I picked up my new car on Wednesday and couldn’t be happier. Karolina couldn’t have done anymore for me, any questions I had were answered and the whole process of settling finance and trading in my old car couldn’t have been easier. I have dealt with several car dealers over the years and this has been by far the best customer service I have received I would definitely recommend.

I have been very pleasantly surprised by the service received today from Vertu Motors- Volkswagen, Leeds
My new car was delivered to my door in Easingwold and my part exchange taken away by them. I didn't need to leave my home. Everything was handled very smoothly by Hader Ali. I received a helpful video of my new car and many phone calls and texts to follow up so l knew exactly what was what happening. Hader spent a lot of time, very patiently going through all l needed to know when he delivered my car to my house. He was very professional and helpful l would say that the service was excellent and beyond what l expected. I would thoroughly recommend them

We brought a car from Helen Angood who was amazing, she helped us though everything, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Helen my dad is loving the car

Shane was able to help with queries about finance, servicing and car specifications.

I have just purchase a new car and Shane Gough was very professional and knowledgeable which made the whole process less stressful from the initial meeting through the test drive and on the day of collection with time spent going through all the software on the car. I bought a car from a dealer to find out certain things on the smart screen & settings would not work. Very frustrating as all settings would reset every-time i started the car and certain bits i couldn't use.

Took my car to Vertu Volkswagen Leeds and
although i had to visit a couple of times the team at vertu volkswagen were trying there upmost best to resolve the issue.

A massive thank you to Gosia for the dedication in resolving this. She went above and beyond in figuring out what needed to be done. And in the end it was resolved.

Gosia was as frustrated as i was when attempts were not successful and i could see the relief and excitement in her face when it was!

Brilliant service, no pressure, got what I thought was a great deal, staff are really good.

Very disappointed to be advised my wheel alignment needed urgent attention on a second service with dealership on Elland Road, Leeds, especially with low mileage. Checked this with a local trustworthy garage I have used for years and was advised all was o.k and road test shows drives perfect. Very annoyed to have paid for this second check for no reason following incorrect advice from VW. I have since been advised following complaint that this is standard on second service, can't see how when not mileage related and was not on list as compulsory part of vehicle check list - VW conveniently added this on to try to potentially charge me for work not needed. Will never return to this garage again.

After my Dad ordered his new motability car, he never got a test drive despite several requests and promises.
Having received his new car he is still waiting for a call to check everything is OK!

And 6 weeks later still no contact!

And still no reply 3 weeks later!

I saw a VW TCross for sale st Vertu Leeds and called to request a viewing. They asked if I wanted to put a £99 fully refundable deposit down, which just reserves the car for 48 hours. I viewed the car, but as vertu wouldn't budge on their price at all and only offered me £11000 for mine, I walked out. Luckily, the next day at a different dealer, I was offered £1500 more for my car and bought the same model/mileage/age car as I viewed at Vertu, priced for £1300 less! After a week, my deposit hadn't been refunded. I left emails with no reply. I called several times, but each time was conveniently told that no salesmen were available to take my call, and would call me back. They never did. I've finally got my money back after pestering them. Awful experience from start to finish. Won't be using again!

Great service from Caley Reynolds at Vertu Leeds VW handling my order from start to finish.

No after care and service after purchasing a high end vehicle. Service department completely overloaded and no courtesy available for months. Work on my vehicle needed doing as faulty parts and still in warranty but Leeds are rubbish at booking me in. Never using Leeds VW again, promised the world during the sale and undelivered so quickly! AVOID- Daz is the manager of the service department and he ignored my calls, emails and complaints. DO NOT USE

My wife and I have just purchased a new vehicle from Vertu Motors’ Leeds branch. The entire experience was excellent. The sales representative, Kane Ramsden, was superb from start to finish. His was very approachable, knowledgeable, listened and very patient. Kane took us through our various options. We also liked the way Kane worked with his line manager, Peter Robertson, in order to help us get the best deal. We would highly recommend purchasing a car from this branch.

Had a really great experience recently with salesman (Shane gough) at the Leeds branch. Shane made the experience a lot less stressful. He was really knowledgable, approachable. There was non of the usual pushiness that you would typically expect with a salesman. He was just really down to earth and gave us information that was relevant to us. He was understanding of our needs & went out of his way to make the experience more pleasant.

I recently purchased a used car from Vertu VW in Leeds, and after reading other reviews I was nervous. However, I have to say my experience was absolutely fantastic. The salesman (Neil) was very knowledgeable about EVs (which is unfortunately unusual!) and the whole team made me feel very welcome during the process. We drove two hours to the dealer twice - once for a test drive and then again to pick up the car a few days later. Our first day was a long one, we spent nearly three hours on site and Neil was patient and helpful the whole time. Picking up the car was smooth and easy, and we left the dealer (and are still) very happy. Definitely recommend!

UPDATE,
Due to a total unsatisfactory unfortunate encounter with this company last year (see my review then) I have since cancelled my maintenance contract with Vertu Toyota, I believe the only way to change the attitude of Volkswagen Leeds is to WALK AWAY, somewhere in the future they may get the message and up their game, lets hope they do and not cost Vertu a contract and they a customer.
That “sweet” reply( see below) is standard response, nothing was done last year and nothing is going to be done this year as I will never go back to Volkswagen for any reason

Vertu leeds incorrectly charged us for an MOT that was covered under the NHS Fleet on 4 October2023. They have recognized this error but still have not refunded the charge over 6 months later. We have wasted our time calling to speak to a customer services and have been passed from pillar to post. Emails have got us nowhere. We have emailed the Head of Customer Services, despite promises to call us back we’ve not hear anything. Not only are we out of pocket, we have wasted hours trying to get hold of Vertu Leeds. Disgraceful and dishonest service.

We picked up our new car yesterday and couldn’t be happier. Liam was so helpful and kind to us from start to finish. He listened to what we wanted and helped us make informed decisions. We were thoroughly looked after throughout the whole experience and wouldn’t hesitate to use the company and Liam again for our next car :)
