Exceptional customer service
Stephen at Vertu Honda has been absolutely amazing. Very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and he answered all of our questions over a lovely cup of coffee!! We felt very at ease with Stephen and we trust we have made the right decision in dealing with him. The customer service has been exceptional and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stephen and the team at Vertu Honda. He really is a credit to the company.

Shopping for a BMW
Having decided we would like to buy a 1 series BMW , my wife and I decided on a day out in the Durham area, I had located 4 different cars in close proximity, surely we’d find one we liked..
We viewed 3 of the 4 car , some were scruffy, some had hardly been washed, let alone inspected or serviced, some had sales staff that just weren’t interested in showing us the car unless we were prepared to sit down and discuss a deal!
Disillusioned with the used car trade, we reluctantly decided we might as well view the remaining car on the list whilst in the area…!
On arrival at Vertu Honda Durham we were greeted by Natalie, she immediately had us in an immaculate , beautifully presented black BMW, and let us take it out for a test drive, a completely different experience to the previous dealers…this car was ‘the one’.
I don’t buy cars very often, a notoriously difficult customer according to some friends, but Natalie made us feel at ease with the whole buying process, answered any queries I had , and made the trauma of parting with money relatively painless.

The worst aftercare customer service …
The worst aftercare customer service ive ever experienced. Ive owned my Honda civic over five years now which I bought from a Honda dealership.
Ive been taken my car to the Vertu Honda Durham dealership the best part of the five years now.
During this time ive spent thousands of pounds on my car with receipts to proove it, on repairs some due to wear and tear and some definitley not. I had to replace the rear suspension the 2nd year, I asked honda to split the cost with me because it wasnt a wear and tear issue given the age and mileage my car had at the time and they refused.
Ive had my alloy wheels damaged on numerous occassions whilst my car was under the care of Honda having four tyres replaced and I had to replace them again only a year later, they were well under the warantee mileage, most recently I had the inter cooling system replaced last year, I recently had an oil change and they didnt even use the correct oil advised by the guidlines in the service book, thats right.....of course they used a cheaper oil, ive got the receipt to proove it, If you do decide to take your car to Vertu Honda in Durham make sure you take a quick video of your car just incase it comes back with damage what wasnt there before you took it in.
My overall 5 years experience with Vertu Honda Durham is a very poor one, the management are very unprofessional and in complete denial if you raise any issue which lays the blame on them, they are incapable of dealing with it and lack any professional courstey or communication skills. I would personally avoid Vertu Honda Durham like the plague.

Overall good experience
A straightforward no pressure experience. From booking a viewing and test drive to receiving the keys it was overall a pleasant experience. The sales person was experienced, friendly and knowledgeable. A couple of minor issues with small dents and chips to the paintwork maybe should have been addressed via Vertu's Used Car Preparation policy is the only real negative issue.

Natalie the saleswoman was excellent to deal with, very professional. At no point did I feel that she was pushing me into a deal I didn't want, she listened and gave great advice. The garage itself had a good range of available vehicles.

This Vertu Honda dealership is awesome
This Honda dealership goes out of its way to make sure you get the best deal, the best service and a fantastically prepared car! I just bought a used Civic which was immaculately prepared in and out when I came to pick it up, Andrea who worked so hard in making sure my car was perfect, from the personalised videos of the car during the decision making process, to the pre-pick up video, the whole experience was truly personal, friendly and competent. Highly recommend purchasing a vehicle here.
