I had a really good experience with Darren at Volkswagen when swapping my car. He made the whole process easy and stress-free, explaining everything clearly with each step. First they were able to provide a test drive with a very similar car, (hard to find)

Excellent friendly service
Everything was nice and easy. Helen was lovely in presenting me with my options over the phone and emails, and she was very responsive. In person she was friendly and helpful while introducing me to my new car :)

A first rate experience buying a used car (with a trade in) at Vertu Volkswagen Leeds. All of the Vertu members of staff that we interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Poor Experience
Service was booked online.
Email to confirm was confusing and impossible to choose optional work.
On arriving at dealership at 10am every service advisor was busy doing something despite none of them actually serving a customer in person.
Throughout the whole process I felt like I was an annoyance.
They did however do the work and the wash and mini valet was a lot better than I expected!

Left in the Dark for Weeks
As a basic standard of customer service, a brief phone call twice a week to provide an update would not take much time. Instead, I received only one phone call during the first week of my car being in for a warranty repair. During that call, I was given a date for when the parts were expected to arrive.
A week later, I received a text message (not a phone call). When I called to follow this up, I was told someone would call me back. Instead, I received another text message that didn’t make sense and didn’t clarify the situation.
It appears there is a team working in “customer service” roles who lack basic customer service experience. I’m baffled that this department operates without a clear protocol for keeping customers informed. It seems staff may be avoiding delivering bad news, but regular, accurate updates would prevent customer frustration. A phone call takes two minutes.
Ultimately, it feels as though I’ve received a lower level of service because my car is a fleet vehicle. However, after reading other reviews of the service department, this appears to be a broader issue rather than an isolated one
Three weeks later, my last update regarding my vehicle was on 8 December. Despite texting on Friday 12 December requesting an update, I received no response.

Shocking dealer, dont care once they've sold
Had my brand new car delivered with a couple of issues. Where do i start from here… they said they would deliver me an EV car, they didnt.
They said it would take a few days, it took 4 weeks!! Poor communication from them the whole time, only time they replied to me when i asked for updates is when they tried sending my car back, multiple times they tried sending it back with the issue still present. They kept saying they would repair it and thats why its taking so long, ended up that this was a factory issue and nothing they could do to help, so they basically had my car the best part of a month for no reason
Just to add the cherry on top, it came back with a brand new fresh scratch on the bumper
Please stay away from this branch and ideally stay away from VW as this is one of the main repair centres.
Heard many others come forward highlighting the same issues and poor service like myself since ive been through it
