Truly great experience buying make up from the store on Dover street in London. The lady who works at the counter was incredible, she showed me how to do my eye make up. I always battle with this. I am not a big wearer of makeup up but now in my 50âs I feel I need to make a bit of effort. I felt great! There were two younger, beautiful Lebanese girls in store with me, she made them look amazing as well (although they were youthful so did not need much make up to look amazing)

I purchased a dress from VictoriaâŠ
I purchased a dress from Victoria Beckham and paid approximately £120 for expedited alterations, rather than the standard alteration service which would have cost around £70, because I was specifically assured that the dress would be ready in time for my event.
Unfortunately, the dress was not delivered the next day as expected. Instead, it arrived two days later, which meant I was unable to wear it to the event for which I had purchased it. As a result, I had to urgently buy another dress at the last minute.
I was very disappointed by this experience. Not only did I pay a significant premium for expedited alterations, but the service was not delivered within the promised timeframe. I was also not offered a refund of the difference between the expedited and standard alteration fees.
The dress itself is beautiful, but the purpose of paying for the faster service was so that I could wear it to a specific event. Unfortunately, that did not happen, and to this day I have not had the opportunity to wear the dress.
I had expected a much higher level of service from a luxury brand and was disappointed by the lack of accountability when the agreed timeline was not met.

I had the best experience. I popped in to buy some lipstick and ended up getting all my make-up done with an amazing make-up artist who was so lovely. I walked out with lots of make-up, feeling a million dollars and a much better understanding of how to wear make-up !
