I was nervous about organising a cleaner for my elderly aunt but Charlotte at Well Polished organised everything perfectly. My aunt has done her own cleaning for over 60 years and is very particular. However I needn’t have worried. The cleaner is great and lives up to my aunts high standards. Can’t recommend Well Polished enough. You won’t be disappointed.

Came across Well Polished when my father’s cleaner kept failing to turn up.

They were very professional and explained how they operate, and were flexible in what my father’s needs were.
A local cleaner was sourced and we have been so happy with the cleaning standards and the cleaner is lovely and my father really gets on with her.

Thank you Well Polished for taking one more worry away and giving us peace of mind with a cleaning service we can trust.

*Avoid at all costs*
Turned up 1.5 hours late. Didn’t communicate accurate booking length (Confirmation email said 12-17:00, but the two cleaners - one of whom was the other cleaner’s kid - did 2.5 hours each). Poor job done - booked clean after getting laminate put down, and there was still dust and shavings everywhere. Charged £20 extra for their own supplies used (even though full products requested by company were provided). When contacted, company were pushy about payment and basically used the fact my mother in a panic cleaned the place for us to say we “didn’t have a leg to stand on”.
£120 (plus £50 booking fee) down the pan for a dreadful job.

Cannot believe how bad this company are extremely unprofessional the worst cleaning company ever, do not look after their cleaners treat them very badly but expect 5 star cleaning. You only get that if you treat people with respect AVOID AT ALL OPPORTUNITY, you don’t have to work directly for them, a close very honest person was treated appallingly hence the review because that cleaner has worked for me for many years, couldn’t cope without her, she’s reliable, honest and really good at what she does, I read the messages for myself to see what an awful company well polished are. Well Polished – Faversham. I am very satisfied with the service as a whole. The assigned cleaner is truly exceptional! They needed no time getting settled in with our household (3 kids and 4 house cats). They have always been punctual with the agreed-upon time slot and paid great attention to detail while cleaning. My dealings with the agency itself have also been very positive. They were quick in responding to my initial inquiry and have been polite and helpful throughout our communication. Within a week of contacting them, they had already arranged for us to meet the cleaner. They also discussed all costs upfront, ensuring you are fully aware of what you will be paying.

My mum, Maureen Elvis, is very satisfied with Lydia, the house cleaner. She is very prompt and very thorough.

I started using Well Polished's services in Sutton Coldfield in early 2025. I have been very satisfied with the work of the cleaner that was assigned to me (Sarah). She is always punctual and works hard throughout her visit. I also like that the management of Well Polished keep in regular contact to ensure that everything is satisfactory (which it is)

The service started well with a reliable cleaner, but when she left I was given poor quality replacements. Cleaners would come for 1 hour but still request payment for 2 hours. Cleaners would also cancel or re-arrange appointments so I was not receiving regular cleans, however the monthly fee was still being charged. I contacted the office about this but received no satisfactory response. The last cleaner left and I did not receive a replacement. After 6 weeks without a cleaner attending I cancelled my contract, and requested a refund but I did not receive a refund and then a further payment was taken from my account. I raised this with the company and received no response.

Fab company with great staff. Really friendly and a great job done. Now using for multiple family members. Highly recommend.

I’m really happy with the service I’ve received from Well Polished. My fantastic cleaning lady, Delia, comes every fortnight and always leaves my home sparkling clean to a high standard. I have high expectations when it comes to how my home is cleaned, and Well Polished consistently meets them.

Danielle regularly checks in to see how things are going, which adds a lovely personal touch to the service. It’s clear that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction. They do exactly what they promise, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high- quality reliable cleaning.

Well Polished - Watford area manager seemed really nice to start with. Sent me pricing information. I requested a little more clarification regarding the prices and she went missing. She didn’t respond to emails, calls or text messages.

I’m glad I didn’t part with any money and get into a long-term weekly arrangement. My understanding was the whole reason behind paying the agency fee was to be able to communicate any questions etc.

The Radlett area manager didn’t even respond to the query through the website!

Had a good experience with the cleaning staff for several months, but decided to cancel and go with a different company due to the poor management of the area manager. Messages would frequently go unread, and notice of changes to the time and date were extremely last minute.

Since cancelling in February I am still being charged the monthly management fee, despite contacting the area manager several times and being told it was cancelled. I also contacted the main office and they were unable to help, and instead forwarded the message to the area manager.

The charge isn't even registered as a direct debit so it isn't possible to manually cancel from my bank account.

Extremely disappointing service, and I've lost £70 from my account over the last four months with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Very reliable and punctual staff with cover for holidays etc. Polite staff who did a good job cleaning our house.

Barbara is truly outstanding. She goes above and beyond every single time she comes to clean our home. Her attention to detail is second to none – she doesn’t just clean from top to bottom, she takes genuine pride in her work and ensures every corner is spotless. What sets Barbara apart is her willingness to do more than is required. She’s always tidying up, taking on small household tasks without being asked, and bringing a thoughtful, caring touch to everything she does.

We honestly couldn’t imagine life without her now. Her reliability, professionalism, and dedication make her an absolute gem. We feel so lucky to have found her and cannot recommend her highly enough.

I’ve been using Well Polished for around 10 years now. Firstly when I lived in Hertfordshire and then since 2018 after moving back to Glasgow. Donna has been our cleaner since then and is very reliable, always on time, just gets on with her routine around the house and does a great job every time. We’ve moved house again recently, had a break over Covid and Donna has just adapted and always there. Highly recommend!
