The free personal collection was so handy and hassle -free.It was great to be able to access my seller's account and monitor my item for sale The service was really good throughout and my bottle actually sold for quite a bit higher than the estimate.As estimated I was paid within the 14-21days.I would certainly recommend this company.

From the initial valuation request to the arrangement of collection and the final auction date everything went smoothly and as planned. The team are extremely helpful if yiu have any queries and payment after the auction was prompt and within the specified time frame. Access to the online system is easy to use even for someone who is not that great at technology. As mentioned above the team are always happy to help with any queries. Would definitely recommend and use this company again.

In May of last year, I decided to sell my modest whisky collection. After a bit of research, I decided to go with whisky online auctions. After meeting Wayne and Harrison in person.
I decided to sell the collection in batches over a period of months. Each time delivering it myself. Each time the Value were spot on. It is a well run family business and they are experts in what they do. Highly recommended From a person who's collected whisky for over 30 years. Thank Wayne & Harrison

An amazingly easy experience.

The generously
estimated prices were mostly achieved. Some were bettered. The commission taken was surprisingly low.

Very knowledgeable staff, and every person that I contacted, replied promptly, and courteously.

Around two years ago, I approached three outlets to sell my whisky collection of over 300 bottles. Whisky-Online Ltd were the only one to constantly follow up the enquiry, not with a sales perspective but from my position. I spoke to Harrison and we talked about various whiskies and the best type of approach to market my collection.

Eventually, I sent over several photos and within an hour or so, I received a range of prices, fair value to potential value, each bottle could achieve at auction. I immediately tested the prices in the market and with other agencies. I called up Harrison and we talked through his presented prices and it was only then I realised the deep knowledge that he had on the specific range of sample bottles. I still was not sure I was going to sell.

Not asking Harrison for prices, I sent him a range of different bottles and a short time later his value information was fired back via WhatsApp.
This routine carried on two or three times further, until I had a full landscape of prices for all bottles.

I was still only around 70% ready to sell, I needed to know more. The process, the procedure, collection, delivery, terms etc. At no point did Harrison push me he just provided the information which got me comfortable.

I shared with Harrison that I had sent some photos of prize bottles over to a top specialist for testing the market and was extremely happy that the range of prices managed my expectations materially better than the specialist. I phoned Harrison to find out the next steps, the visit to my property 500 mile roundtrip, recording and boxing the goods for collection and got to 95% ready to sell. While Harrison was giving me the information I got cold feet as I was selling a collection put together over a long period, Harrison never pushed me at all. Finally we set a date and Wayne and Harrison came over.
It was only at this point did I realise the expertise and knowledge Wayne and Harrison demonstrated as they picked up each bottle often giving their example of their personal connection to the distillery, brand and auction experiences.
It was the easiest thing handing my prize collection to people that cared for what I had and who treated it with real pride to be part of helping me execute the sale.

The bulk was sold at one auction and the doubles went in the following auction and some prize bottles are still being sold at this time in a Private collection.

Amazing experience, WOL are genuine people that care over and above the brand and put everything out there to make sure the seller is treated as fairly as the buyer. A difficult balance to make and maintain as a trusted company. Being a family concern they are able to show more flexibility than structured rule dictated companies.

The process was seamless, what was said happened and payments have been made on time.

From receiving estimates to entering Bottles into Auction everything is plain sailing, being local i prefer to deliver my bottles and always receive a warm welcome.
