Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you feel disappointed with how your experience concluded.

I must respectfully disagree with your account, as our records show that you were kept updated throughout the process and that we maintained regular contact via both phone and email. In addition, a courtesy vehicle was provided to ensure you remained mobile while your vehicle was with us.

When it became clear that the vehicle required a replacement engine, we acted to avoid further delay and worked with Black Horse to agree a voluntary termination and refund to bring the agreement to a close as efficiently as possible for you.

In relation to the remaining balance you’ve mentioned, our records do not support the figure stated, and the settlement was completed in line with the finance company’s final agreement.

We always aim to handle situations like this as transparently and supportively as possible, particularly when unexpected mechanical issues arise, and it’s disappointing to hear that this has not been your perception.

Dear Mr Griffiths,

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to read that you feel dissatisfied with your experience.

However, we would like to clarify a few points. Your vehicle remained stationary on our site and was not road tested. When the windscreen was inspected, there were multiple stone chips present as well as dirt within the crack itself, which strongly indicates the damage was not newly caused while the vehicle was with us. As the vehicle had not been driven, it would not have been possible for this type of damage to occur during our care.

Regarding the dashboard warning lights, the vehicle’s battery was found to be low during its time with us. This can sometimes trigger warning lights to appear on the dashboard. We ensured the battery was fully charged before the vehicle was returned.

We are also sorry to hear that there was confusion regarding communication while your vehicle remained with us, as this is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. Your comments have been shared with the management team so we can review the situation internally.

If you would be willing, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns further and review the matter with you directly. Please feel free to contact the dealership and ask for the management team so we can assist.
