Extremely disappointed with the service. My shower glass finally arrived, but I received absolutely no information beforehand. I even had to call the day before just to find out whether the delivery was happening at all, and all I was told was âmaybe.â The glass was supposed to arrive last week, yet no updates were provided at any point.
When the delivery driver showed up, he said he couldnât bring the shower glass up to my flat and left it on the ground floor. This is the second time this has happened. If you are selling and delivering large, fragile items, you should provide a complete delivery service, not leave customers to deal with heavy glass on their own.
Now I have a very fragile item sitting in the hallway on the ground floor because I wasnât given any notice to arrange help. This is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication, organization, and basic customer care from the Battersea shop has been incredibly frustrating.
I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

This was my first replacement bathroom, so I wasn't aware what was possible these days.
At the end of October '25, I walked into the Wandsworth branch and fell in love with the shower system they had in one of their displays. After enquiring further, Oliver was very helpful in suggesting other fixtures and fittings, lighting, ventilation and tiling to match.
Over the next few weeks we ran through several design iterations backed by 3D computer generated images before firming up on the final design.
I had no preferred installers, so West One provided me with a list of companies they had worked with before. This was invaluable.
The installer we chose had availability leading up to Christmas so we had to move quickly.
I met Oliver with my installer for a meeting at West One to run through everything. We double checked everything would work together and would fit correctly into the available space. We also checked the heat output of the chosen towel rail to see if it was sufficient to heat the room. As a result we added another radiator to the design to be on the safe side.
We asked Oliver to check lead times for everything. This resulted in one or two things being swapped out for alternative products, or ordered from different suppliers, with me on hand to approve any slight changes in design.
When we discovered that the shower I wanted was on 4 weeks delivery, West One provided measured drawings for the fitters to work to in lieu of the fitting itself. Once we all agreed the project was doable in the time, money was handed over and we were underway!
As he had worked with West One before, our installer liaised with them to arrange delivery to the house, as and when needed.
We had a minor issue with the supplied bath overflow pipe which had been bent in half by the supplier and jammed into a box which was too small, and had snapped. This was quickly rectified with an email to West One containing a photo of the damage. A replacement part arrived from the supplier the following morning.
The whole project finished ahead of time and we are overjoyed at the results!
In short, Oliver was invaluable in terms of design, with his extensive knowledge of available fixtures and fittings, suggestions, and visualisations of different options.
The coordination meeting we had was invaluable to resolve potential problems and agree solutions.
I was also impressed by Sophie and Jane from the same branch for being able to seamlessly step in to help and advise if Oliver was not available. They are both highly professional and had all the information at their fingertips to quickly get up to speed.
End result for my extremely aggressive timescale; a smooth running project, delivered ahead of time, and a very happy client!

Honestly the worst experience working with West One. A hugely expensive bathroom and we had dreadful customer service from start to finish. Sat down in the showroom with our bathroom dimensions and handed over to a man who seemed to be very knowledgeable. Over the next few weeks we sent floor plans and went back and forth with mood boards and websites until we selected our bathroom and tiles. As we went to pay we learnt the man that helped us had left but were told to go ahead and pay (£5k) and we would receive everything within a week. Well the delivery note came in and actually two products werenât available for three months. Tiles arrived and half were smashed so we had to wait another week to get those replaced. Then turned out that the man that had recommended the products hadnât looked at the dimensions so the hot towel rail was too big for the room. When we tried to return it we were told we should pay an 25% restock charge. Also, they hadnât allowed for enough tiles. When I complained about this all, I was palmed off, delayed and eventually told I should have paid for a bathroom design service - something I was never offered and apparently this was all my fault for not checking everything with the plumber/tiler. So £5k for a bathroom that is useless and has cost me money on delays. For context, for our family bathroom we used Easy Bathrooms in Tunbridge wells - no âdesign serviceâ - just gave them the dimensions and they helped us find the right products, used topps tiles over the road for the tiles. All arrived within a week, fitted perfectly and was half the price for a size double the space. Would never touch west one again.

25 years ago I spent a lot of money refurbishing a number of bathrooms at a new purchase.
I have just had a part fail in a shower and West One were as excellent for £180 25 years later as they were all those years ago. I canât recommend them too highly.

Very expensive items ordered - 2 x copper showers with valves for £2310. Took two months for delivery and then arrived faulty from BC Designs Victrion range.
To summarise - two items arrived faulty with visible copper plating missing from the shower valve which clearly had not been checked for quality control prior to sending off as the defect is right in the front. Second item also tarnished.
I have now been in contact with the West one team for 3 months with no resolution. First they tried to fob me off to deal directly with the manufacturer. The manufacturer's only response after 3 months has been to say 'it's a living finish' without offering any explanation as to why the copper plating is missing from the shower valve or response to my request to replace a faulty item.
Don't buy BC designs as they are clearly don't have any care for the quality of the items produced and if you do have problems then West One Bathrooms will do little to support you.

Extremely disappointing experience at Chelsea. The products were low quality, and the builders recommended by them were unprofessional and cut corners throughout the job. Yes, I am aware that these issues have been addressed; however, I am posting this public review to inform the public of my honest experience. I would like to respond to the points you raised.
1. Inbani Strato Vanity Unit:
At no point was the vanity unit inspected by either West One Bathrooms or Inbani. On 11 May, West One said images would be sent to Inbani. After multiple follow-ups from 17â24 May, including videos and additional imagery, it was only on 24 May that Inbani responded, stating that âbecause itâs wood, each piece can change in its surroundings.â On 3 October, you mentioned a representative would visit to sort a resolution, yet I never heard back.
Your claim of âexcessive water damageâ does not reflect reality. The sink was used a few times over a few days and wiped down after every use. There was no pooling or standing water. Suggesting otherwise or implying I would intentionally damage the unit is completely unfounded.
2. Toilet Roll Holder:
While your records may show a delivery, it is important to clarify that it was sent as part of a larger order of at least six items, not individually. My builder signed for the entire delivery, not the individual items, and only became aware that this item was missing after unpacking. Claiming that I have it is incorrect.
3. Advice and Installation:
I am aware you do not operate an installation division. My concerns relate to the advice provided as bathroom designers. I received advice that was inaccurate, resulting in additional work for my builder to correct. For example:
a) Advice regarding the extractor fan was incorrect.
b) Guidance on the steam room installation was flawed.
If design advice is being offered, it should be correct; otherwise, it should not be given. My builder had to rectify the issues caused by this poor guidance.
4. Shower Enclosure:
The problems with the shower arose because no site visit was carried out, and the shower sold did not work in the space due to a stud wall â a detail that a site visit would have identified. The replacement model was cheaper, did not function correctly, and caused damage to the ceiling and floor which is why it needed to be replaced. This cannot be considered a gesture of goodwill.
5. Overall Handling:
I do not agree that my concerns were handled fairly or promptly. The work took nearly two years, and I had to take legal action to achieve a satisfactory outcome. Based on my experience and court outcome, I strongly disagree with your assertion that there was no manufacturing or service negligence. I have all documentation required and do not need to review your records.

I experienced serious issues with West One across two bespoke bathrooms:
Faulty products: The Inbani Strato vanity was not waterproof, warping, bubbling, and splitting within days. Repeated requests for inspection or support were ignored. Shower components arrived dented or damaged. I was also charged for a toilet roll holder that never arrived.
Poor design and planning: They attempted to install a toilet on a party wall with no drainage, failed to design a splashback, and advised unsafe steam room installation. Steam generator guidance could have caused burns, and I was told an extractor fan wasnât needed contrary to the manufacturerâs instructions.
Installation failures: The fitted shower door scraped the ceiling and floor, causing irreparable damage and requiring total replacement. Installation guidance and planning were consistently inadequate.
Delays and poor service: It took nearly two years to complete two bathrooms. Multiple products arrived late or were missing, requests were ignored, and communication was slow and contradictory.
Extra costs: I paid over £2,000 for necessary corrections, including extractor fan installation, ceiling repairs, and replacement vanity tops, which I later claimed back through the courts.
West One failed to provide competent technical guidance, reliable products, or effective customer support. They are not suitable for complex or bespoke bathroom projects.

Sham at West One Chelsea - from the minute I walked into the showroom made me feel at ease, listened to my ideas & acknowledged our budget (unlike so many other companies visited). Sham could not have made the experience more seamless & stress free for us. From recommending contractors to his very sound design advice (managing my sometimes very large ideas with a polite, realistic, solution based approach) within the small tricky space, accommodating last minute changes and actively getting everything to us as quick as possible. Clearance Bath Damaged by West One Bathrooms and We Were Expected to Pay to Replace It
I found West One Bathrooms online while searching for a replacement bath after a flood in our home. Their clearance section listed a bath described as a cancelled customer order, and I was pleased to receive prompt and helpful service from a Wadsworth colleague who assisted with sourcing accessories. Once we agreed on the price, I paid the invoice in full.
The very next day, I was informed that the bath had been damaged in the warehouse. I was told West One could source a replacement, but only if I paid an additional £228. When I asked why their insurance wouldnât cover the damage, I was then told the bath had actually been a showroom display and was damaged during removal.
This was deeply disappointing. I had purchased the item in good faith, believing it to be a customer return in original packaging. I reviewed West Oneâs own Terms & Conditions, which clearly state that the contract is binding once payment is made. I requested that the bath be replaced at their expense, given that the damage occurred while still in their possession.
After 24 hours, I received a final response: West One would not replace the bath and would issue a refund. No further discussion.
Iâm now left without a bath, and sourcing a replacement elsewhere will cost significantly more. This experience reflects a lack of accountability and integrity from a company I initially trusted. A refund may resolve their side of the transaction but it doesnât resolve mine.
Update: partial refund was recieved 5 days later. When I chased the remaining £60, I was met with radio silence. After 48 hours I called the showroom, to be rushed off the phone with a promise to look into the situation. Amazingly within 5 minutes I had an email advising the payment had been chased. However, what really was the icing on the cake was the lack of apology. It would appear West One Bathrooms customer service only exists when things go well. When they have your money and are delivering a service. When they cannot meet their obligations, stated in their own T&Cs, your nothing but an inconvenience.
My advice to the owner and senior management.....integrity means doing the right thing, even when it costs. It is also the most valuable USP.
