For such a young guy - Harry was so professional, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and informative.
He made buying my car feel such a special experience and took time showing me how everything worked in the car - inc the ‘self park’ which I’d have been too scared to try myself.
I felt Harry & his lovely boss Lucy really appreciated my custom - I just wish their showroom was closer - as I’d love it to be my ‘local mini dealer’ !

Our dealing with staff at vertu mini in york was extremely positive. The staff were friendly and professional and explained in clear terms the workings of the vechicle.

However putting QR codes instead of prices on the windows of cars on the forecourt is one of the most customer unfriendly sales initiatives I have seen. A complete turn off to many customers.

Katie made our experience great, we traveled up to Vertu York to see if their prices were cheaper than other garages, they certainly were. Katie made the whole process of selling our car and purchasing a new Renault Captur much easier, she even helped with our poor use of technology! Even when we couldn’t pick the car up as planned due to a bereavement she said’Just take your time, do it at your own pace’ When we collected the car Katie showed us around the different features, ensuring we were confident before we left. All the staff we met were friendly and smart in appearance, the garage was clean and tidy, parking spots were well defined and busy!

I had a great experience buying my new mini, nothing was too much and Carl was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely come back again or recommend it to others looking for a mini.

The process of exchanging cars at Vertu in York was refreshingly helpful and we thank Andrew for his assistance and his help in getting the new car to us when we were temporarily unable to collect due to illness.

Great help and advice at all stages of the process of buying our new Mini. Very clear explanation of the car features and finance options. The handover experience was very helpful in making sure we were fully set up as we left the dealership.

The whole process was easy and all the staff were friendly and welcoming, I was told everything i needed to no and my questions were answered with great detail, from entering the building to picking up the car on handover day.

The salesperson Jack was professional and helpful throughout the process.
In fact, the contact with Vertu BMW York, both on the phone and in person, was very much customer orientated. Everything about the vehicle and finance was explained clearly. Even the Sales Manager, Chris, who had used the car for the previous 6 months, came to greet us and answer any question we may have had.
I even spoke to a gentleman who was clearing the forecourt as I was picking up the car, who asked me was I buying the car and was I happy with it. When I asked him what he did at the garage, he explained that he was the General Sales Manager and he was just helping out to help clear up at the end of the day. I was surprised, but it just added to the positive customer experience.

We enjoyed looking for a new car with your Sales Representative and he was so professional and we could understand everything he said and did.Really nice and friendly bloke.

The service here was amazing. Jack sold me my car and was very knowledgeable. There were no ‘pushy’ sales techniques and he explained everything thoroughly. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend anyone to go here.

What was not good was the remote head office if that is what it was. The irritation of talking to people In Newcastle?, who could not care less pretending to be in York. The head office electronic paper work, that didn’t work. The cancellation message I got just before I set off to pickup my car. You need to look at this, we also have a BMW from York and we have problems with your northern HQ. What a pity to spoil the service provided locally.
