This is a scam. Do not purchase from this gentlemen. Super nice guy, but be. Cautious. Took months to deliver and rescheduled over 7 times. Then promised a refund for several weeks and blamed my bank. My bank suggested I dispute the charges so that they could investigate why it wasn’t getting refunded. Turns out Joe (Gymtech owner) never sent the refund and actually responded to the dispute by sending my bank a letter saying he’d delivered the treadmill. All the while, telling me the money was sent from his end and it has to be my bank. Whole 3 months of this was a nightmare just to not get a treadmill.

There was lots of follow up via email, but it was very clear that they were not interested in coming out to determine the problem, and at the final stage of communication, they wanted us to cut the mats off of our treadmills! We had not had a precise diagnosis as to what exactly was going on with our treadmills. We have absolutely no experience with treadmill maintenance and repair and did not want to go ahead with cutting the mats as this sounded extreme and at this stage we were unsure on the information we had provided if this was actually required or not.

We sought help from a different provider FitQuip.
Aaron was fantastic. He came in that week and fixed both treadmills within 15 minutes, adjusting a bolt and giving the treadmills a full clean and maintenance. We/he did not need to remove/cut the treadmill matting & both treadmills are running exceptionally well now. We were extremely happy with the service and the cost from FITQUIP.

Gymtechs advice on the limited information we provided was unsatisfactory and would have seen us with longer down time on our treadmills and undoubtedly more cost in replacing the mats. I am putting forward my concern for other customers that I was extremely unhappy with what now seems an incorrect diagnosis of our treadmill problem. I feel they truly neglected their real duty of care and responsibility. If our encounter is anything to go by, they may be offering incorrect advice to most people, and disadvantaging their clients and their clients customers, both financially, and hindering business needs/getting the equipment operational again/having to purchase new equipment due to inaccurate information. We are so thankful we used common sense and did not go ahead and use them.

We hope this information encourages you to find a different gym equipment technician who can be accurate in determining the issue because they actually come out and look at the equipment, which shows the care factor of actually helping the customer and getting it right.

The site is a fraud. I paid in May 8, I received a confirmation of the payment under the #1008-FR and despite my numerous mails (there is no phone to call) I eceived neither the short nor an answer. I will go now legally as I am lawyer

I bought the original shorts with the four pads just at the beginning of the pandemic. When I received them I was excited because my physiotherapist told me to add this into my routine as I was trying to rehabilitate after dealing with Lyme disease. After a few sessions it triggered severe sciatic pain and I emailed them right away saying I need to return these and the response was "we explained if you have health problems not to buy them you can't send them back" despite them saying there was a 90-day return policy. Just made absolutely no sense to me or my physiotherapist because a true EMS machine or TENS machine should not make someone dealing with a condition like myself worse.

So fast forward it is now 2022, I'm doing a lot better with my health and I want to start using them again. (keep in mind I've only used them twice.. ) the pads on them have zero stickiness left and they were stored exactly as instructed. They were not very great to begin with either.
I emailed them asking for new pads and how do I go about getting them and nobody has emailed me back. I would not waste your money on these shorts as a tens machine with EMS setting works just as well if not better I'm speaking from experience.

i ordered shorts in 2020 and they came and worked great. Now I bought the new shorts for a friend and need new pads and I have not heard anything back.... if they went under there has got to be some legal action to be taken.

SCAM!! Don’t buy this I wish I read the reviews before !! I Received my pair of shorts in August they only worked A few times I emailed them but they didn’t want to give me my money back!! they said they were going to send me another pair instead!! THEY DID SENT ANOTHER USELESS PAIR!! After that I haven’t been able to contact anybody I sent them emails and they never responded!!

No response after purchase. Been waiting since October 2021. No reply through email nothing just a SCAM

I ordered my shorts back In October and it’s now March and I never received them. This guy is over here getting rich off of a scam. Don’t buy anything from this company it’s a scam!!

I never received my order since December 2021, and when you send emails, it bounce back.

No product will send to you after you pay.

Really liked the shorts but I’ve reached out via email, their contact form and even IG dms trying to order replacement pads. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to get in touch with them just to give them more money but my shorts are pretty useless now that the original pads aren’t sticky anymore… I feel like a lot of the recent trust pilot reviews are ghosting/not receiving orders so maybe the company failed or something ?

I like many others ordered and was sent an email saying my package was delivered! But nothing was delivered. I have emailed the company with NO response. I sent an email to my "dedicated Gymtech Specialist" but the email bounced back as no longer an address. SCAM

Never received the product and never received a response to my 10+ emails

I have ordered my short since 23 Jan. I have emailed them 4 times to their so called “respond in hours” email address and still haven’t got any response. Instead I kept getting their auto generated useless messages about how they could help. Also got an email that said “your product should have been delivered” while I haven’t even got a tracking number. My money is paid but I don’t know where my order is.

Never received product, I’ve emailed three different times regarding product and delivery, never heard back from anyone. But I still receive emails from company to rate product and telling me it’s been delivered. I am currently trying to cancel payment through my bank. It’s actually laughable because the CEO of company emails you directly and says you can respond to this email and within hours someone will reply and yet still nothing.

I really like these shorts. I have the original version, with 4 pads in the back. I have bought replacement pads (1 year supply), and I do see a difference after a few weeks of daily use. People at work asked me if I was working out (no I dont lol). I'm naturally skinny and curvy, 5"4, 120lbs. My body type, all my fat goes to my thighs and butt. These shorts toned my bum, and made it really perky and round. I live a fairly active lifestyle where I am walking and running around for at least 2 hours of my day, and with these shorts, that seems to be enough to keep myself looking great. I hope I am able to buy more replacement pads in the future, that's my only concern at this point as I'm no longer seeing an option on the Gymtech website.

I NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT RESPOND, I PLACED MY ORDER IN JAN 07 AND TODAY NOTHING!! OBVIOUSLY I AM IN THE PROCESS WITH PAYPAL TO GET MY MONEY BACK!! YOU AVOID THIS!!
BE CAREFUL, YOUR MONEY MAY BE STOLEN!!!! AND YOUR TIME!!!

Made order on October, it never came.
I'm asking for refund 2 months now, needless to say - they are ignoring all requests and just don't reply.
Some of the email addresses which were active on October are disabled now.
Bringing this up via my bank and legals.
Need to get rid of such irresponsible business owners.
