I started using Hammock several weeks ago and I am really impressed. It is clearly designed specifically for landlords unlike most other accounting software providers which are designed to be more generic. Everything is easy to use, well laid out and tailored to managing rental properties.

What makes it even better is the support team Matt and James have both been incredibly helpful and always quick to respond and happy to guide me through any questions I had. Nothing felt like too much trouble.

I am now confidently managing my accounts, preparing for Making Tax Digital and keeping everything up to date monthly. Highly recommended to any landlord who wants software that specifically reflects the needs of landlords

I'm an accountant and I've started using Hammock for my landlord clients. What a beautiful piece of software! The first client I added engaged with it straight away and is now happily using it to manage her portfolio, but at the same time I am getting the accounting information I need.

I'd also like to flag up the outstanding customer service. James Kilpatrick has been incredibly helpful, not just in providing demos and tips on how to get started, but also several months in when I had an issue that I needed sorting out. He stepped in and fixed it for me and sent a personal update email. I am so impressed with them as a business - I genuinely feel like a valued customer.

I have been using Hammock for two years now, as it was the recommended software to use for MTD, by my accountants.
I have happily stopped using my Excel spreadsheets in favour of Hammock. Their software is very user friendly and uncomplicated.
Matthew Perkins is always quick to respond to any queries and a pleasure to deal with.
I thoroughly recommend Hammock for your MTD needs and thank them for taking away the stress of preparing the figures for landlords tax returns.

As a former director of a lettings agency and an experienced portfolio landlord, I am accustomed to testing and using property software.

I signed up to Hammock’s free trial a few weeks ago - there has of course been a learning curve as with any unfamiliar software, however the support I have received from Matt has been outstanding, both by email and phone.

Having used spreadsheets for my own property accounts for the past 15 years, I am delighted to have found a user friendly, economical alternative.

It's not so easy as one gets older to try to stay with modern technology and news of the HMRC's proposed move to MTD was worrying to me. After some research I have committed to Hammock, and have basically got the hang of their system. However, I did get myself in a bit of a muddle the other day and received very sympathetic and helpful advice in rectifying the problem. I now feel much more confident in using the system and sincere thanks to Matt and the team for all your help so far; I now know that I have a good back-up team to see me through to a competent level in their system. As old school and not very tech minded I was using Excel spreadsheet. I signed up with Hammock early as we fall into the MTD bracket next year and wanted to familiarise myself with the programme. The support when requested has been first class and has given me confidence as I go along exploring Hammock. If like me you are not a techie I can recommend Hammock.

Hammock and especially Matthew Perkins who has given me loads of support to help me set up the software for making tax digital. Anyone who is looking for the right software, required by HMRC and you chose to use Hammock, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing service from the first meeting. Efficient clear start up and excellent service, training and help along the way. We now have all properties uploaded and a fully working CRM system within a few weeks. Couldn’t fault Hammock, James or any of the team. Would well recommend.

Recently started using Hammock as I bravely (!!) volunteered to start MTD early. I already use Quickbooks for my other business, but wanted some software that was tailored to property income. I'm very impressed so far as it does everything I need and a little bit more (annual reminders for gas safety inspections etc) Best of all Hammock is run by real human beings who are incredibly responsive to any questions you send their way. I also attended one of their webinars which was a live demonstration by a real human (again!) with no dry slideshow - HMRC could learn a thing or two! Sadly this review page seems to have attracted some crazies, ignore them, perhaps the rival software developers are getting nervous?! Always good practice with any company on trustpilot to check reviewers' history and disregard any who have only reviewed one company!

Having bounced around on a couple of platforms this software hits all of what I need to continue to grow the portfolio and business along with monitoring my payments in and out for tenants. Matthew has been very helpful and patient with me while my business portfolio gets on-boarded allowing me booked calls to go over any singular areas im struggling with. 3 months in and its really starting to click into place.

Very Big Scammer company, and unprofessional people are here. They are all fake review and fake content here. The owner is very Rude and big scammer. I wouldn't recommend.

I have trawled the market for Landlord MTD software for quite a while. After reading The Independent Landlord newsletter by Suzanne I took the plunge and trialled Hammock for 2 months free (need to follow Suzanne's link or it will only be 1 month) After reading/watching all the training tube videos (Yes a bloke reading instructions!)
So now 3 days in, I am very impressed with the software and the price and will begin subscribing at the end of the trial.
I had a couple of queries and these were sorted out immediately over the phone by James who was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a lovely person - not a BOT!

I have recently signed up to Hammock. I find it a very well thought through way of managing the finances for my property portfolio. It takes some time to set up but now I wouldn't be without it, notwithstanding the HMRC making tax digital requirement Hammock is worth the fee in order to keep my finger on the pulse of what is happening with my portfolio.

This is what we Landlords are talking about!! Where has this been all our lives??
Hammock is a god send, super easy and intuitive, and there is ALWAYS someone there to help, when things seem a little complicated.
Absolutely amazing product that makes tax return a laughable 2 min effort, and it actually has real people helping you out if you need it. Thank you Hammock, oh thank you!!

I’ve only been using Hammock for one week and I’m hooked! Like many I put off going digital preferring my trusty old spreadsheets but wow, this software is a game changer. I only decided to try MTD before it becomes mandatory and thank goodness I found Hammock.

Set up was not the easiest but is improving all the time. It is already saving me so much admin time and my accountant loves it too. Support and guidance is always on hand where needed from an excellent customer support team so there’s nothing holding you back from ditching those spreadsheets! I cannot rate this software highly enough.

This is the first platform I’ve used for my property management and accounting, having relied on an organised, but time consuming, system of paperwork before.
The free trial is brilliant, the platform impressive and the customer service exemplary. In a world of chatbots it’s great to talk to a person and see their face!

Such great customer service. I have needed additional support and they are always helpful and patient and help me navigate to the solutions. They walk me through everything so my confidence and knowledge is growing.

The interface and ease of understanding is much superior to the previous system I was using and at a much better price when I only have one rental property. It seems everything can be automated as transactions are recognised from my Halifax bank statement and assigned to the correct property with the appropriate percentage letting fees applied and reconciled automatically. The tax report gives me all the figures I need to easily complete my tax return and splits the return between my wife and myself as joint property owner based on the percentage I specify. (50% in my case). Pleased that MTD compatibility is high on their agenda, so when we are required to report to HMRC more regularly, this will be easily done. Hoping that there will not be price increases to cover this though!

After some initial difficulties setting up - Matt was super at supporting me and making any amends that I was struggling with.
Even over Easter weekend !!!
