I inadvertently applied for my passport through this site not realizing it wasn't the official UK Govt site. I should have been more diligent I admit.
It advertises all very helpful things like " offering professional advice, assistance, solutions and ongoing support to clients, helping to avoid delays, errors and unnecessary stress. This whole process ended up being stressful from day one!!
All the email's you get are generic....nothing personal as quoted "Email us for personalized, real human replies". I emailed them 4 times with questions and not one was answered....just the same generic email was sent back. 2 callback requests were made....nothing in return.
Nothing was simple about this process....the communication process is slow and confusing.
I ended up calling HM Passport Office and got more help in one phone call than I did over the 3 months of applying.
As soon as you're application is received at the Passports Office you are pretty well much ghosted. No email's to let you know how things are going even when they say they" maintain direct communication with the Passport office and monitor applications daily to ensure prompt progress".
Feel this whole set up is not very truthful in their advertising and a rip off for the so-called "Professional experience" they are meant to provide.
Lesson learnt to be more careful when applying for things online.

This is a scam office located in Florida, USA with apparently satellite offices around the world processing British passports.
Instead they charge exorbitant fees, stall your application, send you incorrect information, add extra fees and then suddenly radio silence!
You might even be lucky enough to have a passive-aggressive phone call from one of their Passport Consultants who will try and make you think that it's you making mistakes, not them and their dodgy service.
Just don't get caught, because once you've paid your fees, you can as good as guaranteed kiss those and your British passport goodbye!
