Ordered something online and wanted to return it so followed the return process on their website of sending an email to customer services. Nobody ever came back to my email so itâs not a very robust returns process.

If you enjoy being spoken to like a naughty child, Webbs is the place for you. After waiting around seven minutes with no hello, no eye contact, nothing, myself, mother in law and two young children sat at an empty table, there were plenty of them. A staff member stormed over, pointed in my mother in lawâs face and announced she âyou are rude! You will not be getting served.â Whilst other customers were doing the same thing- Helping themselves to a chair. Charming. Why on earth we were singled out is beyond me.
We took it to the manager, who asked which staff member it was. When my mother-in-law said âthe little oneâ to IDENTIFY her (as requested), she was stood next to two other members of staff considerably taller than her, the manager told her she was being derogatory. Instead of dealing with her staffâs attitude, she decided to take offence on their behalf. Interesting priorities.
We left. Plenty of places do lunch without the attitude.
Disappointed in customer service
Summertime brought a webber grill and accessories only to find an item missing. Husband contacted store (via e-mail) and still waiting on reply .
Due to this husband is now refusing to take me on my yearly christmas shopping spree .
Not a happy bunny as its the best time of year in your store and loved to have a good mooch . Not sure where to go now for my christmas fix .
Anybody have any ideas .

Its good now you opened cafe for dogs. What we do find very disappointing re the loyalty card you dont do the 12 free drinks any more, which bought people in and then yougo round the store and buy things. I think it should be reinstated as Webbs does not do anything off re the cafe or restaurants. A lot of places do something once a month to do with their cafe or restaurants. Re date of experience we go regularly.

Great choice of items on offer for house and garden if a little expensive, Restaurant good choice of food but had breakfast here four times now and not once did the food and drink come together with the food being consumed before the drinks even arrived.

The communication from Webb's was great from the start - full tracking provided. My plants were in the sale (hurrah) but they have been boxed up and posted faultlessly, secure and safe. Fantastic boxes, the plants were not damaged at all. Webb's have most definitely provided an excellent level of service. I shall be recommending you to all my friends and family.

I ordered some Lemax products
I ordered some Lemax products and they didnât arrive in boxes. They came in bubble wrap. I then had asked why, it didnât say anything on the website that they wouldnât come and I donât want to damage them. I asked if I could have a refund and send back, they said yes but I need to pay for it to be sent back.
Update - Hi Webbs, thank you for your response. Iâve just checked your website and noticed that the older dens donât mention anything about the box, while the newer dens include the note: âPlease note: the Elf Lane range does not come in a retail box.â
Iâd also like to mention that I donât feel I should have had to pay for the return shipping. I explained that the item didnât arrive in the way Iâve always seen it presentedâevery shop Iâve visited has them displayed in the boxâso this was unexpected.

Egg Chair with Manufacturing Fault
I ordered a double egg chair which came 2 days ago, upon putting it together it had a manufacturing fault whereby one of the tubes didn't have a hole drilled to allow for the support bar to go through at the top. I emailed Webbs as advised but still no response and after calling today I've been told there is no one in till possibly Monday to answer my query??

Visited the restaurant this morning and ordered a breakfast. Food came ridiculously quickly. It looked like it had been thrown together and items taken from pre cooked hot counter even though they werenât particularly hot! Sausages and bacon were really hard.
Iâve visited many times and this was the worst occasion Iâve experienced with the food.
Wonât be going again in hurry.
Very Poor Customer Service and Curt Response
Following a previous review by Nicky Hearnden (17/03/25), Iâve unfortunately experienced a very similar issue. We purchased garden furniture from Webbs, and after a week, noticed that one of the chairs was missing an adjustable foot. I took the time to photograph the issue and emailed Webbs directly. After two weeks without a response, I called the store and was told the relevant staff member was on holiday, and I should redirect my email to the Furniture Resolutions department.
A few days later, I called again to follow up, only to be told that my email hadnât yet been seen and that the staff member had a backlog due to returning from holiday. Eventually, I received a reply stating that the part was unavailable and that the manufacturer would contact me directly. I waited again, but heard nothing. When I followed up via email, I received a curt response stating that, as per their previous message, the manufacturer would be in touch and would arrange a replacement.
This entire process has now taken nearly six weeks for a single adjustable foot â and the issue is still unresolved. This level of customer service is simply unacceptable, especially when purchasing from a local business. I always try to support local retailers, but after this experience, Iâll be very reluctant to return and will likely order directly from the manufacturer in future.

Absolutely delighted with the melianthus I bought - good size and great value. Rather less pleased with the minute tree fern in a 5 litre pot but it does look healthy.

I ordered some plants on-line and unfortunately they arrived in less than perfect condition due to the carrier. Andy was amazing , he swiftly arrange for replacements that arrive in a few days . The plants are in super super condition too . Many thanks Andy for first class customer service .
Brew company tea not for me!
Went to the plant cafe ordered two teas. Brew company tea was tepid and bitter tasting. Left the remainder on the table ,thank goodness I had some mints with me to take away the bitter aftertaste!

Went for lunch today. Greeted by a lovely staff member and seated. Unfortunately the food was not as good. Ordered a special. Pork sandwich with stuffing and fries and gravy. It arrived the chips were tepid and the gravy served in a pot on the side was only warm and tasteless. I informed the waitress the chips and gravy were not hot enough. She apologised and took it away. When it was returned the chips had and gravy had been blasted in the microwave. The pork sandwich was not good. The stuffing had only been mixed with hot water and it baked. I left it and at no point did anyone bother to ask me how my meal was.customer service -1. I will not return.

The price of delivery was also amazing compared to the mail order giants which all charge £6.99 now and often arrive damaged sadly. I will definitely keep checking your web site and hope you send out plug plants so I can order from you. I found you in a Google search when I was looking for Crocosmia and you came up the cheapest. Not only that but a decent size pot too at 2L. Would definitely recommend you ð
