I can't get no Satisfaction.
One of the main reasons that I chose to purchase wine from their site was the ' Satisfaction Guarantee' - that if you were not satisfied by a bottle you had received, they would replace it. No hassle. Out of six bottles, I found two that I could not drink, so I contacted the company for replacements under their terms and conditions. I was then told that they would only send replacements with the next order. Now, having found two of the wines putrid and undrinkable, I have no intention of ordering any more. I told them this, so I can't get my replacements in accordance with their terms and conditions, as advertised. This is false advertising. If you wish to purchase their wines, then please disregard their Satisfaction Guarantee.
Stay away!
Signed up for their intro offer which was good. I then logged on their website to changed the frequency of the next shipment since I did not want a box every month. It specifically said that I would get notice before they shipped out wine as part of the membership. However, suddenly there was a UPS notification in my inbox with no identifying info. Not until I received the package did I realize that it was from them. I again logged on the website to see that the changes I had made to my membership had somehow been reset? I contacted customer service and got an angry response that their records showed that I never made changes and the they were not going to help me. The intro offer was 40 dollars. The unannounced shipment of two bottles was 80 dollars that they took from my account with no notification. This is a very dubious practice! Do not sign up. Find another club.

The initial shipment of wines was ok, however I was automatically shipped another 12 at a much higher price. When I signed up it said you could choose which shipments you wanted. Simply not true. I didn't get an email before they shipped, just a charge on my debit card and it arrived.

Beware
Beware! I would recommend avoiding this club due to false advertising. The offer read something like "...you will have the opportunity to decline future shipments if you don't want them...", and I received an email stating that the next shipment was scheduled for 12/21/2020. The next communication I received was from UPS a week or two BEFORE that date saying that wine had already shipped. When I called, the "customer service" agent sounded completely unsurprised and unsympathetic. Only option was to return for a credit (minus shipping etc). Go with a different club.

The problem here is, it was not clear to me that it would be only 2 wines in the 6 case. 3 of the same rose, and 3 of the same sauv blanc. I was anticipating more variety and it was a little disappointing. As far as wine goes, they are fine.
Unacceptable shipment policy and customer service

me: My credit card just was billed for wine I was not notified I would receive. I want to cancel my membership.
Response: I apologize, our shipments go out automatically, and our members are only notified following the conclusion of a delay, if they have set one
me: Can I refuse the wine that was sent to me and my credit card refunded? I will be charged $22.95 a bottle which is exorbitant for the quality of wine we received.
Response: Should you wish to refuse your purchase, you may, and upon the package's arrival back at our warehouse, you would receive a merchandise credit less the shipping fee and the charge assessed by xxxxxx to cover the cost of alcohol compliance for purchases across state lines. This merchandise credit may be applied to any future order made with us.
This is not acceptable customer service, especially since another wine club I belong to in another state was very willing to accept the refusal of a shipment with a full refund. Vinesse sends out shipments of wine once a month and does not notify the customer in advance so unless you are vigilant about checking the calendar to postpone a shipment you will be receiving inferior wine at a high cost each month.
I never received an email confirming cancelation of membership. However, I receive almost daily solicitation emails from Vinesse.

Customer service is fine based on the one call I had. My issue with you guys is that all of a sudden I get an email from UPS that I'm receiving a delivery from Vinesse. I never placed an order with Vinesse but with one of the wine clubs that I guess you manage. I have purchased thru other wine clubs and they always email about a week prior to shipping giving me the option of continuing with the order, changing the date for shipment and more. You guys don't do that. So I canceled
One other thing - the UPS email said an adult signature was needed. I wasn't home when they delivered but I got email that someone signed for it. It wasn't me. No idea where it is.
