On my mothers death we decided to go with a bigger law firm rather than mums small local one , innorder to get the probate done due to a family members illness, we had a desire to sort this ASAP

My mum lived a simple life. Her assets were few and she left everything in order
For us ....
We were amazed at her thought to lable
Her folder and the 3 bank/ saving account s and their sort codes
She had a modest house all paid for
Despite us needing to get this probate done as quickly as possible , the lawyer assigned to us was oossibly the slowest lawyer i have ever come across ... either she was away or on leave and very diffiuclt to get hold of
Even though i spoke at length about this all she persisted in charging us for hours of unwanted investigation in to my dads will / probate( he had left everything to mu mum 10 years ago
I think i would nt have minded spending the extortionate amount of money if we felt that she had got on with it ....

But she did nt
Alison brunsdon however the para legal secretary was fantastic
No nonesense. Replied with intelligible e mails not the very dense ones our lawyer would send us
And got the last bit of this probate done in a jiffy .....
