows great transport knowledge, very professional and polite customer service staff and answered to all my questions, about rates, transport, and formalities.
I booked them for collect a few my very fragile personal items from London to Lisbon, everything runs very well without any issues, brilliant service.

Trans-Portugal were clear in their communication all through the process of our move from the UK to Portugal, and always helpful. They took very great care of our belongings, and were very efficient in all aspects of the process.

We used their warehouse in Portugal as storage for about half a year as well (for a fee).

Their prices are somewhat expensive, but it is well worth it to know that your belongings are taken care of.

I recommend their service to anyone doing a similar move.
