**Loved it at first — failed in under 4 years and the lifetime warranty was useless**

When we first bought our WinkBeds Luxury Firm King mattress, I absolutely loved it. I bragged about it to friends and family and would literally have people lie on it because I thought it was that comfortable.

Unfortunately, that did not last.

We received the mattress in May 2022 and also purchased WinkBeds’ own platform foundation. By March 2026 — less than 3 years and 10 months later — the mattress had developed significant sagging and I could physically feel something poking me from inside the mattress. The problems had already been developing for several months by then.

It eventually became uncomfortable enough that I slept on the couch because the couch was more comfortable.

I submitted extensive photos and measurements for a warranty claim. WinkBeds initially reviewed the photos and told me the mattress had approximately 1.0–1.25 inches of compression, which they considered normal body conformity. Their warranty threshold for sagging is 1.5 inches.

I repeatedly explained that the sagging was not my only concern — I could actually feel something inside the mattress poking me when I lay down. That possible internal defect was never meaningfully addressed.

After I later submitted additional measurement photos and asked for the claim to be escalated, I was told one measurement was actually less than half an inch and another was invalid because it was taken near a tuft.

So during the same warranty process, I was told the mattress had 1.0–1.25 inches of compression and later that it was under half an inch.

The warranty claim was denied.

WinkBeds then offered me 50% off another same-size mattress through their “Any Reason” replacement program. However, I was told that replacement would be final sale, with no trial period and no warranty.

After spending thousands on a premium mattress setup that failed in under four years, I was not willing to spend another four-figure amount on the same brand while giving up the warranty entirely.

We ultimately replaced it with a $200 clearance mattress from Target.

I do not expect a $200 mattress to last forever. That is exactly why this experience is so disappointing. I paid premium-mattress money because I expected better durability and because the lifetime warranty gave me confidence in the purchase.

I went from enthusiastically recommending WinkBeds to telling people not to buy one based on the expectation that the premium price or lifetime warranty means the mattress will last.

I have the complete email chain, dated photos, measurements, mattress tags, and warranty responses documenting the entire experience.

First it is a well made mattress. I ordered a full size firm, but do not feel like it is firm enough. The top is soft and I thought it might be cooler than it is. Delivery was fine, but I had to find someone to help install it as it is extremely heavy. Now here is where I have a complaint. I am 72 years old and live alone. Some very important information was not relayed on the website for the care of the mattress. On my card of instructions I am suppose to rotate it every 2 weeks for the first 3 months and then every 2 months thereafter. I cannot lift this mattress, therefore it has only been rotated twice since I bought it 2 years ago. I have to have two people as I cannot do it. Had I known that I would have chosen a different mattress that I do not have to depend on someone else to turn it.

I purchased the luxury firm king. About 80 days in I started noticing my lumbar spine becoming sore and progressively tighter. I thought I needed to stretch more and so I did. Around 115 days my back seized up and I wasn’t able to move freely for a few days. I stopped sleeping in the winkbed mattress and began sleeping in a guest bedroom with a firm mattress. Within a few days my back was back to normal. By this time the trial period had passed by a few days. I asked winkbeds to honor their exchange given the circumstances and they would not. The bed started firm and is now soft after 4 months. Don’t buy from winkbeds.

The bed is nice but not a right fit for me due to firmness issue. Tried exchanging bed for a softer firmness under their 120 day free trial and was hit with terrible customer support (generic copy and paste replies) basically telling me to try the bed longer.

Yea, no thank you, not torturing my body just so you can delay the refund/return process. The mattress will get softer over time, but not enough that it will make a difference.

I switched from a firm mattress to a softer (medium) mattress specifically for this issue. My old softer (medium) mattress was simply too old, so I wanted to replace it with a new mattress.

The luxury firm was too firm, creating unnecessary pressure points for me, which led to me waking up with lower pain everyday for the past 2+ weeks.

Literally wrote the same time in email to Winkbeds, but was basically ignored by customer service.

Highly do not recommend, the return process is terrible, not even a real human answering you, likely just some AI agent giving you generic replies.

I purchased a Cal King Softer WinkBed with Frost Cooling Cover plus the Ice Mattress Protector in May 2026 (roughly $2,400 total). WinkBeds heavily markets itself as a premium American-made mattress company with a 120-night risk-free trial, free returns, “100% refunds,” lifetime warranty, and “best in class customer service” built on “generosity, integrity, and humanity.”
The mattress arrived with what I believe was mold (or at minimum heavy contamination that looked exactly like mold) along the seam. I contacted support immediately with photos. They acknowledged it “was not delivered in perfect condition” and offered either a $200 partial refund if I kept it or a replacement. They later claimed it was just “dirt from their industrial machines,” but it looked like mold to me and was completely unacceptable on a brand-new premium mattress.
I requested a full return. They arranged pickup through Sharetown. What followed was weeks of delays, broken promises on contact dates, and significant hassle with their pickup partner before the mattress and the Frost Cooling Cover were finally picked up.
They then issued a refund short by ~$136. They kept the $9.08 “Environmental Responsibility Fund” (a fee they add to every order supposedly to cover sustainable disposal of returned mattresses — even though this return went through their own partner) and refused to refund the Ice Mattress Protector, calling it final sale.
This directly contradicts their own repeated advertising of “100% refunds” on returns within the trial period. I returned everything I reasonably could. Their explanation was tone-deaf and failed to justify how keeping these fees after a mold/contamination issue on a new mattress aligns with their marketing.
I sent a detailed, polite follow-up email laying out the facts and requesting the remaining balance. As of June 5, 2026, they have not responded.
This experience was exhausting and infuriating. Poor quality control that allowed mold (or mold-like contamination) on a brand-new mattress, a painful and unreliable return process, and then nickel-and-diming on technicalities after they already accepted the return. They talk a big game about customer satisfaction and integrity, but when something goes wrong they find ways to keep your money.
Strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other mattress companies that actually stand behind their trial and return promises without the games, hidden fees, and radio silence. Do not risk getting a contaminated mattress and then fighting to get your money back.

Want to know why most mattress companies give you a 120 day trial? Because it usually takes longer than that to develop problems.

I knew something was up with our Hybrid Firm Winkbed Mattress, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Unfortunately, I lost track of time and reached out to them 1 day late (121 days after purchase…what are the chances?).

Their customer service team wasn't willing to be flexible. The mattress is not good for side sleepers, and I can't recommend it in good conscience. It's caused me and my wife too much shoulder/neck pain. Go with a brand that offers a 365-day trial.

Second Wink Bed I have owned. This was delivered as a "mattress in a box" by FedEx and setup and removal was through LoadUp.

First, LoapUp: expected a professional setup and removal crew and literally got three guys and a pickup truck. These guys had no idea what they were supposed to do.

Then the mattress itself. After it was unpacked and allowed to expand, the mattress is just a misshapen mess. Not one corner is square and the whole mattress is lopsided - more like a parallelogram than a rectangle.

My previous Wink Bed was delived by truck and arrived in prefect condition.

Save yourself some aggravation and buy your mattress from a local store - I wish I had!

I ordered a WinkBed and was very excite to get new bed. The bed did not work out due to it sleeps hot and way too firm. I asked to return the bed weeks ago and WinkBed has refused stating there return service does not service my area. They will not refund me without me going through even more expense. Do not trust this scamming company because they will not take back the mattress. I'm stuck with the mattress taking up my living room and I am livid and consider this company a fraud and more likely to pay for an attorney or report them to Attorney General's Consumer Relations Department for investigation into their practices. Unfortunate being that I do believe they make a good product but the springs were already bowing out on the edges of the bed and into my shoulders.

We recently purchased 2 twin XL mattresses for our adjustable bases. Upon opening the shipping packaging BOTH mattresses had yellowish-brown urine like stains. Although Wink has offered to swap out replacements, we are concerned about the company's quality control.

Have had our Winkbed 6 years mattress started shifting about a year ago. Call company they said set it up on its side and should help it didn’t. Then the last year we were noticing we were sliding out of our bed, and there was a hump in the middle of the the bed. Call the company and ask me to do some
Measurements. We are not heavy people I’m 120lbs and my husband is 130lbs same weight we have been since we brought this bed. Since it’s only said 1 inch it’s not under warranty. Will not replace it, though. There’s a huge hump in the middle and gave us a line that it molding to our specifications. And sliding out of the bed, isn’t problem. For the money we paid for this bed after six years it’s very sad Buyer. Beware anybody want any more information. Let me know.

There is no “luxury” firm…it’s just straight hard as a rock. The firmness is a honest 8.5/10!

DO NOT BUY AYOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY A MATTRESS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I believed all the hype I read, and so I decided to buy one. BIG MISTAKE!!! The mattress started sagging within a few months. The back pain started shortly thereafter and continued to get worse. Their return policy is 60-days, which is really convenient for them, considering what a poor-quality product they make. Since the mattress still wasn’t that old, I decided to contact their customer service. They strung me along and led me to believe that if I provided them with dozens of photos, and detailed measurements, I may get a refund. JUST A TRICK!!! After jumping through all those hoops, they said that the sagging didn’t meet their minimum level for a refund. DON’T BE FOOLED!!!

I trusted in the reviews and for the first time in my life I bought a luxury firm mattress without going anywhere to touch, see, or lay on it before purchasing. I loved that it was delivered within 2weeks right to my door. I’m one week in and loving my new mattress.

Lots of information online and the few questions we did have were quickly answered with a short email. Mattress arrived on promised delivery date and within the time frame expected.
Slight issue with the delivery (FedEx) - dropped the box with such force in our gravel drive that tiny pieces of the gravel were inside the box when we removed the plastic roll. Mattress well wrapped so no damage, just a mess to clean up before preceding.

Somewhat fast delivery and a good product

Smooth and reliable process. Very comfortable results.

I sent bed to family ahead of our move, they set it up yesterday, we were told they would have liked instructions for platform. Had a little trouble with one of the legs ( screw was hard to get in) I’m 500 miles away, hope to be there by next week. Then I can tell you more.

Mattress arrived in expected timeframe, was able to sleep on the same night it arrived. Seems to be a great purchase thus far!

While it is good information to know that my mattress is being constructed, that message could include more information such as “ the mattress is being made, this should take 48 hours and then shipped. Shipping to your area will require about 72 hours”
