We were led to believe that insurance documents would be sent to us in the post but these have not been received.
Review posted without fear or favour. Let the truth be told.
Triton aspirante shower purchased December 2024. at approximately £170. Unit did not work upon
installing. Engineer requested, leaving us without a shower unit for 3 weeks over Christmas. First of three fails. Engineer attended second week of January and fixed.
Second failure of unit December 2025. Unit attended to but water still leaking out of bottom of unit so it would appear the engineer did very little as the unit failed again in early february of 2026.
Third engineer visit booked. The Engineer failed to attend in the 4 hour estimated time slot and instead turned up an hour later. They decided to fine me £50 stating it was just an estimated time slot and they expected me to forfeit my daily graft for however long it took them to show. Totally unacceptable. So now I had spent £170 for one of tritons premium shower units, and a further £50 waiting for an engineer that never showed on time. At this point I wrote to them stating that the original unit needed to be replaced as it was dangerous and defective and leaking water from a live electrical shower. They failed to respond and just sent me a payment instruction for the £50 late showing of their engineer. So I still have no shower and I`m looking at £300 for a plumber to install a proper shower that actually works.
My experience, but this could be you that they fail also. Triton need to remember that they exist because of their customers and not despite them. Their greed and incompetence does not bode well for the future of their company or customers. Avoid them like you would the plague.
I was impressed with the advice and help I received from the customer service, and was happy with what I ordered. On receipt of the new shower I liked the quality of the unit and the accessories.
I was disappointed to find however that there were no printed instructions but they were online. Unfortunately, I didn't have any useful phone signal and couldn't open the site. This meant that I had to assume what to do. I'm sure it would be reasonably inexpensive to provide a set of printed instructions!

Triton power shower failure after 2 1/2 years. I asked them to come out and was quoted £179 for labour and any parts needed. I accepted this even knowing often the parts would be around £8 (solenoid or filters). However, they changed their minds when I said the ball o fix isolation valves (to turn the water off) were stiff and asked me to get a different plumber or someone else to turn them off first. Very shoddy practices. I feel for the less well off that get ripped off. Did job myself, took 5 minutes to clean filters once I got a good screwdriver to close valves.

I needed two heating cans for two showers that were deliberatly damaged by guests! The sales person I spoke to was good and quick as always and the cans arrived quickly. In 1988 I installed 14 Triton showers, I still have 14 Triton showers. They are good value and you can buy parts if needed.

I have two showers in my bath room. One connected to the hot water supply and an old Galaxy electric shower. I never used the electric shower, but to remove it would have left an unsightly mess of wiring and pipework, so I left it in place. Then the mixer valve started leaking. As the Galaxy was so old, spares were no longer available, so I sourced a replacement based on the electrical and water inlet positions of the Galaxy. I ended up buying a Triton shower from an eBay shop. I had it installed, by a plumber as it was, in effect a like for like switchover. From the get go the Triton shower never supplied any hot water at all on any of the heat settings. All that came out of it was cold water. The plumber checked the Thermal Cut Off with a multimeter and said that there was no continuity.
I contacted the eBay seller who then referred me to Triton. I explained the problem to Triton and requested that they send me a replacement TCO that my plumber could fit.
Triton refused and said that they would send an engineer. I said that I didn't want an engineer just the TCO, which I could then have fitted at my own convenience. Triton said that if they sent me a TCO and I got someone else to fit it, then my warranty would be invalidated. I said that was no problem. As the main reason for installing the shower was to cover up where the old leaking shower was, I doubted that it would matter if it had a warranty or not as it would hardly be used anyway. I'd just spent the best part of £250 and it would be nice to have a working shower for that. Triton sent an engineer anyway.
The engineer said that the flow rate wasn't sufficient. He said that I needed to use the Triton shower head that came with the unit and not the Super Soft Shower mineral shower head one that matched my other shower head. He said that this type of showerhead was specicifically not for electric showers. Afterwards, checked the supersoftshower.com website and they specifically state that "Shower heads from Super Soft Shower are designed to be used with both Domestic and Professional Systems. They are compatible with electric, combi boiler, gravity fed and pressurised systems.". The engineer didn't even turn the shower on to check the flow or to see that there was only cold water coming out. I explained that the water had never warmed up since day one, at least it should have got a bit warm. He said that this was because of the lack of flow. I don't know how TCOs work, but I would have thought that they turned the power to the heating elements off if the water got too hot. If the TCO had been working, then the water would have got very hot and then the TCO would have operated. The engineer then tested the Thermal Cut Off switch with a multimeter and said that there was no continuity. I had explained this at the start, saying that the plumber said that the TCO was defective. The engineer refused to fit or supply a new TCO, sticking to his lack of flow reason. I suspected that the real reason was that he didn't have a replacement TCO in his car.
A new TCO is only £13.98 and although it stuck in my throat a bit to have to buy one from Triton, at least I would have working shower even if I wasn't intending to use it. Ordering was a snip and the part arrived via DPD the following morning. I rang the plumber. He popped in and swapped the TCO over. Straightaway I had hot water. What I also got was a £99 invoice from Trition for a user generated fault. They were blaming the faulty TCO on low water flow due to me not using a Triton showerhead. I got a bucket and measured how long it took for the Triton showerhead to put 5 litres of water on the warmest setting into the bucket and repeated the exercise with my chrome showerhead. My showerhead had a higher water flow!
I thought to myself "Why would Triton say that it was a water flow problem?". That brought me to TrustPilot.
I am not alone in the Triton low water flow diagnosis.
There are other Triton customers who have had £99 invoices following a low water flow diagnosis.
Why wouldn't the engineer replace the TCO? Because if he did, that would be admitting that it wasn't a low water flow problem and then Triton couldn't issue a £99 invoice. That's my review of the Triton warranty.
As for the shower itself.
Now that it has a TCO that is defective, it works just fine. The water gets as hot as is needed. The flow through my Super Soft Shower head is fine and dandy. In fact, I'm going to use it from now on as this will be the only way to test the engineer's lack of water flow diagnosis. Will I be paying Triton's £99 invoice. I think not. Will Triton refund me on the TCO that I had to buy from them? I think not. Will I have any warranty? Not after having a new TCO fitted. Would I recommend Triton showers? All of the electric showers out there are made of practically identical components, so they all the same. But Triton as a company? NO.
