Having spent over €600 on 4 Gps collars,(€499.85 on 3 collars on 15/Nov 2025, & €169.95 on 1 collar on 8 Nov 2025) we were very disappointed that they lasted only 1 year and less than one year respectively). They worked great at the start up until approx Months, and then things started to go wrong, the collars would work for a day and then stop. Which was very distressing on our 3 dogs, and very frustrating on us , as over the years we have tried everything to contain them.
We were promised that this would solve all our problems, but it wasn't to be.
When we complained on 27/12025 about them we were told they were out of warranty the month before, but they said they would look after us, as we had been such good customers.
So when we received the replacements they were scuffed and obviously not new. These again were ok for a month or so, and then the same thing started to happen.
And that is the end of the support we have received from Western Pet products. And I have been told I'm being ungrateful. With us really insulting.

We were first to good a great review of these collars, not knowing how little we would get from them time wise. What a complete waste of money.

So please don't waste your money on the Gps dog collar, as they will fail. And you and your dog will be left stressed and frustrated.
We really feel let down and sorry we ever purchased these, it's a lot of money to see wasted.

I purchased this electronic dog collar recently and unfortunately had a very poor support experience after the sale. I tried calling twice for help with setup and to resolve an issue we were having, but was never able to speak to anyone directly. Each time, I only received brief one-line email replies that didn’t actually address the questions I asked.

Because I couldn’t get proper guidance or troubleshooting support, I’ve decided to return the product. Good after-sales service is really important with items like this, and sadly it just wasn’t there in this case.

I hope the company improves their customer support accessibility in the future.

When issues occurred the team were straight onto it and were extremely helpful.

Very cheaply made product. Customer service rep was very rude when a return was requested. Also full refund was not processed although you pay for your own postage back. They deducted approx 25% of the original payment and refunded the rest.
Only positive is they ship the product out very fast, received the next day.

Recently purchased two of these for two older dogs... the set up was easy, no wires to lay .. Just charged the collars, set the boundary and away we went.. dogs are older but got the hang of it within 2 days..the customer service was 5 star too.. best purchase I've made.. and going back for a 3rd for the new addition...

Can't recommend this company enough, have used their products for years with very few issues. The issues that did arise were fixed very quickly after a quick email to them. Their products are well made and last well, have used their training collar system for years now and it works perfectly still to this day almost 5 years later. I recommend them to everyone who asks how I train my dogs. Will be using them again in the future

From our first e-mail enquiry for a site assessment through to getting our dog using the collar everything has been great. The GPS collar is great as it meant not having to lay down wires or have a central console within the house. Our dog has taken to it brilliantly aswell and thankfully we didnt need to use the electric shock option. Has made our lives so much easier since we could let the dog outside safe in the knowledge he wouldnt go anywhere. Would HIGHLY reccommend

Purchased the GPS Collar recently. Amy was very kind and helpful in helping us choose a product and very responsive, replying not long after we had sent the initial email. Delivery was very prompt too. Unfortunately the GPS collar was not all that I had hoped it would be, I found that despite having full satellite signal, rhe midpoint I had set would constantly change when I was trying it out, and at one stage it was about 15 metres off and continually buzzed despite having full signal and being outdoors. I could understand if it was off by a couple of metres but I would be very worried that if we left our dog outside for the day they could be shocked over and over despite being in the correct place within the set boundary. We had enquired about a return but the reply email was more catered towards our concerns with the item rather than actually returning the product, so we never returned in the end before the 14 days was up as we felt any attempt to start a return would be shot down. I do think the staff are very knowledgable and lovely, and the products seem legit and certainly other reviews here show some very happy customers so we might just be an outlier, but I do think if you’re hoping to buy a product to be certain it’s what you want/need.

Customer service 💯 I dealt with Amy and Cathal and it was so easy. They went above and beyond with the info and help they gave. Now for the products I have a now 42kg lab/ weimaraner mix whi is 2 and just a big full of love puppy but a bit of houdini which is extremely concerning as we live in the country with sheep and lambs all around. We purchased the wire fencing for around the perimeter of our land and it is just amazing she was very quick to learn her place and also so much piece of mind. We also got the training collar which worked fantastic with lead training and recall. We have now purchased and awaiting the GPS radio fencing for the holiday home as it is full mobile and again a lot if live stock in the area so knowing we can take it anywhere and adjust it is amazing. If it wasn't for these products our pup would be locked up 24 /7 because of the fear she would wonder into the wrong area and have to be put down which is a real threat with sheep around. This gives us so much peace of mind and my puppy so much more freedom. Pricing is outstanding great value for money. Delivery is within days which you can track and just a fantastic company to deal with. Wish you all the best for the future.

Having had a collar from a very well known brand, available in most pet shops, and having been very disappointed in its effectiveness, it was a great pleasure to be able to purchase something from an Irish company.
I have a family of dogs, some that take to the road on occasion and the collar I bought for the leader of the gang was a clever purchase.
I am always looking for reliable pet products and I am happy to recommend your business based on my recent experience.
The customer service I received from this company has been second to none, I am a returning customer and a happy one at that.

Cd nt get product to work and no help from them never again worse service ever

We had a previous collar for our dog but he figured out the warning mechanism and got through it. It was very frustrating but I contacted Amy in Western Pet Products and she suggested this new type. So far so good, it has many more warning signals to alert our little wanderer and he seems to be taking more notice of it and stayed home.
I have not gotten around to adding the Air Tag to it yet.

They have a wide range on products that suit every dog size and area and are quite affordable. Excellant customer service, I dealt with Amy who was very helpful and dealt with my queries quickly and efficiently. Would absolutely recommend purchasing from here

An absolutely fantastic company to deal with. Their customer service is excellent, if you have any questions they will be answered extremely promptly. Their products are top quality. Only for their wire system my dog chip would have wandered away and we would never have found him. People tell me I am cruel to use it on my dog--rubbish, the dogs are not stupid, they do not stay at the wire getting a little shock constantly, they hear it beep and move away, it keeps them safe. A car running my dog over would be an awful lot crueler. A fantastic company to deal with, their products are amazing

Dispatch was immediate but an post took 4 days to get it to us ordered Monday received Friday ☺️. Very happy with the product, we bought 2 collars as we have 5 dogs and live near cattle farms. 2 American bully xls a German Shepherd and 2 springer pits tried the collars and are trained by day 2. They all return straight away after hearing the warning beep. We noticed we need to have it charged again after around 2 days. The Pitbulls required the longer prongs as they feel the stimulation more, they tried to go over the perimeter twice and learned soon after. We will be purchasing 3 more so each dog will have a collar each. Good service 😃
