Thoroughly recommend Vertu Motors Northampton. Havent had the best experiences with car sales people in the past but the lovely gentleman Will certainly restored my faith in them. He kept in contact from start to finish but not the annoying bugging kind where you feel pressured into something. He was completely honest and trustworthy and I knew exactly what was what where needed. Enjoyed my experience of purchasing my new car and feel really pleased with how quick the process was. My purchase of a car from Vertu was very good, I dealt with Sunil Savio who made the whole buying experience very easy , when I did find a fault with the car upon delivery, Sunil immediately arranged one of their local branches to put it right, So very pleased with the service.

Great Car, Great People: Highly recommend
Shayne made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. Super helpful and no quibble getting the car I wanted transferred from another Vertu dealership to save me travelling miles to view it. Kept informed of progress and taken through everything in an easy to understand manner. Top marks 👌

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - AVOID
Edit: 1 Oct 25 - Still no response. Can't imagine buying a car from this branch and having to deal with this non-existent customer service if I have any car issues.
EDIT: 23 Sept 25 - It has been more than one week since we sent the details of event to Andrew Phillips (Branch Manager) and Nicholas Murphy (General Manager) after they asked for it. No response since. This clearly shows consistency in disgusting customer service up to senior management level. Warning for those considering to buy from this branch
Terrible Experience – Avoid!
We visited Citroen in Northampton on 13 Sept 2025 to see the e-C3, but the salesperson’s first words were, “Are you buying a car today?” He kept repeating it and even said we could only test drive if we were going to buy, not for a “joy ride.” Extremely rude, desperate and unprofessional. We called Citroen customer service for the manager’s contact but never got a callback which clearly shows poor service from upper management level. We walked out and went to Mercedes instead, where the experience was night and day better.
It was our first time to Citroen and this happened within the first 5 minutes of us being there. If this is how Citroen treats potential customers, imagine the aftersales service. Warning for those considering to buy from this brand.
This person arrogantly allowed us to take his photo ( see photo in Google review)

After having a very bad experience with another dealership I was very surprised at how friendly, informative and easy it was with Vertu, Sales representative Shayne at your Northampton branch was excellent, he made the process very smooth and an enjoyable experience purchasing our new car.
