We were very well looked after. very friendly and professional service. The car was well prepared and everything explained well.

The young man who dealt with us was very friendly and helpful and not at all pushy. He showed us around the available vehicles there and when none were catching the eye he found exactly what I was looking for at another branch and got it over for me. He kept me informed through the process and was again helpful when we went to collect it.

Ben was helpful and reassuring. Deal completed as quickly as expected

Your sales manager was excellent. He was very thorough and explained everything in the fullest detail. There was no pressure to buy. He identified the correct vehicle for me. It was a pleasure to deal with him and I hope to do so again next time I change cars.

I bought a new Grandland Ultimate from Vertu vauxhall Chesterfield.

The process and customer care was excellent and cannot rate them highly enough.

All the staff were amazing from the dealership to admin staff on the phone and especially Alan, who made sure everything went through smooth and was the best car salesman ive dealt with. Honest and working for the customer.

Very welcoming and I thought I was looked after well received good advice and any concerns I had were put at rest

I bought a car from the Chesterfield Vauxhall Vertu branch in February 2025. Unfortunately there was problem with the ad-blue system which recurred over and over again over the months I had the car. Eventually I decided to reject the car and Vertu replaced it with another (petrol) version). The new team at Chesterfield treated me very well, they were honest and supportive, there was no attempt to fob me off and when it came to replacing the car the change was done within days. I'd like to personally thank Sam Taylor and Alan Prior both of whom were a pleasure to deal with.
Buying a car through Vertu has meant that even though there were problems with the car I bought originally I did not lose out and I now have a vehicle I'm very happy with.
I'd recommend Vertu / Vertu Chesterfield to anyone.

Vertu Motors Chesterfield were very helpful with my enquiry for an MG3 used car. I needed to know everything about the vehicle as I live 70 miles from their garage.
I travelled to have a test drive in the car and was looked after by Rhys Brown and also met Tom the sales manager and Sam the general manager. All these people were very friendly and not at all pushy.
There were 4 minor faults on the car that they they promised to rectify for me as the car had been a demonstrator car owned by the Vertu group.
I bought the car and collected it the following week by travelling to Chesterfield on the train and being collected by Rhys at the rail station.
Everything promised had been completed to a brilliant standard so off home I went with my new motor 9 months old and 5300 miles on the clock.
Well done all at Chesterfield.

Collected my car today after Alan provided impeccable service, never known a salesman like him. Explained everything, fixed issues with the car before collection day and regularly kept in contact to keep me updated. 5 stars is not enough for Alan. Although he never did reveal the secrets to the hot chocolate.

It was a pleasure to deal with Ben and meet his manager who both went out of their way to provide a professional service and make us feel welcome. We will recommend them to both family and friends

From start to finish, we could not have wished for a better Sales Person than the one we got in Alan Prior, he was one of the best we have come across in all the time we have been with Vertu. He was courteous, thoughtful and very helpful in achieving what we needed. His professionalism was second to none and when the time comes, if we want to renew, we hope that he will still be there. The car arrived at Vertu Chesterfield, and to her word, as promised, I received the video, and she had highlighted a few minor scuffs and had those polished out at their onsite garage at Chesterfield. I was so happy. It also has a couple of extra features my Grey Juke was lacking so it was a win win situation.

The next issue was I was in Manchester, and the vehicle was in Chesterfield, Gemma offered to personally deliver the vehicle to Manchester for me but in the grand scheme of things, it was a least I could so a drive from Manchester to Chesterfield and meet this dynamic duo, Sam and Gemma!

I arrived at Vertu Chesterfield, and the feeling was so lovely and warm, I met both Sam and Gemma and they managed to really make me feel totally special – it was as if I was the only customer they had – it was beautiful.

We sat down and I signed all the paperwork, that was made easy too as Gemma had everything ready, so I was not delayed travelling back to Manchester on a Friday afternoon.

Vertu also re-issued my additional warranty which was lovely of them, my vehicle was taxed, and MOT’d too so was ready to go.

Sam came out of his office shook hands and said…. If there is anything whatsoever I needed in the future or have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact himself of Gemma and this would be sorted out swiftly.

Gemma then took me outside and introduced me to my new vehicle – oh it was beautiful, she had it valeted, and it was sparkling looking brand new. The time flew by and it was late on a Friday afternoon and Gemma said, would you like me to go through all the buttons in the Juke to show you how it works, I declined and said, it’s too late for her to start going through al the features plus, I had just relinquished my Grey Juke so I was confident the inside would be the same really - Gemma said… it doesn’t matter about the time I will stay late as I want you to be happy but I declined as I knew what all the buttons were supposed to do.

I drove off feeling like a million dollars in my highly polished sparking black Nissan Juke.

It’s like a dream to drive, I have had ‘NO ISSUES’ whatsoever, I’ve had the vehicle 4 weeks nearly and I still go to bed at night excited to look out the window and see it parked on my driveway!!

Since taking delivery of my gorgeous car, the calls have not stopped there, I bet I’ve received a call from Gemma every few days asking how things are and yesterday Sam the manager called just to see how things were and to explain Gemma was on annual leave and if I needed anything get in touch – today Gemma called and emailed me asking was everything ok – I have no complaints whatsoever I am truly happy and I’m positive if it hadn’t have been for the ‘shake up’ of the replaced staff at Vertu Chesterfield I honestly don’t think I would be writing this review.

Please please please please, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Sam Taylor or Gemma Phelps if you want a sincere wonderful caring and compassionate service – you won’t be disappointed. I feel like part of the family it been a phenomenal experience. I will never buy a vehicle from anywhere else.

I also took out the 3 year warranty and service plan – the warrants is £699.00 it a lump sum yes hard to find in this day and age but its 100% worth it – if anything goes wrong with my vehicle (besides the ones specifically pointed out generic things likes tyres and bulbs) you don’t pay anything its all covered with parts and labour too by Vertu which to me who doesn’t have a great deal of spare cash, its piece of mind plus, I also received a courtesy car with my grey Juke when it was in their garage.

I also took out the 3 year service plan which is £16.99 a month – im sure over 3 years it adds up to a little over £500 – my boss owns the Solicitors where I work together with a hire car company and a garage and I could not get the services done at my work place that cheap and to be honest I don’t think I will miss £16.99 a months in the grand scheme of things it’s a few cups of coffee a month.

Please note, this was written from my heart, and I was completely transparent – please if you need a new car no matter what brand, give Gemma Phelps a call at Vertu Chesterfield you will be so glad you did 😊

Went there recently and was met by a very nice gentleman called Alan Prior he was very attentive and knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about his job, we went for a test drive but never felt pressured to purchase, we visited twice and on both occasions it was a very pleasant experience we purchased our car and have had a follow up call from Alan to see how we are getting on with it, would 100% recommend visiting this dealership and particularly asking for Alan although all the staff were met were lovely a very relaxing experience thank you Alan

Went in yesterday to look at some cars and was left to look around for a while. Gemma Phelps came over, introduced herself was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about all the cars in my dad's price range.

Was given time to look around them and allowed us to test drive a car for 30mins and found out it was her first few days here since moving so we showed her some areas around here.

We decided on return to check the insurance situation out and went back later back that day to agree a part exchange for our old one and was given a very reasonable price.

Gemma then arranged to let us take the car today at a set time but emailed us later asking if we could pick it up an hour later which was no issue with us.

We exchanged keys and V5 form and shook hands. I've had to email since about one thing that was an error on my part.
