As a relatively new user of Vinted I have found it to be an excellent way of decluttering pre loved items. I send photos, garment labels, colours, description etc. I will show all designer brand logos etc. So I got a message from Vinted support yesterday to say they had removed an item from my listing because of the possibility of it being counterfeit. This was a 5 euro item, listed with photos and no designer or brand mentioned. I have asked Vinted support for information regarding the reason for deciding that this item could be counterfeit when in fact it was not listed as a designer branded item. I keep getting generic replies referring to Vinted guidelines but they will not send me clarification as to why they decided to remove an item that was not listed as designer or branded as a possible counterfeit. I am so disappointed with this platform
I’ve tried to create multiple accounts but I keep getting permanently banned with no good human customer support…
I tried signing up for Vinted. It was going well at first, then I made and uploaded my first listing. Vinted then decides to permanently ban my account. I read their terms and conditions and I have done nothing wrong. I tried to appeal the decision twice and I get no information on why my account was banned. I’m just told that they’ve decided not to unban my account. Nothing I did goes against there terms and conditions so it’s honestly pointless. I tried to create new accounts and they all get banned too. Such a waste of time and their customer support is honestly useless. I would stay away from this platform.

Jeg ligger på opvågning efter operation og skriver det og at de godt må give mig en chance, nu hvor jeg er massivt dopet og det faktum, at jeg har ventet to uger på sælger. Kundeservice er ligeglad og skriver, at hvis ikke de har oplysningerne inden for 1 dag, så skal jeg betale for den vare, som ikke er som beskrevet og som jeg gjorde indsigelse imod med det samme

Reported an item being sold as genuine for being a clear fake and was told it didnt violate community guidelines. They will not protect their users from scams.

The item wasn't delivered and Vinted kept my money. They strung me a long for weeks with AI replies, then they said they were closing the case because they only give refunds if there's a problem with the item, and if it wasn't delivered then there's no problem with the item!
The app is good, support isn't.
Overall I like using Vinted, helps declutter and buying new stuff at prices that are competitive.
However, when you encounter an issue, don't even think about getting assistance from their support.
The only thing they'll do is link ToS and policies with an absolute lack of empathy that might even make you think that is an AI bot, in my experience Dmytro was generally unpleasant and unhelpful.
It's a pity because there is a lot of potential here and falls short due to debatable customer service.

Vinted is supposed to be for Ireland and France but 80% is France and the shipping costs are ridiculous, shipping can be more expensive than the item you buy, and then Vinted add there own costs, and as a buyer if you leave genuine negative feedback, the seller can too, just become you left them negative feedback, absolutely ridiculous, shipping costs will put a lot of people off selling and buying, and we need more Irish sellers,because at the most it’s mostly French , and the shipping costs are way too high

Boycott!!! I didn’t receive a Parcel I spent 17 euro on and got a fobbed off excuse. Customer service is terrible. We pay ‘insurance’ for each item we buy but your not insured at all it’s a scam

You pay buyer protection, postage and Item does not get delivered. Happened twice. Never arrived .1st item got sent back .Lost the money and the item. (I went to look 4 it 2 days , was told wasnt there. Then seller said it sat in the wearhouse for 11 days and she got it back)The second time I haven't received it, they claim I have so spoke to just Robots. No resolution Again. Totally loss just under 50 euro.

Vinted refused to refund me for a coat that never arrived even though I had bought buyer protection and the seller had said that the coat was lost by the shipping company. Their customer service is a disgrace and all of the replies are AI generated. Will never buy from them again.

I've several times have a return of goods and everytime there where lost. Vinted is playing a game and don't take responsability about thé losing or stealing. So they pay any damage or send thé goods back.

The worst customer service! I had the easiest issue on Earth, they could have solved it in seconds. Yet they acted like robots, not reading my messages with understanding. As a result, I had to close my account.

Terrible experience – no real customer support and unfair policies
I have been using Vinted for a while, but lately the service has become extremely unreliable and frustrating.
Packages are frequently lost or mismanaged, and when problems occur, Vinted offers absolutely no real support. Responses are slow, generic, and completely unhelpful.
I will give two concrete examples.
Some time ago I bought a Prada bag on Vinted for 60 euros. At the time of purchase, Vinted allowed the sale without any verification or control. Recently I tried to resell the same bag on Vinted, and suddenly my listing was removed because they claimed it was “fake”.
The problem is: when I bought it, no checks were made. When I asked for verification, Vinted did nothing. There are many fake products being sold on the platform without any control, yet I was not even allowed to resell the bag as a normal, unbranded item. Even when I removed the word “Prada” from the description, the listing was still deleted. This is completely inconsistent and unfair.
Another serious issue happened with a recent sale.
I sent a package correctly and on time. The buyer kept pressuring me, complaining that she couldn’t pick it up. Later she told me that the package had been collected by another person and was now lost at the pickup point. Under pressure and in good faith, I agreed to a refund – a big mistake on my part.
As a result, the buyer got her money back, I lost my item, and Vinted did absolutely nothing to investigate what really happened. They did not verify whether the buyer actually received the package, and they offered me no protection as a seller, even though I fulfilled all my obligations.
So in the end I was left with no item and no money.
This shows clearly how poor and unreliable Vinted’s system is. There is no proper customer protection, no real investigation when problems occur, and sellers are left completely alone.
I would actually like to continue using Vinted, because the platform can be useful and practical. However, Vinted urgently needs to apply fairer and more consistent controls, especially when dealing with users who have a long history of reliable transactions. Loyal and trustworthy members should receive proper support and protection instead of being treated unfairly or ignored when problems arise.

When things go well its great. However when it doesn't thats another story.
I am very disappointed with my recent experience using Vinted, particularly in relation to buyer protection, dispute handling, and pricing transparency.
I purchased several items that were listed as being in very good condition. Two of the items received had multiple undisclosed stains that were not mentioned in the description and were not clearly visible in the photos. I raised the issue promptly under Vinted’s item not as described policy and provided detailed photographic evidence.
Despite this, Vinted refused to cover return postage and insisted that I pay again to return items that were incorrectly described. I was repeatedly advised to negotiate return costs directly with the seller, even though the seller had explicitly requested no further contact and reacted negatively when contacted initially. This placed me in an unreasonable position and undermined the purpose of buyer protection.
In addition to this, I experienced a separate issue with pricing transparency. At checkout, Vinted displayed that I had saved €3.59 on shipping as part of a promotion, yet this amount was still deducted from my balance. When I queried this, it was treated as correct policy rather than a potential error. From a consumer perspective, this is misleading, as the price shown did not match what was actually charged.
I requested a reference number for my complaint so that I could refer the matter to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC). No reference number was provided.
Overall, this experience has left me with little confidence in Vinted’s buyer protection, dispute resolution process, or pricing transparency. Buyers should be cautious, as the platform does not appear to meaningfully support consumers when listings are inaccurate or when pricing displayed does not match what is charged.

FRAUDLENT SCAMMER APP
The most useless evil company ever when it comes to buyers. Entire business should be illegal, and we should all work towards shutting that app down.
First of all they charge a fraudulent “Buyer Protection Fee” with every purchase that raises and lowers as they see fit (but rarely lowers). Except this offers no real protection as the buyers are given 0 support and forced to jump through hoops and holes like circus monkeys only to never receive their full refund, nor have their appeals taken seriously, and end up having to pay their insane shipping fees (that also rise mysteriously) TWICE on items that they were so obviously scammed on.
I purchased a cardigan from an evil scammy Vinted User (@emmacavalle - DO NOT SHOP THERE‼️) and prior to purchase I explicitly asked twice whether a button was missing because from the images it seemed that way but I wanted to be sure. She assured me several times that no buttons were missing and that the item was in perfect condition. This was a lie. I received my package later to open it and find a severely pilled and defective product, as well as evidence of a missing button.
I immediately took pictures, gave detailed information and put in my refund request only for the perpetually malfunctioning Vinted app to delete half my image evidence for no reason. Thus I had to go directly to support to ensure the images were in the system so my refund was processed properly. Support sent AUTOMATED replies over and over asking for the same useless item information like sizing and measurements when the real issue was defects. I never got to speak to a real agent before my refund request was CANCELLED by Vinted and the evil scammer got my money.
I did everything by the book, stayed within their insane timelines and look what happened! I was one of their most loyal customers and had even spent nearly €1000 on their site, something I now thoroughly regret because all that “Buyer Protection” bought me nothing at all. I now have to do a chargeback with my bank which will lead to them getting salty and banning my account even though I was the victim in this entire scenario. I will lose my shop and followers all because they were too stingy to cover €8 worth of shipping. Evil evil evil company and app, shop eBay, Depop, literally anywhere else !
Poor Service
Vinted are OK until something goes wrong. Vinted are quite often no help and just don't want to know where any dispute is involved.. Be aware with my recent experience Vinted said when I complained to them many times about receiving a ladies jacket clearly advertised in the mens section and of course expected a mans jacket! They found in favour of the seller so I am left with a jacket that is of no use to me.
So its OK selling woman's clothing in the mens section !!
