These folks are not trustworthy
These folks are not trustworthy, at all. Do not trust them with your data and do not trust them with your security. I speak from experience.
These folks have poor business practices. Why else would they have 1.2 rating on Trustpilot? Look elsewhere.

Since the VPN Secure Team Replied, I'll let everyone know here that they are fully aware of my issue, I gave them an ample chance to fix it. I also let them know that I was going to complain to a tech reviewer with a lot of followers. VPN Secure, instead of addressing the problem send me a snarky email that read "More free advertising? Thank you."
--------
Thanks for admitting in your reply that you make jokes about user problems, rather than solving them. On brand for you!
I can explain it in detail. You told users that when you purchased the company (an asset sale) you told longtime users:
"To continue providing a secure and high-quality experience for all users, Lifetime Deal accounts have now been deactivated as of April 28th, 2025."
PCWorld wrote that "the owners claimed that they didn't know about the lifetime subscriptions when they first bought VPNSecure,"
So, this completes the picture. Due diligence is performed when purchasing a a company. All the company records were available to you. Somehow, you either lied to your users, OR you failed to notice that lifetime memberships were part of the company. So, we can only conclude that you were incompetent during due diligence, OR you lied. Either one is a good reason not to trust your company.
Do we want to trust our data that does a poor job on the details, and misses the fact that there were thousands of people that paid for a lifetime membership?
So, which was it? You did a poor job doing due diligence (or you got 'tricked') or you lied? See the issue? Either is a bad sign. You're getting an excellent Streisand effect each time you reply.
===
So, why not let us know then. Did you do a poor job at due diligence (and thus didn't know) or did the seller bamboozle you? Or did you fib about not knowing? My main point is, any of those should disqualify you from doing business in a space where trust and competence is paramount. If there is a 4th possible
explanation, you could let us know that too!

Terrible product, slows your internet down so bad. Support is a joke. They treat customer like crap, felt like I was dealing with 3 teenagers in their mom's closet. They love to tell you they are in the Bahama's now, very rude. I am guessing they will be short lived or have to change their name

I purchased a lifetime subscriptionâŠ
I purchased a lifetime subscription years ago. And used it sparingly when using my accounts overseas to watch my paid subscriptions.
Now in 2026, I logged in, expecting my paid account, and log in successfully. But am getting a no authorization when connecting. Only to see that my account on the site shows no active sub. And online details show the company decided to cancel all lifetime accounts. That is ridiculous and anti trust. This needs to be resolved. Otherwise there needs to be a class action against these big tech giants who take your money, promise a service then take it away. So give me my money back.
Utterly flabbergasted
This was already the slowest and poorest VPN, but the new company decided to enter into very dodgy territory. They chose to cancel subscription plans they didn't like, from their side without offering any form of compensation (other than some "new good deals" which they will probably cancel just as well if they decide they do not like it)- they are looking for ways in grey legal area to maximise profit while utterly neglecting consumers because and in their own words "thatâs literally what the legal structure allows." This is by far the saddest excuse I have ever heard in my life, no form of empathy or responsibility to be expected from this company.

VPN Secure ããã®åç
Avoid, shady company.
Avoid! A Shoddy company now.
I am another lifetime subscriber with VPNSecure.me, who finds his VPN service discontinued with the excuse it was bought so won't honor it. I wonder if there will be a class action at some point.....

Bought a lifetime membership in 2016 orâŠ
Bought a lifetime membership in 2016 or so and had my membership pulled in April 2025 because the company was bought by another company that apparently didn't do due diligence and claims they were unaware of the lifetime memberships. Avoid these people like the plague. They cannot be trusted to honor promises.

VPN Secure Sold Out on Customer Trust
TL;DR The original VPN Secure got bought out, but the new owners sold out. Skip this VPN service if you want something secure and trustworthy.
I had bought a lifetime membership. It was, honestly, a great deal in an age where so much is either shitty shovelware or freemium subscription. I pad a good amount of money for something I only very occasionally used and it provided me with stable and trustworthy service. Until the new owners came along and basically ripped up our deal unilaterally.
I read their reasoning (communicated retro-actively and very passive aggressively): a 3-person business with high operating costs. Well, I am sure it is tough to run a small business with legacy contracts that you are entrusted with honoring, but guess what: that's what you have to do if you are in a trust-based business.
With all the VPN services out there, why would I renew a contract with a party that has already breached my trust? In fact, why would anyone enter into a contract with a VPN service that cannot honor its deals.

It's a fine service that does what itâŠ
It's a fine service that does what it says it does. Like many others, I had a lifetime agreement. Lifetime agreements are a ridiculous thing to offer from a saas company. So am I bummed that they change the rules? of course. Did I think that it would last even a 1/10th this long? Not at all.

SCAM COMPANY - Cancelled my lifetime membership
Cancelled my lifetime membership. What a terrible service. You sell a lifetime membership and then arbitrarily terminate it, with NO compensation to those who paid and were guaranteed it. And offer us a "Deal" that literally anyone can go sign up for. I already bought a lifetime subscription.

Stay Away from VPNSecure and the new owners InfiniteQuant Ltd
I'm not questioning the legality of what you did. I'm questioning the issue of doing the next right thing. Anyone reading these reviews should take note of the squirming around and explaining why a commitment was not kept and why due diligence wasn't done before buying the thing to know what commitments have been made. Regardless of the experience those of us who had been given the commitment have had, anyone reading these reviews and trying to decide which VPN to use should take note of what happened in the past. It's an indicator of what will happen in the future. I would suggest moving on as I have done.
In reply to VPNSecure's reply:
Please do not blame those of us who were promised a lifetime experience for your lack of due diligence. If you could not make it work, you should not have bought the service.
First, I purchased a lifetime license for VPNSecure. When InfiniteQuant Ltd bought VPNSecure, the company did not honor what it had bought; it surely knew the agreements it had made, and if it did not wish to honor the commitment, it should not have purchased the company. The company did extend the license for three years, but after that, payment would be required. After all that, problems with the service began. After closing the app, it was impossible to reopen it. After years of working flawlessly, it suddenly started failing. I corresponded with support, and that was a miserable experience. Among other things, the support person had never heard of Revo Uninstaller and claimed using it had "destroyed the app." I have never had a worse interaction with support. I have cancelled the renewal set for three years from now and downloaded another VPN that works.

They cancelled my lifetime membershipâŠ
They cancelled my lifetime membership that I paid for when they were just getting going and this money was needed to build our company, blah blah blah. I am now a happy user of Proton! At $14.99/month you get way better features anyway and a better jurisdiction, Switzerland!!!!

I was one of the lifetime subscribersâŠ
I was one of the lifetime subscribers who had issues with their service before they cut me off. They no longer reply to emails, or honor the commitment that was originally made to their customers. Absolutely no one should do business with this organization.

They may get their act together one day!
Well, they have moved on from their last fiasco to a smaller new one.
I guess to try and regain the trust of some of the old lifetime members (and an addition income stream) they have offered some reactivation pricing available until the end of this month.
They can't even get this right as the 1 year pricing provided in the email is not the 1 year pricing shown on the website when you go to sign up. I noticed this a few weeks back and mailed their support team, but have not received a reply.

Dishonest company masquerading usingâŠ
Dishonest company masquerading as an honest company with positive reviews using all of the assets and reviews of the original company they purchased on their website (meaning the VPNâ¢Secure website, not TrustPilot) as if they are current, accurate, and honest reviews reflective of the new owners. All of which are conveniently 5-Star reviews which predated the change in ownership.
I don't need to rehash any of the previous reviews made by other users, there's hundreds of others saying what doesn't need to be repeated.

VPN Secure ããã®åç
The service was bad before the takeover
The service was bad before the takeover, zero customer service, and an ever dwindling number of servers. Now my account (like many others) has been officially closed and the first I get to know is today via what I would call a chirpy & sarcastic everything's still rosy email, that tells me they're closing my lifetime paid upfront account, yet also doing me a big favour whilst asking me to pay again for a service I'd already paid for. I deem my old contract to still be valid and they are in breach of that contract, so no way would I want to accept new payment terms that'd then form a new contract, relieving them of all previous obligations. Before they reply to me on here in their scratched record technique to feebly attempt damage limitation, I am stating some facts: Lifetime means lifetime, and the repetition of "we've honoured lifetime deal customers for 2 years" quite frankly doesn't wash. In that case start again from scratch guys, I guess you'll change the name soon enough if you don't go bust. They acquired the assets in 2023 and continued to use the same company name, provide the same service, same software and rely on the same paying customers then clearly they bought the business as a going concern warts and all. This is simply the new owner's way of trimming unwanted inherited costs, probably when it goes bad it'll then become a tax write off. Customer trust is essential in their industry and they've blown it, and they probably realise that. I do get their argument in one sense but LTDs were part of the customer base which they must have known about as all users have to log in with user names and passwords... so there's a database of everyone on their system along with payments etc. Saying there's no records of the lifetime deals is rubbish, we all log in and the days tick down on the interface so they knew alright... No amount of "we're owning this" is going to restore that damaged trust, it sounds just like they're using the politician's repetition technique of "we've inherited an economic black hole", it's not our fault, tough decisions have to be made, so hand over more money to keep what you've already paid for. Luckily I moved away to another provider a while back because I had a gut feeling things were getting bad and I was right, still it's the principle. For me, this company is on a par with 99% of politicians as far as promises and trust is concerned. It seems they'll then offer a reply, using bad reviews to repeat their same old lines, it's not fooling anyone, not winning them any new business, and it's certainly not going to ameliorate the situation. Basically I translate it as "oh yes, saying we get it, but basically tough luck anyway because we honestly couldn't care less... bye" A great way to rebuild, or should that be build back better?

VPN Secure ããã®åç
This company probably will and deserves to go bust
It's completely unacceptable that my 'lifetime' subscription was cancelled without a single word of notice. This isn't just poor customer serviceâit's a deceptive and disrespectful business practice. The company has completely destroyed the trust of its long-term customers. Given the growing number of one-star reviews and the valid criticisms across many platforms, itâs clear that their reputation is suffering. They created this situation, and it seems likely that this kind of business conduct will lead to them not lasting much longer.

VPN Secure ããã®åç
Broken promises and no accountability
I purchased a lifetime subscription to VPN Secure through a reputable deal site, expecting that "lifetime" meant what it said. After using the service for a while, I recently received an email stating that all lifetime accounts were being shut down due to a change in ownership. No meaningful compensation was offered, just a "special discounted" plan that essentially asks me to pay again for a service I already bought.
This is not how you treat customers. If the original deal was unsustainable, thatâs a business issueâcustomers should not bear the cost of poor planning or mismanagement. Ownership changes do not void customer agreements. The fact that they chose to cancel all lifetime accounts instead of honoring prior commitments shows a complete lack of integrity and accountability.
This is especially frustrating because many people, like me, bought this deal in good faith. Now weâre being told that the deal just no longer exists, and our only option is to pay more.
Avoid this company if you care about long-term trust or keeping what you paid for. Theyâve shown they can change the rules at any time and leave you with nothing.
